Ariel Dunes II by Real Joy Vacations

Positive experience: I am a big fan of these condos. My family and I have stayed here many times. I prefer the Ariel Dunes 2 building, higher floors. This time, we stayed with family in #801, which is a corner unit managed by RealJoy properties, and it is very nice. Although appliances and mattresses are quite old and it could use more blankets and silverware. We have also stayed in 10 or so other condos in the same building. We love the huge pools (one is heated), the spacious lobby, and the nice gym and sauna. Conveneint location, close to the beach and big parking lot with plenty of space. There are also 4 elevators so you never have to wait. I highly recommend Ariel Dunes, but we will probably try a different unti from 801 next time!

Fantastic experience: We stayed in Aerial Dunes 1 803 and it was perfect! Great location with everything you need including Beachfront golf cart rental right in front of the fabulous Cabana Grill. View is gorgeous. Danielle went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed. I suggested in the first few days that they get some real floor mats for the bathrooms because the marble floor is slippery and that night they delivered plushy bath mats! We highly recommend and will definitely be return customers.

Positive experience: The apartment was good. It had a nice view of the beach and the ocean. Didn't enjoy the fan that connected to the light in the rooms. You can't turn the fan off with turning off the lights as well.

Negative experience: We stayed at ariel Dunes 2 1601 in the seascape resort. This place was run down and not kept up at all!! I'm very disappointed with that. Couldn't swim in the pool because it was filled with bugs. My husband said it smelled like sweaty armpits! Yuck!! The place we stayed in was beautiful, but that wasn't even kept up. Dishwasher was disgusting. Was never cleaned and backed up with food. The curtains in one of the rooms were broken and not fixed for 3 days. One of the lamps were broken. The floors were so dirty and we had to get them cleaned by maintenance. They use very harsh products but it doesn't clean. We had to clean everything from the tubs to the fridge. The dishwasher was cleaned out but still disgusting and we couldn't use it. It smelt up the entire place. I don't know why you wouldn't keep up a place like this. We would never go back here!! Great views, but they ruin it by their appearance and cleanliness, which is beyond gross!!!

Negative experience: Room 1807 Wonderful location with magnificent views. Sufficiently large apartment and nicely furnished. Bathroom very modern. Balcony very large. The complex is huge. In principle, you ONLY pay for the location and view. The rest does not justify the price. The apartment was only moderately clean (garbage found behind sofa cushions and the pipe of the water dispenser dripping with dirt). The apartment is supposed to be for 6 people. For this, neither the bread knives, plates, nor the pots are enough. There is not even a kitchen scissors. You have to take care of common things (toilet paper, baking paper, detergent, salt and pepper, coffee filters and garbage bags, etc.) yourself, which is not possible if you have a long way to travel. Usually you have something like that once there and the tenants fill up what they empty. The oven stinks and smokes, so the smoke alarm went on. It is not usable. The sofa squeaks and is saggy, no one could have hit it. Thus, the apartment is NOT suitable for 6 people. I can not recommend the apartment!

Positive experience: Nice place! For 8 people they provided 2 toilet paper rolls and 1 paper towel rolls. Bur besides that great place to rent.

Negative experience: We stayed here for 2 nights and had a very unpleasant experience. First of all, our room was not very clean , housekeeping needs to do a better job . We were never able to put the wifi onto the tv in the living room, the right password was always used, we restarted the tv and even turned it off and the wifi never worked. This sucked as we were never able to watch tv in our 2 night stay. More kitchen utensils would also be nice, since they only have 1 very old pan. Finally, the staff is very rude . We called to request more towels and were rudely told they could only give us 1 per person. The three pools were the only nice thing about this hotel. We are never booking here again.

Positive experience: This hotel is a great and beautiful place to stay! With a beautiful view and 3 pools! Even one for the kids! Although you should get a new cleaning person because even tho it looks clean on the surface I took my sheets off to wash them and there was hair allllll on the bed cover! It was nasty!!! But close to the beach and great security!

Fantastic experience: The views from Ariel Dunes are unbeatable

Positive experience: We always enjoy our stay, however this one wasn't up to par. There weren't any skillets in the kitchen we had to cook everything in pots scrambled eggs, burgers everything we needed a skillet for, we were very disappointed. Also it gets cool at night, there were no blankets or throws had we known we would have brought some from home, because we enjoy sitting on the balcony at night before bed, a blanket or throw would have been nice. This is first bad experience we've had. They didn't give us the code for the pool my daughter and grand sin had to wait for someone to let them in and out. The owner didn't return our text til the next morning that was disrespectful. When you pay this much for a place you want to be very comfortable. We were in #702 we hope we never have to stay in that one again. We were very disappointed . I hope the owner gets to see this.

Fantastic experience: Condo we had on the 19th floor was spectacular OMFG!!! I’m in love.

Fantastic experience: We arrived Thursday and leaving now. We had a beautiful big spacey condo. It was only 2 of us but it was big enough to sleep 6. They need to replace the mattress bc it's bumpy and the pillows and couch bc they're wore out. Only issues was with the water not being on but that's bc it's hooked up to the Wi-Fi but they told us how to bypass it until the Wi-Fi got back up. All the staff we had contact with were very nice. Other than that we had a great Vaca and a awesome view with like a 7 min walk to the beach. I will definitely be back

Positive experience: We did have some problems at the very beginning of our stay, and a few other little things were wrong as well from having to rush our unit. Although I appreciate the staff (Sharon, Destiny, Mr. Corey, and Wayne Anderson, the manager of Cabana's) helping rectify our issues that we had. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: Our first stay here. We have greatly enjoyed our stay. So many amenities! And let's not forget the beach! Cabana cafe was wonderful. Will definitely be back.

Negative experience: The apartment was overall okay, but the staff was NOT! Rude people treating the guests with no respect I am taking about the women from the pool area asking for the wrist bands in a very nasty way then called the security to check our families, then the “boss” like he said he was screaming to us, Very unpleasant individuals, definitely our family won’t come back here! They were just focus in bothering us meanwhile in the next Pool two couples almost having sex in front of our kids They really need to change those nasty, unpleasant and NOT professional employees.

Negative experience: Discusting, they don’t clean properly, this is essential especially with COVID-19 around. This fake eyelash left from last person staying, I don’t want to touch it, nasty.

Positive experience: Not very scenic. Feels like sardines in a can!

Negative experience: Stayed in room 501, Ariel Dunes II, on May 22nd, 23rd & 24th, 2020. False alarms on smoke detector were going off, on, off, on all night on the entire floor. Only 2 bath towels for family of 8. Could not find out how to get more. No hand soap, bath soap, or amenities of any kind. Rooms were semi-clean. I get it that they owners think they can charge high prices, but I expect at least some value other than just a place to sleep. I'll post pictures later. This statement was advertised, but not true from our room! "BREATH TAKING SUNSETS and beautiful views of wide, white sugar-sand beaches from an extra large balcony on a beautiful, professional decorated unit awaits you when you select this condo. This unit is located on the 5th floor of the Seascape Resort Property."

Positive experience: Nice place to stay but the cleaning service was horrible! Mildew on the shower curtain, watermelon, sunflower, and cherry seeds all over the balcony, toilet bowls were nasty. They need to fire that cleaning service.

Negative experience: We can not sleep on a Broke bed. We woke up with sore throats and I checked the filter for the air and there was not one. AND this place is not sound proof. We can here everybody out side of the condo. The bunk beds are built like jail beds( thin mattress with hard wood bottom. Will not come here again.

Positive experience: Stayed here for vacation with wyndam vacation rentals. The view was very nice. The room had a nice size bed in the main room, a futon, and set of bunk beds. The view was amazing. My family and I enjoyed it. The beach wasn't too far from us at all. We walked to the beach everyday.

Fantastic experience: The condo was nice and big. Full kitchen with all dishes you may need. We stayed in 807. The view was phenomenal. The pools are big. I like the showers in the front for you to rinse your feet when you come from the beach. The walk to the beach is short. I liked the texts for customer service. Remember: if you want to go downstairs to drink you will get IDed, even if you are 50 years old. No biggie though.

Positive experience: Nice room, clean premises, noise from the construction was a bummer otherwise great.
