Experiencia negativa: As a Board Member I can share that our service from Spectrum has been seriously lacking. We’ve reported countless issues to them (that they should’ve been noticing on their site drives but they don’t) and they have yet to get them repaired. Sprinkler issues, low water in our ponds, following though with deed violations, etc. are just a few examples. Because of this residents are having to step up to get the grounds taken care of, paying out of their pockets, yet we are paying Spectrum. They are very expensive with their fees incidentally. It’s excuse after excuse from them at this point. Our residents are frustrated that they can’t reach anyone when they call in. Instead they’re diverted to the San Antonio office. We likely won’t be renewing with Spectrum based on how it’s been going. If you’re a Board Member looking for an HOA Management company you’re welcome to contact me for further information.

I operate a solar company out of Austin, Texas and we are constantly working with different HOA's. In most cases, submitting an architectural review application to an HOA can come with a lot of disappointment. This especially relates to the level of service I can usually expect to receive and the unnecessarily long wait time it often takes for the approval process. Jay, with Spectrum Association Management, exceeded my expectations by providing next day approval on an HOA application that we just submitted around midnight the day prior. Common areas are being maintained much better and the codes we all agreed to when purchasing property are being enforced much better. Henry Stewart, the main contact, is very responsive and professional.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I have lived on Key Allegro for almost four years. The Island of Key Allegro is managed by a man named Chris Veatch. On many occasions he has come to our rescue. The most recent occasion was when we had an attempted robbery. We were out of town. Sent a text to Chris at 4:30 in the afternoon. He was at our house before the police arrived and oversaw everything. During the freeze last winter in February, Chris went over and checked our perimeter. He turned off the water before we had any heavy damage. A pipe had burst. It could have been bad. We also called him about a neighbors door being wide opened and he was able to secure their home before any damaged occurred. It was the front door of a house on one of the streets that is facing the bay. The owner lives in Houston. This was not any easy feat to accomplish. Some of the home owners are hard to track down! We lived for 35 years in several different gated communities in San Antonio. Chris Veatch has done more for us in four years, than we experienced in 35 years of living in these communities. We feel our community is run better and a safer place due to his oversight. I could go on but hopefully I’ve made my point. Thank you Chris!

They are truly a full service company that takes the daily stress away. Their current Brank Manager, Henry Stewart, is a great asset to the company and very professional.

After the HOA management changed to Spectrum, we’ve had nothing but problems in regards to customer service, billing and overall maintenance of the subdivision. I’ve spoken with the management on numerous occasions and the lack of professionalism and courteousness is well below standard in comparison to the previous HOA management. I could not ever advise purchasing a home with an HOA who is managed by this company.

Experiencia negativa: The billing I got was a joke. I love in County Club Estates and unfortunately they "hired" spectrum as "bill collector". They sent payment invoices to me that were not mine, have accounting practice no one would ever put up with. Statement of my account had numerous disputed charges, they don't even have a record of my payments.

He has been a guiding light for us in understanding all the rules and regulations back then, through the storm, and now with the transition to Spectrum Management. Experiencia fantástica: My wife and I recently purchased a lot in Key Allegro where we plan to build a vacation home. Based on the location of the lot there were many building restrictions that needed to be addressed in order to design what we wanted while staying in compliance. I met with Chris Veach who was instrumental in going over and explaining these requirements in layman’s terms. His knowledge, availability, and assistance made our design process easy. From our first meeting through our initial plan submission, Chris was right on top of things and kept us in formed of progress. I feel Chris is a very valuable asset to the Key Allegro community.

We had talked to the then HOA about trimming the trees and it never got done. Now since Henry is in charge he has done so many things.
