Experiencia fantástica: I am relocating from Nashville Tn to Burbank Ca. I seriously looked at 18 apartments before making a decision. My agent, Jamie Peneschi with Sky Properties is an absolute GEM! She helped me tremendously with certain logistics involved in the relocation. The paperwork required to complete the application and approval process was straightforward and easy. Experiencia fantástica: I live in a building on Burbank Blvd. that was bought by Sky at the turn of the new year. I've lived here for ten years and it's a nice building, it had poor management, but nice people and a nice property and that makes up for it. I was nervous when the old owners sold to a new company, but WOW. It has been incredible. My concerns have been heard, problems have been quietly, calmly handled. It's peaceful. I don't have to rely on absentee management. There is actual responsibility. It's been remarkable. I've lived in just about every type of LA apartment over the last 30 years and I'm as jaded and ornery as it gets. But I love Sky. Never thought I'd feel that way about a property management company of all things. Thank you so much.

Experiencia fantástica: Happy to share this positive review for our current Property Manager, Rynier. Since coming on board a year ago, the response time to questions or concerns has been expedient! Experiencia fantástica: I lived on Burbank blvd and my property manager was a wonderful woman named Ferial. I had lived there while it was under Burcal property management and after the transition to sky properties. This message is solely to give praise to Ferial. In the heart of north Hollywood where the streets could often be a bit chaotic our little neighborhood was peaceful. She runs a tight ship but with good reason. Maintenance request were always addressed with urgency, when things would break I knew I could call her and have them addressed immediately and the grounds were always kept clean. These buildings had to have been built 100 years ago but she would have a cleaning crew there every week that maintained the yards and kept everything spotless . I never had any issues with bugs or anything of the sort. Sometimes due to the neighborhood you would catch an occasional coyote but again once you entered our secure building you were safe. Sometimes my packages would get returned if they weren’t able to get inside like for an after hour delivery, but I never had a package stolen and in this area that is a common occurrence, but not for our building. My neighbors were friendly, respectful and considerate. Parking was tight in this building for sure but the laundry facility was always kept clean , the pool was private and peaceful and usually well maintained throughout the year and ferial was the reason behind it all. I loved living there under her care and wish them all the very best as they proceed with sky properties. Special acknowledgement for Sergio who would occasionally do maintenance for our building who I loved and respected dearly when I lived in a seperate apartment he also did a lot of the maintenance request and was always such a kind good human. I never waited an unreasonable time for repairs and really was happy to have lived there. Thanks Ferial for a wonderful 3 years

Experiencia negativa: I had put in a maintenance request for a faulty valve in regards to my shower head. The technician that came in (2/10/26) let me know that he needed to purchase a part in order to fix the issue. He asked if he could come in the next day and I told him I would not be at home and therefore the maintenance couldn’t be done. He assured me someone would contact me in the following days in order to set up a time when I’d be available for the maintenance to continue. The next day (2/11/26) I get a knock on my door at 9 am. I received no call, text, or email about a technician coming in. This technician also had to leave to buy the part that we already knew was needed to fix the issue. I am not sure why there is no communication happening but it is incredibly frustrating and time wasting. Their lack of communication is directly impacting me and my time.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve lived here for 2 years and the difference since Sky Properties took over is night and day. Before, maintenance requests took forever or were never addressed. Now with Seymour as property manager, things actually get done. My fridge and door issues were fixed quickly, the building is cleaner, and he’s always prompt and available. Seymour genuinely cares about making this a great place to live. Sad our lease is ending soon, but I highly recommend Sky Properties to anyone looking for responsive, quality property management which is difficult to find in LA.

Experiencia fantástica: Jami Peneschi of Sky Properties did an awesome job of finding us a new nest. The first one, didn’t quite fit to our liking. The second one, very pleasing to the eye, nice layout, hits the spot! It is what we just wanted. Jami helping us with paperworks, and guiding us through the whole process was a breeze. At one point a minor glitch on the application website, but she made sure to fix it ASAP! We appreciate her professionalism. She was prompt, accommodating, reliable, and just a ray of sunshine! We throw in questions and she answers to your needs — highly recommended! For the time being, a lot of work to do moving in. Nevertheless, very excited to live in it, a place we can call home. Experiencia fantástica: When I first saw the house on Zillow, I really liked it and begged to see it — even though it hadn’t even been cleaned yet! But you gladly showed it to me anyway, and after the self-tour, I submitted my application right away. Honestly, filling out the application wasn’t easy for me, but my agent, Jami, helped me so much and made sure everything went smoothly so I could sign the lease quickly. Since I haven’t been in the country for long, dealing with paperwork was especially hard — but in the end, I found a great home, and that’s what matters, right? And it’s all thanks to Jami. Experiencia fantástica: I've had a wonderful experience with SKY Properties so far, their professionalism and responsiveness have truly stood out. Ixia Nandina in particular has been incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond to advocate on my behalf, including helping secure approval for a new AC unit in my apartment, which made a huge difference in my comfort. Throughout the process of applying for the apartment she was incredibly prompt in returning my messages and always courteous. She genuinely seems to care about resolving my concerns. It's rare to come across such dedication in property management, and I’m grateful to have someone like her as a point of contact. Experiencia fantástica: I was apartment hunting and met Ixia while touring properties. She immediately made me feel comfortable. She asked thoughtful questions, really listened to what I was looking for, and suggested a place she thought might be a good fit — one I hadn’t even considered. She was right. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was the one. Even though it was still under construction, I loved it and applied that same day. After that, Ixia was with me every step of the way. She stayed on top of things, was patient when I had questions, and helped me figure out what I needed to do. When I had trouble uploading some documents, she even let me meet her in person to hand them in, which I really appreciated. I also had a great experience touring the apartment with Kaylee. She was kind and welcoming. Overall, it felt like the whole team really cared. They went out of their way to help and even let me come back to see the place a couple of times. That made a big difference. I’m excited to be moving in at the end of this week. I truly appreciated everything and can’t wait to be part of this new community!!

Experiencia negativa: I just moved out of Whitewave, a Sky Properties building, after ten years- it was the cutest property and the neighborhood was awesome. It was great having a garage, and friends were always jealous of the beautiful view over the pool in the back. The neighbors were friendly, and I really valued being in a small (<20 unit) property for the *vibes*. Maintenance was pretty good. Any interactions with the management company, Sky Properties, were wild. The manager communicated a great many things that were counter to LA rental law. She said she would raise my rent when I changed roommates, which is illegal, and which she later denied. She said she was doing me a "favor" letting me change roommates that I was allowing SKY property to screen and vet, and that I wasn't allowed any additional changes. That is not a favor, my lease does not prohibit changing roommates. I was asked to collect and pay deposits for all roommates, which was strange. She said she was going to start charging me for plumbing repairs/clogs because I have long hair. I don't believe that's legal, either. My unit and the unit upstairs struggled with terrible plumbing problems for years because management did not want to pay for a much-needed overhaul in a vintage building. I had an apartment manager who really petitioned for the repair, and he was fired the same week I mentioned it in a Google review. Every interaction with SKY Properties is adversarial and very unpleasant. Make sure and check anything they say against LA legal resources.

Experiencia negativa: Beware of Sky Properties - Deceptive and Poorly Managed I wish I could give Sky Properties zero stars. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. First off, their apartments are incredibly run-down, with constant maintenance issues that never seem to get resolved. The management is not only unresponsive but outright hostile. They prefer to harass the good tenants while turning a blind eye to the troublemakers. What’s worse is when I posted an honest review about my experience, they had the audacity to call it fake, clearly trying to silence anyone who tells the truth about their abysmal service. This is a shady tactic to mislead potential renters. Don't be fooled by their deceptive practices. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Sky Properties at all costs.

Experiencia fantástica: Since Lynn has been managing the property we have an upgraded swimming pool area (aesthetically looks much better but also more functional), received a new air conditioner for our bedroom and a quick response over questions/concerns/requests. Experiencia fantástica: I’ve lived in a Sky Properties building for almost 2 years now and have loved every minute of it. Everyone has been wonderful to work with and the neighbors are lovely. I’ve only had a couple of minor maintenance things come up and they were addressed immediately . McKenzie and Ryan are super friendly, quick to respond and make themselves very available when we need them. The portal is user friendly and makes it easy to communicate. Great renting experience, I would highly recommend!

Experiencia positiva: We’ve only lived here a few months but so far, so good. The location is great, the architecture is really fun and all of the neighbors are really nice. The company actively takes steps to renovate and McKenzie is very friendly, level-headed and a great person to talk to. The maintenance crew is extremely friendly and the owner’s husband stops by and asks how everyone is doing. They perform in-home walk-thru’s twice a year to make sure everything is safe. My partner also loves that she is able to make the outside balcony a beautiful and safe place where she can pursue some light gardening. All that being said some things to think about: - There is only one (paid) washer and dryer for the whole building and it’s not enough. I’ve had to delay my laundry more than a couple times. There is, however, a laundromat only a couple blocks away which is nice for bulky items. - There is no clothesline so if you want to hang dry your clothes you’re stuck doing it inside which is a pain. - They can really work on their communication regarding construction schedules (more communication is better than too little when it comes to waterproofing chemicals - it’s a safety issue!) - If you have a work order with more than one item on it I would recommend breaking them out into separate requests As it stands now this property management company is really good with some extra bright notes: specifically McKenzie and all the workers who are really nice and helpful. The kitchen is beautiful and they are pet friendly. There is a real human element to this place and company that I really appreciate. If they could bring back the clothesline and communicate a bit more this place would be even better!

Slumlord would be too good of a name for them been on their property for three months cooking no hot water no heat turn them into the city. Still nothing has been done. They keep telling me that they’re gonna adjust my rent and the stuff that I lost because of their negligence still nothing, do not rent from them

Experiencia negativa: Sky properties is your typical friendly and nice staff before you sign then ignores you once you're locked into your lease. Our building has issue after issue after issue that they band aid approach fix and then ignore calls from you. Our only washing machine was broken for close to 2 months before they actually fixed it, our plumbing is constantly leaking and spewing sewage in the parking area, our trash pick up has been missed 6 times this year leaving overflowing trash in our building and thats just to list a couple issues. I would avoid and Sky Property buildings like the plague they are not working in good faith. Also Yasenya is super rude and passive aggressive. She never takes a professional stance on issues with the building, just says things are out of her control. Not to mention they consistently have raised rent the maximum allowable amount which makes this place way over priced and not even close to a good value for the neighborhood.

Experiencia fantástica: Finding a new home is hard enough but doing that after moving from another country is a whole other level of stress. But having one of their property manager McKenzie working things out were refreshingly easy and helpful, which was why we decided to apply for one of their apartments, on top of a very nicely setup kitchen ideal for my wife who's a chef. There are no such thing as the perfect apartment or house, but it's the little things and human touches that make it worth being part of any community.

Experiencia negativa: BEWARE - 113 N Parish Apt L. may look nice but the floors are INSANELY squeaky and thin. The worst neighbors live below. Heard them screaming at each other at all hours in the AM for months and months. Management didn’t do anything. Also, they will pound on the ceiling if you walk around the apartment due to the squeaky floors. I feel so sorry for anyone that would move here. Left after a year despite all the extra moving costs. Management will also raise your rent after the first year the maximum possible which is just greedy. Oh and there is a mysterious bill for the water and power for the complex, in addition to your own water and power bill. This is to pay for the water for the washing machine that is coin operated. The bill is upwards of $100 a month so be aware, this will add to the cost of your rent. There is no transparency with this as well. We are all just forced to accept that the overall water and power bill for the building must total over a thousand dollars a month which is crazy. They do not supply a bill for the building only an individual bill with your portion due. Lastly, when you do move out, they will nickel and dime for everything. Mandatory to pay for professional cleaners, repaint minor scuffs from light use on all walls or there is a sizable deduction from security deposit. This isn’t in the lease but they say it’s mandatory. It’s a shame, I liked the apartment a lot and thought I’d be there for a while, but it was my worst experience renting ever and I’ve been renting a long time. The staff is friendly, but it just doesn’t make up for the rest of it. I hope this is helpful if anyone is on the fence about this management company and this apartment, specifically. I wish I new before I signed the lease.

Experiencia negativa: UPDATE 2/6/2022 First, I would like to say both Carmen and Angel are great at responding and helping out with any concerns about maintenance/property in general. They have been helpful the entire time since I moved in. However, I have an issue with the property manager Lynn, who not only takes weeks to respond, but when she does, she responds at odd times such as 10:00 pm. Also, unprofessional responses that make me wonder how she is a manager. I should not feel like I’m bothering her if I have questions regarding anything relating to the apartment/sky Propeties. The recent change about trash charges ($50) was something I wanted to fully understand in order to avoid fees but instead I got her personal opinion on the matter and I feel like I cannot contact her due to her unprofessional and delayed responses. Other than that I will like to state sky Propeties has been a good place to live in. UPDATE 10/29/22 I have contacted the new manager in charge and after 3 weeks and multiple attempts, I have not received a response from anyone about a SAFETY HAZARD in my apartment. I even explained I have a baby and he can’t be exposed to whatever chemicals leaking from the AC unit, yet no one has contacted me. This is also the third time they come to “fix” the AC and I am still not getting the problem solved. Seems like reviews are the only way to get attention from management so I will be waiting for a response. ————————————————————— We are only able to communicate with management via text because everyone has a day off during the week but somehow it is our fault as tenants to not be able to talk to someone and discuss the charges being forced on us. We have reached out multiple times with no one answering the phone and the person who we spoke to when we signed our contract never has an answer so we have to wait for other people who never end up reaching out. Why is it that we have to send screenshots of our lease agreements to those in charge? We have the information but it feels unfair that we are treated this way as tenant when we have already had issues with this company overcharging us and then giving us back our money because they are simply not organized. As tenants, we hope someone reaches out to us with an explanation as to why our charges are different than to what we agreed on when we signed our lease. We want to be taken serious and stop these back and forth texts that just create stress over our lease/payments.

Experiencia positiva: Just to update my previous review because microwave has been replaced last month before Christmas after 4 weeks of waiting. Just be aware that if some appliance goes wrong , it could be quite a while to get it fixed. Considering there is thanksgiving in between, you be the judge whether 4 weeks is too long or ok. Really wished they have some temporary solution like an old spare microwave for us to use while we were waiting the new one to come.

Experiencia negativa: I am a current tenant with Sky and myself and my neighbors have several complaints that have yet to be addressed. My neighbors car and several packages have now been stolen - these were two separate occasions. And upon asking Sky for any kind of communication or a replacement of the gate clickers in order to ensure the people who stole the vehicle can't just waltz back onto the property, has been complete silence. We very often have no hot water, not sure if this is our neighbors as well, but based on the "hot water is a non-emergency" email, meaning the company will not respond if it's past regular business hours - I'm guessing that it's not just us. We pay for hot water, if this is happening consistently, what is the solution? Jose is a gem, otherwise, no one at this company has been of any help to us, and makes our legitimate concerns feel like a burden.

Don’t waste your time applying or reaching out, you won’t ever hear back and the property will magically be off the market. All owners, avoid using this company! They will lose you money and time. Krissy Mamaat Or Krissy should change professions to something that doesn’t require communication skills and or following up. Even if the unit looks nice, be weary! Dodged a bullet, hope you do too

Experiencia fantástica: I had the luck to rent a place from sky properties, the manager of the building, Dror Soref, was absolutely wonderful more than just the manager, he helped me tremendously as I was only 18 years old and a french foreigner who was quite lost in how everything in the states worked. He helped in terms of ease to move in, papers to show, was so incredibly kind whenever I had questions (and there were quite a few), even if I was in need of something that had no regard to the building - he would always so graciously do his best to help me sort my problem. Incredibly efficient as well, if there was something wrong, there would always be a fix within a couple of hours. More than that I truly felt safe and cared for when I lived there purely because of him - when I had to leave Los Angeles abruptly he made sure that I was not to worry about anything and took charge in making sure I had no issues - always asking how I felt, which is really not something everyone would do. I write this review as he is truly a person Ill never forget and he deserves so much happiness and success going on. Thank you Dror.

Experiencia fantástica: There was a water leak in the apartment above mine and it was causing water build up in my wall in my master bathroom. The Sky Properties staff was onsite swiftly. Roshelle from the office was in constant contact with me throughout the entire process. She reassured me that everything would be cared for and she made arrangements to work around my schedule. I can't say enough how professional and Empathetic Roshelle was to my situation and helping to get it fixed. Mike and Luis were the gentlemen that came and fixed the issue. This was a large job and they worked diligently over a few days to get the job complete and make me feel safe in my apartment. They did not hesitate to come early and on a weekend day to complete the work. They left the area clean with no sight of the tremendous amount of work they had to do to pull the wall apart, fix the pipes, and replaster it. My Bathroom looks like it was never touched. Experiencia positiva: Our maintenance manager, Angel, is always very nice and professional in fixing any building problems and general maintenance. REVIEW EDIT: My issue is with Sky Properties. We have had a significant water leak in our bathroom for a week now (if not longer) and nobody has come or even called about fixing it. Angel comes every Wednesday to fix things, but what if something happens on a Thursday that needs immediate attention? We have no number to call, no email. Also, our pilot light has been going out recently, and on chilly morning it can get really cold and we have an infant. If it's not Wednesday, how can we get somebody to light it? We would do it ourself but it's very old and requires a ladder and special tools that we don't have. We pay such high rent and have no way to turn on heat and a tub spewing water. Lastly, you guys emailed us from a 'donotreply' email address asking for proof of renters insurance (which we've sent to you several times before). Where do we email that to? How do I get in contact with anyone? This is maddening.

Experiencia negativa: I am a current tenant and it is very disappointing to be paying high rent for a place that can’t be up to par. Not only am I speaking for myself, but also for my fellow neighbors. The garage gate has been broken/missing for over 8 months now. That has resulted in a break in, which resulted in theft. I have proof of. The building should consider security cameras. Along with installing a new gate as soon as possible. The laundry is old and smells of dogs. You’d think collecting all that rent they would put newer machines and service the laundry room. Mind you, I pay for community used areas that is part of the lease agreement but I don’t see what I’m even paying for. They demolished all the common walkway flooring/coating without prior notice and left it as is. All the dirt and dust from that ends up in my house which I have to clean more often than usual. There has also been leaking pipes in the garage that haven’t been fixed. The dirty toilet water from the pipes always ends up on my car. With all these issues, they have the audacity to increase my rent by $200. I wrote to them via email privately and I never got a response. This is very upsetting and unfair treatment.

Experiencia negativa: The below are facts. 1. 10% increase in rent after initial lease. 2. Parking gate has been broken in the open position for months, and video has been taken of people coming in and checking for unlocked cars. Sky will not fix, even though we pay for gated parking in rent. 3. Be ready to do your own maintenance as they will only come by once a week. 4. Upstairs is hardwood with no rugs, so it is very loud and you may hear upstairs neighbors walking around. 5. Washers work very poorly, frequently have to rewash, costing money since it is coin operated.

Experiencia fantástica: The management company had a big big water line project at our apartment complex at Cahuenga Place apartments. It took several nights to get it done, it was very well organized. We did have some water problems after the project was completed, but the maintenance staff work at it until the problems were fixed, The maintenance staff is always very professional and efficient at this complex. Experiencia fantástica: This review is for Matt our Appartment manager who responded to my request for maintenance. He assigned Victor to check on the kitchen disposal and called Hydrojet to fix the water overflow in the kitchen sink. Victor showed up on time next day, looked at the disposal and found out it was leaking under the sink! Thankfully I had a container under it otherwise it would have been a mess!! Victor replaced the disposal and did a clean job. We still needed help of the Hydrojet serviceman who opened the clogged pipes! Thank you to Matt for his quick response and to Victor for fast and clean job as always.

Experiencia fantástica: SKY Properties has been managing our apartment building in Beverly Hills for about six months now. It was the best change the property owner could have made because the last management company was a joke. I have found SKY to be highly responsive, professional, accommodating, communicative and very understanding. On top of it, our manager Brennan has been very nice and wonderfully pleasant to deal with. My maintenance requests are handled in a timely manner and in accordance with the law. They have made a terrific intermediary between several long-standing and new tenants in this building and a very unfriendly, unpleasant, miserly property owner. As far a property management companies go, it really doesn't get better than this (and I've lived in a LOT of apartments in Southern California). Our quality of life has improved here as a result of them managing our property and for that I am grateful.

Experiencia negativa: This place is a complete scam. All the good reviews on here are from management and other workers in the company. They have An American idol reject managing multiple units & there’s also roaches. The building is not up to code. There are tons of reviews about them being a scam on the internet that they have tried their best to suppress. This place will tell you anything for a good pay day.

Experiencia negativa: RENTERS BEWARE!! This place is a scam owned by a larger subsidiary company. The star realtor, Brennan, is NOT LICENSED at all by the state and conducts most of their business. These people are not a real business and are looking to scam the next.

Experiencia negativa: I inquired about a unit that was in West Hollywood. I went through the credit check process, paying the 45 dollar fee and was approved for the unit. Upon reading the lease for signing, I found out that parking would be an issue, because they had no available parking spaces. The area in question would be quite difficult to find parking after midnight. I work late hours and finding parking during the day at a permit only area parking is impossible. Which I was told is only a few streets down. Meaning I won't find available parking because everyone is usually home. I could not accept the apartment and did not sign the lease even though I was approved with deposit. Moving forward, I felt attitudes shifted quickly. Instead of the Building Manager helping me anymore, she sent her boyfriend to hand me my deposit back, after only dealing with the building manager prior to that day, even through her ongoing busy schedule. I called Sky Properties because Bre’s phone was going straight to voice mail, when calling to inquire about the cancelations, after speaking with her on arrangements to pick up my deposit within 2 days. I spoke to a person named Michelle at Sky Properties letting her know about my issue with parking and my deposit, and she told me about other options, as they have more than one building they manage and she would speak with Bre. I never received a call back from Michelle on Friday, May 28, 2021. I assumed she would call me the next day because she didn’t contact me by 6 p.m. on the day she provided. I gave it an entire day and called Sky Properties back and was told she will be there Monday. The guy I spoke to said he could not speak for the properties because he was not with the leasing team, after inquiring about the property on Normandíe via Sky Properties website. On Monday, I texted Sky Properties and the same guy responded. Which I have made 7 attempts from texts to phone calls and have received no response, not even from the leasing team and it’s Tuesday evening. Now, I no longer see the Normandie vacancy on the website and when reopening the vacancy on their webpage provides an error message. Well there goes 45 dollars.

Experiencia fantástica: Rashelle is OUTSTANDING !! I’m 73 and disabled and had a problem with our Luxor packages. I’d picked up 1 package but had to go back to pick up another, but meanwhile I’d closed the door and the code wouldn’t open it a second time. I called Luxor to get another code and close my account, so that deliveries would be left outside my apartment in the future. Unfortunately they just closed my account and I couldn’t get my 2nd package. After trying for days to get another code from Luxor failed, I called Sky Properties to see if someone could help me and thankfully got Rashelle on the line. By this time I was beyond frustrated - I was in tears. The package I needed was a shopping cart that would allow me to go to the market for food (up to then I’d had a volunteer shop for me during Covid) but now needed to shop on my own. Rashelle took the time to calm me down and it was obvious that she really cared. She asked about other things in my life, treating me with real heart and helping me to feel not so alone. Rashelle helped me to FINALLY get another code and the next day had José bring the package to my door! I think you should know that you have more than just a good employee in Rashelle - you have an exemplary one - someone with real heart who will go the extra mile both to solve problems and truly care about the people she is hired to help. In Rashelle you have a real gem!
