I saw how he worked as a friend on the back-end, and how hard he worked for his clients. My personal experience proved this was accurate as there was not a day that went by I didn't pony up a new idea, thought or concern. I had no idea the house-zilla I would encompass when purchasing my first home and Scott grounded (centered) me every time. I have no idea about the conversations that happened between him and the other seller and realtor, but as soon as there was an update, he would let me know. Any house I was interested in he would reach out and get the details and his personality won over many people. Our handyman gave great rates, he worked countless hours with various realtors and in negotiations (literally, we found a house but negotiations lasted a little over a month). His response time was fantastic, and at the end of the day, I bought my first home. Me, a millennial who has rented for 20 years, finally has a place to call my own because of Scott Hurst's assistance and guidance. This is getting long, but I didn't even mention the resources this man has in terms of contacts and knowledge! My loan people were amazing that he offered when asked, his ability to negotiate and talk with the people who did my Sewer Scope helped translate some very tricky language into something I can understand (I refuse to believe off-set isn't a made up catch-all word). Also as a queer person, Scott was able to understand and accommodate my specific needs, mainly, where are the safe places for me. Not something many people have experience with but Scott was so open to learning and validating my needs that we ended up researching towns and he made sure to keep an extra eye out. You cannot be in safer hands when looking for your home with Scott. What a guy!

When I first met her I thought, “Woah she’s so cool I might be kind of intimidated but I definitely want to be her friend.” She prioritized us, made time for us, made an effort to learn (and remember!) what we liked and didn’t like, and treated us like we were million-dollar clients. She found and encouraged us to look at the house we just closed on. To be completely honest, I wasn’t that interested in it at first. I saw other houses that caught my eye on paper more, but I trusted her judgment and looked at it anyway. She saw something on paper that we didn’t see and she knew this was the house for us. Of course, we fell in love and felt at home from the moment we walked in the door. I don’t know how she knew but we are so grateful! What sets Nicole apart is she’s deliberate when it comes to making strategically aggressive offers, while also building positive relationships with the selling agents, to win the deal. We finally won our 5th offer. But I didn’t feel totally hopeless every time we lost. With each one she helped us learn something from it and I felt like we were getting closer and closer. Once we started working with Nicole it only took exactly 1 month to find our dream home! Nicole gives sound advice, gives her expert no-nonsense opinion, and is truly a joy to work with. It feels like you’re house hunting with your friend(we are actually going to miss looking at houses with her!). We felt so supported by her and trust her so much. She guided us through an intimidating process every step of the way. She’s diligent and responsive in her communication and so clearly demonstrates her expertise and vast knowledge of real estate. This probably goes without saying, but I can’t recommend Nicole enough. If you’re trying to buy a house in the Boulder area (no matter your budget) Nicole is the one for you.
