This was a long distance estate sale of our family home with lots of logistics, grief and family dynamics involved. We interviewed a number of potential real estate agents. Diana was the most thorough in noticing both the things we might want to or should fix abut also what made the house attractive to potential buyers. She helped us figure out the optimal time to sell but when we blew by that target by months, she told us that the best time is when we are ready. Finally we handed the house over to her. Diana counseled against staging for a century old house but when I expressed doubts, she included virtual staging for some rooms in the photos. She works with a wonderful photographer. The house was just on the market when disaster hit. The furnace, for which we had just gotten a tune-up and clean bill of health, started turning off instead of just lowering the temperature at night. I expected a trip to Yakima but Diana took care of everything. She went over every morning to turn the heat back on and took care of the several repair visits until the furnace was functioning as good as new. Throughout, Diana kept in such good contact with us. We had a text group with my siblings and she and I also had phone calls or text conversations whenever needed. She gave good advice and was amazing at offering emotional support. And, when necessary, Diana fought for us and she fought for the house. I cannot recommend her enough.

Experiencia fantástica: Our relocation from Texas to the Northwest started a couple of years ago when we reached out to our friend and Windemere Broker Suzanne Elstad to help us search. Suzanne patiently and diligently helped us learn about residential real estate in the Willamette Valley communities we were considering. When we narrowed our search to Southwestern Washington, Suzanne who is not licensed in Washington, introduced us to her Windemere colleague Janet Allen to help us. We arrived in Vancouver in September 2023 with the complication that our house in Texas had not sold. Janet understood our situation and took us under her wing to find a SW Washington community and house that fit us. Our house in Texas sold in November and our search continued through the winter when listings were scarce. Janet coached us through the frustration of the slow season by encouraging us to keep exploring communities and discovering communities that appealed to us. When listings picked up this Spring, her research skills were invaluable uncovering important details about the properties we were considering. After a couple of close calls, she helped us purchase just the right house for us. During the purchase process she referred us to inspectors, roofers, carpet installers and general contractors which was especially important to us because we were new to the area. Experiencia negativa: I bought a house being sold by Chelsea Mack, who works here. It was a complete and utter hassle, 90% of which was her fault. She did nothing to prepare the home for sale and lied about it being financible. She drug her feet for every little thing and had no clue what she was doing. It took over three months to close because nothing was getting done! When she was supposed to get paperwork signed by her client, she went to a bar! My realtor had to take over in some of her tasks just to get to closing, for which she "forgot" about ordering the final inspection! We missed out on having two holidays and two birthdays in our new home, all because of her! I may be on the buying side of it but the home I bought had been on the market for almost a year before I looked at it, which is ridiculous. She did nothing to help them sell or get ready for a sale. I'm so incredibly angry at her and will be for a long time. NEVER use Windermere and NEVER use Chelsea Mack!
