Negative experience: If one realtor represents the whole group then this place should be done away with. Robbin Bitner rented out a cockroach and bed bug infested house to me! He and his wife said they didn’t know it was infested, but there were bug traps set up all throughout the house as well as the tenants on the other side confirming a previous infestation! He uses someone close to him as his exterminator and the exterminator does not do a professional job. There were bed bugs on the steps and roaches in the cabinets as well as all over the floor! Some were dead but the majority were alive. At 227 KINSEY ST, Robbin caused a tort by breaking Ind. Code § 32-31-8-5 which states that: A landlord shall do the following: (1) Deliver the rental premises to a tenant in compliance with the rental agreement, and in a safe, clean, and habitable condition. (2) Comply with all health and housing codes applicable to the rental premises. by failing to deliver the rental in a clean habitable condition.

Negative experience: Refused to rent to me because of my mobility issues. They made several excuses about stairs, already rented (when it's still posted for rent), going to be going to another management company, etc... They even said they cannot accommodate me when the ADA and HUD rules say they have to make reasonable accommodations. The sad thing is about 3-4 of the realtors are on the list for the voucher program.

Fantastic experience: Manju Pokrel was my realtor from Better Homes and Gardens Real-estate on Richmond Rd. She sold my house in 12 hours. She is an experienced realtor and very knowledgeable. She kept me informed throughout the sale. Made the selling experience a lot less stressful.

Negative experience: Purchased a home using realtor from Lingle/coldwell (which was who my realtor worked for) and the place we bought was using a realtor from better homes and garden. After speaking to the seller of our property and I have the proof in a text message that his realtor and the sellers all decided to sell their property without disclosing it was in a flood zone. I know it’s our personal responsibility to have checked but with surgeries an moving (our moving company quit after one load because they could not or did not want to move some of my belongings) so I figured and my realtor said to trust her so I figured that’s part of her job not to do us wrong. My realtor from Lingle is really good friends with the realtor from better homes and garden that the seller used. My point I know the one realtor knew and I would also think she told my realtor. It’s sell as many as u can right now while the market is at its highest. My appraiser had nothing down and my disclosure statement was checked no for it not being in a flood zone and the seller admitted that to me in text as well. Right now it seems like they are getting away with it but there are others to try. Waiting on my appraisal of the property being appraised for what the property is worth being in the flood zone and finding out the difference. Point being we would have never purchased this home knowing that it was in a flood zone. Thanks! I hope Karma pays you back!!!

Negative experience: I was lied to and my agreement was broken. I was made to believe certain repairs were made that had never been made. Buying my house through Better Homes and Gardens has resulted in me wasting every dime I had on a house that ended up being nothing but issues and isnt worth anything compared to what I was led to believe. Whatever you do don't trust their word. I was completely taken advantage of as a first time home buyer.

Negative experience: Beware of Flakey Dawn Tyree. Doesn't want to work ever. List your house and have it sit forever cause she doesn't answer her calls. If you can get her, just excuses for not wanting to work.
