Experiencia negativa: While this pertains to a transaction to a Herron Realtor prior to his joining the agency, clients need to be aware. I once trusted this man - thoroughly. It is a long read, but may help someone. I purchased a home from this agent, Jon Jackson, when he was with Re/Max Professionals working under his sister-in-law, Missy Zecher on June 30, 2023. By the way, below, AI removed the part about me being diagnosed with Stage 4 Triple Negative Metastatic Breast Cancer just a few short months after moving in. I am trying to get back home to family for support. I wrote to Jon and copied Missy and Mike Harrell from the title company, Abstract Trust Title, who also deserves mention, the following: I am writing to formally address serious concerns arising from material representations made during my purchase of the property located at 3582 210th Path, Lake City, Florida 32024 (formerly known as 21068 CR 137, Lake City, Florida 32024) in 2023. At the time of sale, you represented that the roof was approximately four years old and free of material defects, aside from minor issues involving loose or rusted screws. However, during my current sale process, the buyer’s inspection identified multiple significant deficiencies with the roof, including indications that the work was unpermitted. Upon reviewing my original documentation, I also confirmed that the 4-point inspection conducted at the time of purchase explicitly rated the roof condition as “Unsatisfactory.” This directly contradicts the representations made and raises substantial concerns regarding the accuracy and completeness of the information provided. Additionally, within a few months of taking ownership, the septic system failed. When I raised this issue at the time, I was advised that such a condition would not have been covered by the inspection. In light of the current inspection findings and standard disclosure obligations, that position appears inconsistent and further underscores concerns regarding omissions and/or misrepresentation. It is also important to emphasize that you acted in a dual agency capacity, representing both the buyer and the seller in this transaction. This imposed heightened fiduciary duties, including the obligation to ensure full transparency, accurate disclosure of known or reasonably discoverable defects, and the avoidance of any material misrepresentation. As a direct and foreseeable result of these issues, I have incurred significant damages. Most notably, as of Friday, May 15, 2026, the pending sale was canceled after the buyer declined to proceed due to these conditions and the associated repair timeline. This represents a direct financial loss, in addition to the substantial costs now required to remediate the property in order to re-market it. There is a clear and reasonable basis to conclude that these damages—including repair costs and the loss of the pending sale—are directly attributable to material omissions and/or misrepresentations associated with the original transaction. Accordingly, I am formally demanding that you and RE/MAX provide full reimbursement for the costs necessary to remedy these conditions, as well as compensation for losses incurred as a result of the canceled sale. While I remain open to resolving this matter without escalation, please be advised that I am prepared to pursue all available legal remedies should a satisfactory resolution not be reached. Needless to say, NONE OF THEM responded or tried to make good on this transaction. When I make an effort to hold the responsible parties ACCOUNTABLE, I get burned again, as it would appear that the amount I am trying to sue for is not enough for the Real Estate Attorneys anywhere from Orlando to Lake City to take on. What a sad, UNETHICAL world we live in. BE VERY CAREFUL!!!

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT BUY OR SELL THROUGH THIS BROKERAGE. I am a buyer and this firm was representing the seller. We agreed on terms, went through the inspection and appraisal process, and were set to close this last Friday. On Tuesday evening, Natalia Vaughn with Herron (selling agent) called my agent to tell us “the seller has no funds to bring to closing”. This means they agreed on terms almost a month prior that they could not fulfill. The selling agent obviously didn’t get a loan payoff, didn’t advise her clients what they were agreeing to financially, and didn’t guide them through the process properly. On top of all this, when the seller gave me a tour of the home he informed me that the selling agent (Natalia Vaughn) was a relative of his or his wife which was never disclosed on any paperwork. After finding out they didn’t have the money, I proposed that I would pay a few extra thousand to come to a compromise and requested the selling agent also lower her commission since it was close to 8k and she was representing her family. She flat out refused. She didn’t propose any solution to the issue. Just threw her hands up like “oh well”. Because of this, I am now out $1300 between inspection and appraisal fees and my only recourse to get the money back would be to take her clients to small claims court. On top of all this, it also cost me extra money to push my current lease for another month or two while I find a different house. Highly suggest using a different firm as there are many great ones out there. This is just not one of them.

Experiencia negativa: We scheduled a confirmed showing with agent Bradley Fisher and drove three hours to see the property. Unfortunately, when we arrived, he did not answer calls or messages and never showed. While we understand unexpected situations can arise, a simple cancellation notice would have saved us the trip. What concerns us more is that other buyers have reported similar experiences with this agent, which suggests this may not be an isolated incident. This company has potential, but consistency and professionalism from its representatives are key. I hope management takes steps to address this, as it reflects not only on the agent but also on the company’s reputation with both buyers and sellers.
