When my brother-in-law needed to sell his home, I had a Realtor in mind who I consider to be excellent at her job and nice, too. But my brother-in-law said he knew Darlene Tremblay and wanted to list his house with her. Since I remember what it feels like to have a friend list with a competitor, I encouraged him to hire Darlene. He did just that and what a good decision it was! She not only had the house under contract in less than a week, she also staged it with what furniture was remaining in the house and had it spiffy clean for potential purchasers to see it. She kept my brother-in-law and me up to date on everything that was happening with the transaction in a timely manner. She is a terrific Realtor and if I had real estate to sell, I would hire her in a New York second!

The experience that most of us have had with real estate folks suggests a trust scale assessment competitive with a used car salesmen. Not so, Linda. Admittedly, my “house” was not the usual listing but Linda was completely unfazed. Grinning as she surveyed my “house” (a compound with 7 buildings) her mirthful reaction was, “Well, ten garage bays is a bit different for Tolland”. Seriously, Linda is one of those people you meet in life who exudes confidence and professionalism in such a way that it conveys instant honesty. When she showed my property to prospective buyers I easily perceived that they both respected her as a person and that they took what she told them as equally honest. Definitely the first step in any sale. I would have written this review and everything I said thus far because it’s true and Linda deserves having others tell you about her work. The good news is that her services as an agent paid off very well too. She sold my “compound” in one day, with multiple offers, and at more than the asking price. So, my review of Shea & Company Real Estate is, “Good people obviously bring good results”.
