Negative experience: I rent with them the house is old and everything is falling apart the rent is alright but the house should a least be in good condition I know when you rent with any company you sign a contract but loss your deposit when you move out before your due date but they talking about that If I move out I still have to pay the rent for the rest of the month like wth then yall still keeping my deposit

Negative experience: Most of the houses have roaches, beware!!! They travel through the pipes from house to house. They need to fix the interior, cabinets, bathroom and windows. OLD as idk what.

Fantastic experience: My dad rented an apartment for me in 2011 from Conrad, and I lived there for seven years until he passed away and left his house to me. Dot and Judy are very professional and good Christian ladies.

Negative experience: These people does not care about people getting homes. Their manners and attitude are sad.

Negative experience: This place is horrible. They evicted me immediately after I told them I was laid off and took me to court. I paid them and after I paid them and asked if they can remove the eviction from my record they immediately went on to tell me they need to make sure I don't owe them even more money even after stating with my security deposit. They are rude and uncaring and very short with people in conversation. I do not recommend renting through them. They are super mean and don't fix anything as well. The year I lived in my apartment I let them know alp that had to be fixed but they ignored it all.

Fantastic experience: I been renting from Conrad going on 5 yrs next month anytime I have an issue they're on time to fix it. I've never had problems with this realtor company. I'm pleased with them!

Negative experience: It’s sad how the lady at the front desk forgot my name a day after i went there. Very unprofessional and dirty…. Ps i think she was off something because she couldn’t even understand what i was saying most of the time and it was simple responses. I think she was high aF don’t go here. Plus they took my 40 bucks for the application fee when i didn’t even continue the processing fee.

Negative experience: Not the place to rent from ask about the house my aunt had live in for over 20 years and was told that it was not for rent or for sale would not tell who the owner was so that I make a offer to buy the house they have no people skills .

Negative experience: The only star it gets is for Elizabeth, I've been waiting on a bathroom floor over a year and a half.but they can put a roof on the house? I had black mold on the bathroom floor and I had to clean it with bleach. I think All realtors should have to stay in there properties for at least a week.

This place will allow you to put in a application on a property and also others but will not call you or let you know if your approved or denied. Every house they have smell like roaches and there’s flies flying around everywhere. These people have been here for years and nothing has changed with how they operate. The building itself is old and the properties. Concord needs to be shut down and ran by more professional people. More realistic people, it is 2022 & they still are operating as if it’s early 2000s. I will not let this pass by, my back ground was more than enough to get in the house I chose and I was also the first application.

Negative experience: The properties are very poorly maintained. The first couple I viewed had roaches and mold. It took forever to get approved and the older woman tried to tell me I didn’t have a job Bc she called the wrong company rather than the number I had provided. Whoever does their painting and other maintenance clearly is getting away with some of the worst work I’ve ever seen. The prices are low but should be lower for what they offer. I definitely should get my full deposit back after taking better care of the place than they have… they charged more than 2 months rent for deposit. After reading the other reviews, thank god I took photos.

Negative experience: I SHARED MY CREDIT WITH THIS REALTOR AND TOLD ME THAT THE OWNER WOULD LIOK AT IT THE HOMES I APPLIED TO MY INCOME WAS SOMETIMES 5X THE AMOUNT PLUS THEY TAKE YOUR 30 DOLLAR AND PROBABLY 50 MORE FROM DIFFERENT CLIENTS SO YOU ARE IN A POOL OF PROBABLY 50 OR MORE. THEYARE RUNNING A SCAM THEY DONT TAKE THE PROPERTY OFFLINE ONCE YOU APPLY BUT KEEP TAKING THE $30 DOLLARS AS SOON AS SOMEONE COME IN BEWARE

Negative experience: Another whole in the wall rental place the owner is rude and the woman she has working in the office hung up in my face i told the owner it was like she didn't even care have of the houses they rent out are death traps and should not be rented out and they the don't know how to talk to people

They never call you back they got some young white girl answering the phone with a attitude not professional at all! Do not lease or do a contract with these people go to Atlantic realty on main st they treat you better! I’m warning you know run away from these old evil ladies you need maintenance done they take forever I rented a place from the and I had crickets that would eat through my clothes they never rectified the issue I hurried up and moved bc they didn’t want to help me and said I brought in the crickets how sway but they only like mold and clothes!

Negative experience: Did my application about 1 month or so ago lol and still hasn’t received a call back and when I do call it’s , “ we still haven’t received an answer back from the property manager “ . When I finally asked to speak to the property manager she says “ they already told you we don’t have an answer and we still don’t “ . I don’t understand the hold up or the “ yes or no “ people have lives , kids , are losing there homes and they playing with emotions and feelings ! If I got a good background , making enough money and etc , I should’ve been first for a call back but , no it’s the same stuff .

Waited 2 weeks and gave them a call and the man claimed he couldn’t “hear you” but he was just passing the phone to the rude, grumpy lady. Called back after a month and they claimed they left voicemails for our boss and past realtors but nothing was actually done. Then told us to have our realtors call them to make their job easier. So what have they been doing this whole time? Do NOT even bother applying here.

Negative experience: Omg, these people. I would not go there for anything. The serive is so bad. The treatmeny of prospective tennants are awful. They did not return calls after you submit an application and when you call they are not pleasant. There is an old lady there with white hair. She speaks about you as though you are not present and she cannot see you. She doesn't not acknowledge you directly and her speach is very condensing. We did not have a good experience when we went to look at the house that we were hoping to rent. There was a God awful smell from the carpet. When we reported it we were told that it was already cleaned and they would not be cleaning it again. Furthermore, they have already inspected it and they did not smell anything so nothing will be done. A customer's precision is everything. But, in this case this company does not believe this logic. It is a sad was to treat low incommed people it really opened up my eyes to the experience that some people have to go through for somewhere to live. Quite obviously they put up with it because they do not have a lot of choice. We did not get the place and not just because of the smell either.

Negative experience: I am trying to move now i reported to them the damages that happened and they blamed it on me i do take full responsibility about the holes in the walls but refuse to take responsibility for everything else when me and my husband fix whatever it is that needs fixing we are getting out of this hell hole we had 3 little mice already get in here I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO LIVE HERE

Negative experience: I would give it no stars if possible. I put in my app on December 3 2018 and I called and called no answer. They ran my credit and called other references and still no answer from them. By this time its 2019. So I called one week and they needed my current address which was on the application. So I went up there and the old lady that looks like she needs to retire said we are still processing applications and kept walking. I stood there and waited still finally somebody else walked up and asked me how can I help you looked for my application it was thrown in a pile with a bunch of others. Personal info jist laying around where anybody can see it. All in all they only want your money and don't care to help you. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen.

Negative experience: This place is disgusting inside the realty company itself. Almost floor to ceiling papers everywhere with people’s personal information. When I saw that I should have known they don’t take care of their properties and ran right away! I asked for details about 1002 Mendenhall before looking at it. I was told it had a space heater under the house with vents in the floors. Go over there and it’s a huge heater in the middle of the room. Carpets were filthy and looked like animal piss all over them. They have no knowledge or intelligence to even tell you the features of their properties. I decided to give it another go and went to look at 324 Walker. That’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. There was a bug on the door, but I decided to look anyways. The doorframe was so warped with metal sticking out that it about cut my hand open. There are holes in the floors that were just carpeted over. Holes in the walls. Obvious water damage that had not been cleaned out of the ceiling. There were so many holes in one room, I couldn’t even get to the next room to look at it. It was disgusting. I let them know that they may not want to send anyone else back over there until it’s taken care of. Her response was well it wasn’t like that. Well maybe not 5-10 years ago when she was probably in it last, but she didn’t even seem to care or be bothered by it. She said she’d let the owner know, but I bet it would be a cold day in hell before she said anything. I almost never leave reviews for places, but when these other people say RUN, they weren’t kidding. The only positive reviews on here look like they were done by family or friends and not even people that use them. It is a waste of time, gas, money to even bother going over there!

Negative experience: If you need a place to stay for cheap , this is the place to go. Houses are not kept up with and I guess because it is so cheap, they treat their properties as if it’s cheap.. they love taking people’s deposit!! Save your money and get your own rental properties...

Fantastic experience: I have rented two homes from them and they have always been very professional. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a company to rent from that cares about their properties!!!!

Negative experience: If you have a choice, stay away from these people. If you are property owner, they will not take care of your property - no preventative maintenance, no interest in maintaining your investment. They will not represent your interests well AT ALL. If you are a tenant, RUN! These people are rude, unprofessional, slum lords. I have a shower that has not worked for over 4 years (turned it into a closet). HVAC system has never been serviced. Trying to get air conditioning fixed now - it's been 4 days and nothing has happened. Getting them to do any work done is very difficult - took them 3 weeks to replace my hot water heater. Had a small dog for 4 years while a tenant. She died in the spring. Now, they say no pets allowed. Turned in my notice today and thrilled to be gone by 8/31. 7/31 Judy is very RUDE and unhelpful. I have to call her to follow up every step of the way. She will not tell me when the air conditioning repair work will be done. Says there is nothing she can do. She sees no issue with there being an extended delay without repair ("that's not my problem"). Does not see it as her responsibility to expedite the process or to provide me, the tenant, with any information about the repair. I have been asking for the AC unit to be serviced for 2 years. I reported the AC was not working on Friday, July 27. Today, Tuesday, July 31, Judy said she has no idea when the work will be done. I asked if I could speak with the contractor/owner directly - she said NO. It's middle of the summer, hot and humid, air conditioning is broken and they cannot tell me if/when it will be fixed. These are not good people, folks. BEWARE! If you must deal with anyone in the office, Elizabeth is courteous and very helpful. Ask for her.

Positive experience: They work hard to get a diverse people in Guilford county and other counties, to help people establish residency so that they are safe and have a comfortable place for rent.

Negative experience: They are quick to take the application fee then you never hear from them again and if you call them to check on your applicationthey get an attitude totally unprofessional

Negative experience: They have moved me in a extremely dirty apartment. I had to clean it myself! They took my deposit and i haven't even moved in yet! I've had the apartment for about 3 weeks now. The walls was dirty, the carpet and aluminum flooring the bathrooms and kitchen was horrible. Every time I told Ms. Judy about any issues, she was always nonchalant about the situation.They had told me that the apartment was painted when it was not!!I ask for my money back,they told me no.They sent someone to clean the dirty carpet for it to still be dirty! Cigarette burns was still in the carpet, paint and marker marks was still in the carpet as well! The carpet has a horrible smell. Its still food, holes etc.. are still on the walls,and they had roach powder in the cabinets. They sent someone out to take care of the garbage disposal, they left a note on the sink saying Don't Use these side of the sink. And it stayed like that for 2weeks!! I took pictures of everything and showed them to the Conrad employees including Ms. Judy, still a week later... Nothing!! I go online and ask about this Realtor company, and in one day i had 40 negative comments on my page. No one had nothing good to say about these people! They are so racist and nasty! I will NOT EVER!! recommend Conrad Realtors to no one! Someone needs to put a stop to these them robbing the lower class people.

Fantastic experience: As a property owner, I appreciate that Conrad Realtors vets their applicants and ensures that they are honest about their credit, criminal past, etc. I feel more confident placing my investment with a company that does things the right way!

Negative experience: No ratings for this place, one whole month of calling, and stopping by only to be told I was rejected a day b4 application ended. Everytime I called I was told something different. Then they were taking all the info wrong. How do u do business like this. Not pleased at all I feel scammed. I should have known when the day another lady was in and she was then asking why it had been 3 weeks gone on her application already not professional at all.

Fantastic experience: These are fine people. They work hard to treat everyone fair and equally. They are bound by NC law to follow certain procedures, but it sometime does not like the legal process they can not bend the rules for one person. Treat them with respect and they will do the same.

Negative experience: Aweful experience!!! They treat people like trash and have NO SENSE of professionalism at all. They basically still your money in your face by charching you for everything and not returning your security deposit. Also very inconvinient, you have to go by the office each month to pay rent and have to deal with long lines and upset people arguing about their charges. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. I had rented my house from Real Property Management and had it for 3 years. Never had a problem or was ever late. Got a letter in the mail saying my property switched management company to Conrad and had to go there to sign up a new contract. In the first place they had to honor the contract i had with Real Property Management because i rented from them not Conrad. When i went to Conrads office and seen how rude, incompetent and unthruthful they were i decided not to renew. Since then i had 5 months left with my old contract and my water heater broke in december. They didnt fix it until 1 1/2 after, they didnt care. I had to go take showers at family's house with my two children because they wouldnt fix it. Also the AC got burnt in the middle of the summer and they tried to say it was my fault when the AC was over 15 years old. They finally replaced it after 1 month of being over 90fº. Because they wanted me to sign another year lease, they told my new landlord that i refused to sign a lease. Long story short, i was able to move out and my new landlord realized they were lying were horrible.

Negative experience: Very horrible service, been waiting on the contractor to install a screendoor for about 2 months, very urgent to get you off the phone. Really, these guys do not deserve half of a star.

Fantastic experience: They are All Business. They vet the potential renters thoroughly before renting to them. You must have good credit and clean criminal record to rent from them. I Like This! From a property owners stance, they are Great!
