Experiencia positiva: Update: Patty reached out to me and apologized for the communication error and that they would love to refund the $50 back. We worked something out and I was able to get my funds back. I greatly appreciate Patty reaching back out and willing to work with me despite the errors on both of our ends :,) My realtor had accidentally sent me the wrong application (to this company), so I applied for the house I was intending to apply for that HOMMs was NOT EVEN SELLING. I let them know roughly 12 hours after I realized my mistake. I was still charged $50 to "run my credit", but I don't understand why you would even run my credit in the first place if the home I was intending to apply for was not even an option. I sent them a follow-up email about the situation and was left on delivered. I understand that the credit score was already run, but 1, that's a great learning opportunity for you to double-check the FULL APPLICATION, and 2, I know there's some way I could be compensated, even if that means it's out of pocket.

Just completely unacceptable unprofessional behavior. An actual tenant Is having an issue that you’re supposed to fix. They want to leave the whole burden on you like it’s your house that you bought in actuality it is a rental property.

Experiencia fantástica: I was looking for a management company for my rentals. After extensive research, I narrowed down to three most promising companies. I created a spreadsheet that compare many features like are they large enough to handle my diverse properties, but small enough to have personal touches, also their fees structure, discounts, being able to use my own service persons when it is appropriate, what software they use and the responsiveness of their staff and many other factors as well. HOMM was my top choice. The big bonus is that I am able to communicate directly with the top boss, Marie, which is a big plus. However, my strategy changed. I decided to sell some of my Florida holdings instead. I have decided to chose Marie as my listing agent because of her experience, straight forward manner, very pleasant to communicate with, and having very competitive fee. Even being in Real Estate business for over 50 years, I still can learn from Marie strategically and tactically from time to time. That’s a big plus. Moreover, with her other talent as a interior designer she generously shared ideas of color, pattern, flooring with me as well as her trusted attorney, contractors. Thanks to her sharp recommendations I was able to sell one of my properties significantly above listing. But the best part that I appreciate the most is that she did not abandon me after the sale. The buyer of my property turned out to be not a pleasant person to do business with. He demanded, complained, challenged, and threatened me about some minor little things (it turned out that he’s wrong), but Marie skillfully put it to rest. That took up her time but she took care of it so I did not have to be antagonized. I am so glad that she is my listing agent.

Experiencia negativa: This review is specifically regarding Marie Negron. I purchased a home on which she was the seller’s agent. She did not turn over any keys at closing. I had to search the kitchen for the garage door opener and my realtor had to give me the key from the lockbox. What is worse is that she did not give us a mailbox key and still hasn’t, nearly a week after closing. Our agents and I have left repeated voicemails and texts and she refuses to take the situation seriously, saying that for 30$ we can get the box re-keyed. Delivery of the mailbox key at closing was IN THE CONTRACT. If you see a home listed by her, RUN the opposite direction. She is the OPPOSITE of professional.

Experiencia fantástica: For several years, I owned a property near Tampa that Marie Negron managed for me, as I lived out-of-state. Frankly, I was a total novice at the whole rental property game and I feel very lucky to have worked with Marie Negron as she was a consummate professional, very easy to work with and showed nothing but integrity. I had the same tenant throughout the entire time I owned the property and my role as "landlord" was entirely hands-off thanks to Marie's hard work. I never had a problem - rental agreements and other necessary documents were promptly taken care of, rent was collected and deposited timely, Maries office gave me ample notice whenever insurance had to be renewed or repairs were needed, transferring sensitive information to her office was handled with care and discretion through a secure portal. Marie and her team took care of absolutely everything! When I started to inquire about my interest in possibly selling the property, Marie gathered comps, advised me on my properties value, the current market at various times. When I finally decided to sell the property, with my blessing, she approached my tenant with the option to buy so that they wouldn't have to move out. When that didn't work out, she processed their move and made that whole transition very smooth. Marie prepared the property for showings and when offers started to come in, she provided me reports so I could compare offers and make the best decision. When I ran into a bit of trouble with past due HOA fees, Marie quickly sprang into action and help me avoid liens. With Maries guidance, I accepted a great offer. Marie set expectations for the escrow process and kept me informed throughout that nerve wracking period. Between the title company and HOMM Real Estate, all the necessary document were generated. They even scheduled a notary to come to my home for final signatures. It was a bit stressful for me as a 1st time home seller, but I'm so grateful to have had an excellent realtor in Marie. Unfortunately even though he says he has several years experience, in my opinion he didn't know what he was doing. Many times I felt as though I was being led blindly. There was never any guidance nor did we ever feel like he was working for us. We ended up losing the house that we dreamed of having months ago that is still sitting empty. He needs to train in social skills and well as his profession. I would not recommend him.
