Experiencia negativa: I would not recommend this agency, Emily with Acropolis scheduled a showing for my girlfriend and I to see a place on Saturday she canceled it saying she needed to move it to Monday at 5 which we were fine with. Come Monday after two messages Emily never responded and marked the place as sold. At least have decency to communicate what is going on, I’m glad we didn’t waste our gas driving to the location. Please don’t waste your time with this company.

Experiencia negativa: I rented a unit in the Geddes apartment building in Tipp Hill that TJ Perkins was reasonable for leasing. Based upon my experience with him, I’d avoid working with him as he did not demonstrate integrity or attention to detail. I was extremely dissatisfied with his customer service and follow-through. When we moved in, the unit which TJ was responsible for was in horrible shape. The previous resident had cats that wrecked the carpets and doors. It smelled and it was just disgusting. TJ and property management knew this, tried to get us to move in anyways, and were unresponsive and quite frankly rude about getting reasonable repairs done in a timely manner. We had to plead for the repairs to damage that occurred PRIOR to our move in to be addressed.

Little did I know how lucky I would become months later. It is tedious to detail the past months to the present, but I found a home and sold mine simultaneously. Kevin and his team were there the whole time. From preparing my home to sell while securing my new home, he was there through thick and thin. Never overbearing or pushy, never demanding. A man with integrity. As time went on here is what stood out: he will outwork, out-compete, and earn every bit of your sale or buy or both. He has a team in place for every step of the way. After about 300 phone calls between us over the course of 6 months, with time to reflect on the process after it is now said and done, I wholeheartedly, without pretension or hesitation recommend Kevin and the Faatz team. You will not be disappointed. I wrote this review not under duress nor for any monetary incentive. Only to give credit where credit is due. She was absolutely AMAZING in our home hunt, coordinating the whole thing while we were living out of state in VA. We had found a couple we liked but were highly competitive and we lost out in bidding wars. Enter Ciara, who not only found us our forever home (within budget!!!), but took the time to virtually walk us thru on FaceTime while we were in VA, found us a backup inspector when our original man fell thru day of, negotiated repairs to the home before purchase... even figured out a legal issue with our property sale in VA to ensure the closing on the new house. All we had to do was pick the house and sign some papers, Ciara took care of the rest. She was also just a super chill and easy person to work with to boot . Reading this back it sounds like a bot, but truthfully - Couldn't recommend her more highly.

She would answer any questions I had 7 days a week and when it was time to view potential properties she was ALWAYS 15 minutes early to meet me there. Experiencia negativa: I depended on this agency (via Zillow) to find me a home and rely on them for the walk through. Rather than telling me the house is in deep repair mode, I was set forth into a very bad deal. “Oh the structure is fine” they said. Even downplaying the home inspection. In denim cut offs and t-shirt meeting me the first time to sell me a home. How disrespectful. That was pretty much all I needed to see but I took the drive anyway. Before I was able to give an answer at our AGREED time, I was informed via phone call by my realtor that threats of suing and aggressive verbs were being thrown by the listing agent if my answer was to be no. Woah! I’m chilling in my really great downtown Syracuse hotel room watching Sunday Night Football and I get this phone call. Now, rather than use my large deposit or at least part of it, to put towards a different place, they just pocketed it. They can keep it, I’d pay them more to never do business with people like that again. Side note: the lawyer they work with was so incredibly fabulous, and positively talented and saved me from this nightmare of a deal. Thank you RC & T.

I dont know what else to do. We've retained attorneys but they say these people are likely unable to pay because they are circling the proverbial drain. BUYER BEWARE!

He was able to negotiate a below market purchase for a piece of land I wanted. Then, when life suddenly changed directions Kevin was able to sell that same piece of land for me in less than 2 weeks. I have been working with him as an investor for 2 or 3 years now and he is an invaluable member of my team!

She made it a point to mention pros and cons to each house as if she were buying it for her own family. She was extremely knowledgeable in value and the market which enabled us to purchase our dream home. She is mindful of neighborhoods and what would be a good fit for our personal lifestyle and needs. She truly went above and beyond to understand what we were looking for and never rushed us in the decision making process. Experiencia negativa: This review is for Kelly S. Loyal whose profile states that she is with Acropolis Reality Group. I do not recommend this Realty Group and the realtor, Kelly S. Loyal due to the terrible experience we had with her as our buyer’s agent. Please don’t walk—run from this agent. Her online profile is misleading, and I’m sharing our story to help others avoid what we went through. She presented nicely in her profile and in person but it was our first home and didn't do our homework or due diligence before hiring her. We learned about her the hard way and we will continue to share our experience to prevent others from going through what we did. Please read our experience before proceeding with this agent. She represented us in our first home purchase in Upstate, NY as a buyer agent. We searched for months and found the property ourselves (not her efforts) and we contacted her just to schedule a showing. She toured the property with us on a Friday evening. Afterward, we expressed interest in making an offer. She advised us to offer $8,000 over the asking price, which we did. Our offer was accepted, and we were excited, as expected. Soon after, she told us she’d be going on an RV vacation with her family and provided her travel dates. To accommodate her although we were surprised that we just got our offer accepted and she didn't express any desire to see us through to the end of the transaction. Being a family with children and understanding the importance of time with family, we supported her and even rescheduled our closing date to accommodate her vacation dates. Despite this, she left during in the middle of the transaction and did not show up to closing. We felt completely abandoned, helpless and disappointed. In addition, the attorney she referred to us also started misbehaving wanting to charge more money than we had agreed on. We had no on to fall on. Our agent had abandoned us and left for vacation after received her full commission! After closing, as if our experience wasn't enough, we arrived at our new home only to find that the lockbox was still on the door, preventing us access. We called and left voicemails for her multiple times—no response. The listing agent, Sarah Pelligrini, also ignored our calls. But we don't blame Sarah since she wasn't our agent. The onus was on our buyer representative to ensure that gained access to the home we purchased but she was long gone and enjoying her vacation while we were left outside our own home. After waiting several days, we had to hire a professional to remove the lockbox and change the locks—adding unnecessary additional cost and stress. When I followed up recently, Kelly denied any knowledge of the situation and asked for photos of the lockbox, promising to follow up. We sent her the requested photos and we never heard back. She collected full commission and left us to deal with the stress of completing the purchase transaction alone without her assistance and bearing unnecessary additional costs. She completely abandoned us after receiving her commission and never looked back or checked in on how the transaction went despite us calling her multiple times and leaving voicemails. This was a deeply disappointing experience, especially as first-time buyers. Don't use her and don't fall for her polished profile! Research agents thoroughly, ask questions, and don’t rely on a polished profile as hers. This was a very painfully disappointing experience for us and we will continue to share our story and experience with this agent. Hopefully this helps some family out there! Do your homework. Don't learn the hard way like we did! Stay away from this agent!!

Experiencia negativa: I had one of the most frustrating real estate experiences of my life working with Kevin and Amanda Faatz of Acropolis Realty Group. I recently submitted an extremely strong offer on a home they listed—$82K over asking, no contingencies, and an escalation clause up to $450K. I was fully pre-approved for a VA loan, having already sold my previous home and ready to close quickly. Despite all of that, I was told my offer was passed over due to “the type of loan” I was using. Wanting to stay competitive, I even got pre-approved for a conventional loan to remove that concern and increased my offer again. Still, I was told they were going with another offer—thousands lower, and contingent on the sale of a home that hadn’t even been listed. That unlisted home? It's being listed by Kevin and Amanda Faatz. It’s clear to me this was never about presenting the best offer to their client. I believe the Faatz team used my VA loan as justification to steer the deal toward a transaction that would personally benefit them, even if it meant their client got less favorable terms. I do not feel I was given a fair shot at this home, despite making every effort to be flexible and competitive. If you're a veteran, active-duty military, or just value professionalism and fairness, I strongly recommend avoiding this team. In my experience, they put their own financial gain above ethics, transparency, and even their responsibility to their client.

The property I live in (Isabella Lofts) is riddled with crime and the landlords ignore it, trash everywhere, and service problems constantly. The property manager Dan refuses to return phone calls and lies about building repairs and issues. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Experiencia negativa: 5th time in 4 months water has leaked from ceiling/appliance in apartment. No reparations have been made or follow up after the incident on December 13th where I slipped and fell as a result and needed medical attention. The elevator isn't even up to code.

Empty guarantees and promises, tardy, poor communication. Very difficult to get honest answers. Very confrontational when professionally brought to their attention.

Sara informed the renters who occupied the property they could leave some larger items in the home along with a considerable amount of garbage and Acropolis would pay for the removal of the items left behind. It has now been close to 2 months since I purchased the home and Acropolis has not fulfilled the trash removal. I also received a city ordinance as the renters left a considerable amount of trash on the side walk and I would have been billed $250 a day if it was not removed from the sidewalk within 24 hours. I would advise against buying a home is Sara Schiavone is representing the seller.

Very easy to work with and must be lucky since I was able to purchase the first house I made an offer on.

Experiencia negativa: I moved out of an apartment leased to me by this realty group two months ago and was contacted three days after by the financial officer Kelley B. to provide the information to have my deposit returned to me. I have yet to receive an explanation as to why. I have called multiple times to speak to said person to figure out why this is, only for all of my calls and voicemails to be ducked. Even an email with the realtor who worked with me to rent the apartment addressed to Kelley B. has not been responded to in 2 weeks with an explanation as to where my deposit was. I hadn't expected Acropolis to be so unresponsive and unwilling to return my deposit to me after making it clear to me in May that I would be receiving it.
