In the beginning Matt was just a referral from a family friend, now, Matt is Family.

She was integral in our process of moving across country during the pandemic, with an infant and market that was like no other time. She videoed endless properties, worked off our time zone even if it was when she should’ve been sleeping, and even was able to get a slow HR department to forward employment documentation. I combed reviews and was pleasantly surprised to find the professional, customer service oriented Matt Lenza Team. Matt quickly responded to the website form I'd filled out. He called and listened to what I wanted and required in a home and after getting a pulse on my family's needs and wants he connected me with Valerie Miller - a team member that I couldn't have been more pleased with. Valerie was great! She returned my emails quickly (even the late night and early morning messages), answered my phone calls when available and if she was busy, she returned the calls in a timely manner. On the rare occasion she didn't have an answer at her fingertips - she'd get back to me. All the while Matt was always accessible. Experiencia negativa: I was in the process of buying a house in Wilmington DE. Matt Lenza was the seller’s realtor and Paul Enderle of Long & Foster Real Estate in Greenville DE was mine. The deal didn’t work out, so I requested the return of my earnest money deposit via my realtor Paul Enderle on 9/4/20. Paul states that he sent a release form to Matt Lenza 9/9/20, and today is 10/7/20 and I still haven’t received my money. I’ve contacted my realtor multiple times and he forwards me emails of contact with The Matt Lenza Team but none of this communication has resulted in me receiving my money back. This is unbelievably bad business, and this is not how you treat potential home buyers; this isn’t how you treat anyone. I guess waiting patiently and trying to handle this amicably isn’t what Matt Lenza’s team wants so I guess I will have to elevate my grievance to the next level. I’m extremely disappointed in this company.

Growing up in North Wilmington, Matt was extremely knowledgable about the area, what we should expect with our budget and the local comps. We were shocked when he listed our old home for way above what we thought it was worth and amazed when it sold $15k above that! When we found the home we loved, we offered asking price but Matt worked in an escalator for $10k more to show the listing agent we wouldn't be beat. We got the house (for asking price) and are so happy with how Matt treated us and got us a great deal on both sides. Matt was great at explaining the pros and cons of each prospective house and estimates on future upgrades. He's funny, ambitious and passionate about finding you the dream of your home for the best deal possible.
