Experiencia negativa: As a serious local cash buyer, I was shocked at how unprofessionally I was treated by Darlene Sheets when attempting to view a home listed near $1 million. Before even showing the property, she insisted I sign a “showing agreement” — a voluntary form that is not required by Florida law, but used by some agents to try and secure both sides of the commission. I’ve toured several other million-dollar homes with different listing agents and was never once asked to sign anything. When I politely asked Darlene to explain the form before I signed it, she immediately became rude, defensive, and unprofessional — turning what should have been a simple question into a hostile exchange. Her tone and attitude were so off-putting that I chose to walk out of the showing, despite being serious about purchasing the home. I genuinely feel bad for the sellers. Instead of reviewing a potential offer from me, they’re left reading a negative review — all because their listing agent prioritized paperwork and ego over professionalism and basic courtesy.
