Experiencia negativa: In my opinion, they're just running a SCAM! They get you to pay for applications with no intent to actually follow through. First they REQUIRED my son to fill out an application. He's an adult but he's also Autistic. Then they pressured me, insisting I had to pay the deposit before midnight. Still wanting me to pay the deposit BEFORE reading the lease. I refused so they put Sheila on the phone to intimidate me. Then they couldn't get the lease to me until the next day. But insisted I pay the deposit after reading it and it needed to be done by 3pm. Sheila informed me in that call that there were people living directly behind the rental house. I specifically asked that question when viewing the property and was told NO, that it was the owners storage. The house was listed with 12 acres in the description BUT none of that went with the house. They LIE! If you're smart, AVOID using this realty company!

Experiencia negativa: I had 2 appointments both were canceled then u send me a message day before needing to cancel then today I wasn’t given the correct address called for the correct address then told me to call on Monday to reschedule another appointment no thank you have given me the runaround from jump taking my services Where there is professionalism and there is good communication because of communication it sucks

Experiencia negativa: 0 stars with my experience with Lochhead. We signed a lease with Victoria who worked at Lochhead. She quit so Lochhead said our lease wasn't valid anymore. They dont fix anything. Our house had mold and had water in the walls. Had so many water issues and issues in general. Had trees on power lines and when it rained would lose power. Avoid this place.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I have been in one of Lochhead Properties houses for about 2 years now. First of all I just want to say it was INCREDIBLY hard to find a property management company that would rent to us. We both have backgrounds, we both now work in the substance use disorder industry - I do admissions and my husband is director of operations for a withdrawal management program at a hospital- all of this to say none of that mattered to other places we applied. Like most places things have not been perfect. (We haven’t either) but one night in particular at 8PM I frantically called because my toilet was like gurgling and rising and both toilets are connected (there are only 2 toilets in the house) and both wouldn’t flush and were rising I was freaking out I COULD NOT BE WITH OUT A FREAKING TOILET so I called the number for them and the guy that answered sent out a plumber, (it’s now about 9:30PM) the plumbers were amazing! They worked for about an hour and a half and although they couldn’t fix the problem they gave me the number to the city and walked me through the lingo of what to say ( I had no idea what I was saying or what it meant) and I even called him back at like 11pm to have him talk to the city which he answered to help him find something and it was resolved! Thank you so much for fixing things in a timely manner and listening to our concerns and taking a chance on people !

This made us feel cared for. Upon touring the home we could instantly see ourselves there and we were pleased with how helpful and patient they were. The office staff was amazing! The home was affordable and in an amazing area. We love it and hope to be here a long time.

Experiencia negativa: How can a company tell you that they don’t really look at your credit score because of something that was on my credit 7 years ago for a repossessed car not rental history im good on rental history never late what’s more important my credit cards or my rent as long as we pay are Rent on time why do you trip on credit you guys suck!!!!!!

Lochhead goes above and beyond. Price per sqft is really good, the customer service/accessibility to help when needed is beyond and above anything we've ever experienced anywhere else. This team responds to calls and concerns immediately. They answer questions about local needs or resources, and they have done this every time with a smile and laughs. The house we are renting is great. Hardwood floors, brand new fencing without holes or falling issues. Great neighborhood and close to schools and shopping needs. We would recommend Lochhead to anyone looking for a rental company to lease from, or use for property leasing. They are FANTASTIC!

Experiencia fantástica: My husband, 3 children and I have lived in our home since August 2019. Our experience so far has truly been wonderful. My dishwasher broke, and they had a brand new one installed within 2 hours of me reporting it. Our back fence fell down due to a storm. They came out the next day to temporarily fix it, and had it replaced about a week later. Considering they had other properties to attend to and needed to measure, have the gas company come out, and purchase materials, I feel that was pretty quick. My sink started leaking this morning, and not even an hour after reporting it I was told they would be having someone come look at it for us. When we were looking for homes, we found many in this same price per month, but they were all much smaller and not near as nice as this one. So I would say their prices are very fair. The office staff and maintenance staff have both always been extremely friendly and helpful. We saw a few bad reviews when researching Lochhead, but also saw many good reviews. Admittedly I was a bit nervous because of the bad reviews, but we’ve been extremely happy so far, and I don’t have any complaints. I would recommend renting with Lochhead.

They helped manage the repairs after a major hailstorm we had. They we're very communicative and accommodating throughout our stay there. They have a friendly and helpful office staff.

Experiencia fantástica: I had the luxury of applying online. It was truly 1st come 1st to be served. They were thorough and very professional throughout the entire process, from beginning to the end. After being told that I was qualified, everyone whom I encountered or had dialogue with was very nice; helpful; and really interested in helping me find my dream home. They explained the entire lease to me, from front to back to make sure that I had a clear understanding. I'm looking forward to being there as long as they allow me. So if your looking for a new place, please give Lochhead properties a try. Trust me, I'm not easily impressed, When I say that their awesome, you had better believe it.

Experiencia fantástica: My son got a new job and we had to move to an area where Lochhead had no available rentals, so we ended up renting directly from an owner. What a NIGHTMARE! We had issue after issue left unresolved till the house had a sewer pipe collapse. At that time we were released from our contract and THANK GOODNESS, Lochhead had a rental that was perfect for us right where we needed it to be! It felt just like we were coming home. They give you the very best rental experience, unlike some big corporations who couldn't care less if you have a decent place to live. Sheila, Sandra, Victoria, and all the rest of the Lochhead group have always been there for my family and I for the last several years we have rented through their firm. If there is any issue with the home, Randy will make sure it is taken care of ASAP, he KNOWS what he is doing, and he keeps you informed! They are professionals and know their job. They are warm, friendly, and, above all, HONEST and make sure our concerns are addressed in a quick and efficient manner. My family and I will always look to Lochhead first for all our rental needs. Just a quick update, Miguel showed up today with a brand new stove. He not only installed it, he checked the outlet and made sure everything was working 100% before he left. You just cant get better service than this!

Experiencia negativa: No matter how clean you leave property. They have loop holes to to charge enough and trump up the feed to keep your deposit. Women in office are very nice.

Experiencia negativa: I see now that I should've checked the reviews before calling. It's unfortunate that this is an ongoing, seemingly permanent problem, but Debbie has yet again run off another potential tenant. You can tell the conversation won't go well from the first moment she answers and you hear the snippy, clipped tone of her voice. Her first move is to immediately direct you to the website so she doesn't have to deal with you. I guess you called by accident. By taking the time to pick up the phone and dial in the number there must not have been any legitimate reason you required human interaction rather than a screen. When you don't get out of her way by hanging up as she clearly wants you to, she is very condescending and rude, as many reviewers have stated, and will continue to try to direct you to the website rather than listen and answer simple questions. I can only suspect that she is, or personally knows, the owner of this LLC, and therefore cannot or will not be replaced, otherwise she would not still be answering the phones and running off who-knows how many more clients who don't take the time to leave a review. (Which is usually me. This is in fact the first review I've ever written.) If she's really that wonderful at her job, I highly suggest formal education in Customer Service Representative training, or prohibiting her from answering the phones. If she owns or partially owns the company, I suggest hiring a receptionist to manage the phones so she doesn't have to. It is seriously damaging your business. As a note to readers: always be very careful and wary of any LLC companies you go into business with. By using this company to rent out your home, or by signing a lease to rent from them, you are signing a contract and entering into business with them. An LLC is a Limited Liability Company, meaning the owners are not fully liable for the business's actions. They can also be created with less than $500 in assets, and you would likely be needing to sue for more than that if you were to file. If that's all the company has in assets, that's all you get. Doesn't sound like it would even cover the legal costs. I am NOT an attorney, so verify this and all legal information and documents with a lawyer. However, based on the treatment I received and the personal testimonies I have read in reviews, I would personally not trust this company with my business. Good luck to all.

Experiencia negativa: I went to hell and back with this company everything was wrong from the beginning and I should have took that as a sign me my wife my daughter and my son moved into Balch Springs in a five bedroom house the rent was extremely high the real estate agent was just concerned about her commission pay unfortunately I was in a bad predicament so I had to move and I decided to use Lockhead realty worst mistake ever they move me into a neighborhood with a lot of people that do ice methamphetamine the real estate agent assured me it was a wonderful neighborhood they were just trying to get the sale and the house rented I had problems since day one with my tires being stabbed stuff being stolen from my property and Nonstop Action going on in the street all night I am formed the real estate agency and they gave me the run-around for 5 months another major problem that I had that was really unsanitary was that since day one it was flea infested I offer to pay repeatedly for an exterminator and they refused because I wanted it to be deducted from the rent they sent an exterminator that came to the property and sprayed some liquid on the corners of the walls and left needless to say that did not work at all I have problems and I was not able to move out so I stayed and it was like that for 12 months they never fixed the issue 11216 Eric Drive Balch Springs Texas is the property address the foundation was broken and besides fleas a lot of other bugs would be able to come inside the house. Maintenance was always late by days and when I would call the lock head office in Mesquite I would get complete rudeness this was definitely affecting my life work relationship and I was always concerned about our health I wasted hundreds of dollars on medication for flea bites Etc. The funny thing about it is that on the 7th month I ran into some issues and I was late on my rent and they sent me an eviction notice on the second day of the month and gave me three days to evacuate the premises. Lockhead realty never once tried to contact me to find out what was going on they did not care about what was going on all they wanted was there money. When my contract was over I was a hundred percent shirt that it was going to be difficult to get my deposit back so I paid some contractors to go in the house clean it all up fix all the walls and anything that needed to be done the bill was $352 I moved out my stuff paid the bill and sure enough lochhead kept my deposit. They explain to me that the grass was not cut which I argue with them because the maintenance man took 3 weeks to get to the property after I had moved out they also said they had to pay someone to clean up the house which I had already paid a cleaning service and claimed that the oven was dirty. When I received the check and I called lochhead properties I was not surprised on the way they treated me a family-owned business is what they claim they were and I experienced one of the worst times in my life due to these people and this company this made me realize how important it is to find a good real estate agent and property managers that care a bit at least about Humanity I would highly recommend no one to use this company and if you do please be careful thank you and have a good day everyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Great staff! Very responsive for any needed repairs to the house. They work with nice and respectful services (plumbers, handymen, a/c checkup). They sent out someone to service the a/c unit regularly and provided a year's worth of filters! We had to end our lease early and they were very accommodating. They did everything they needed to on their part to help us get the house re-leased in a timely manner.

Debbie was the representative I worked with and she was extremely diligent, communicative, and kept me informed of what was happening with my rental client's application process every step of the way. Experiencia negativa: My husband and I called because we were interested in a couple of houses listed. He recently got hired to work for DPD and we were needing something soon. I called and the person who answered (Debbie) was extremely Rude! She had a condescending voice and talked to me as if we couldn't afford the properties. She did not know absolutely anything about my husband and I so I found her questions and tone of voice completely unnecessary. Needless to say we actually decided to go look at other listings. If this is the person you choose to represent your business I would suggest hiring someone else. As a business owner myself I would never have someone so rude and disrespectful talking with the public.

Experiencia negativa: stay away from this company Debbie who process the applications their is extremely rude, I applied for this place and they took forever to process the application she said it can take from3-5 business days took like two weeks . every time I would call and check on my application status she was not helpful at all she screamed at me and said that the application was processing and can take from 3-5 days I called on the 3rd business day. and everytime I had a question she would cut me off and basically tell me to don't call. I told her I was on a very short time frame she didn't seemed to care. and then once she process all my information she still had to wait for the owner to respond back. another 2 days. I eventually just found something else. If I would depend on them I would literrally be homeless right now. very bad experience. she likes to intimidate prospective renters. I felt as if I was bothering her. if you don't like your job then you should really find yourself another occupation.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! Unfortunately we've been working with this company for 3 horrible years. Phone calls are never returned. The head of the office refuses to speak with you if you ever get a hold of her and then is VERY rude and NEVER knows what's going on. Repairs are never made and I mean never unless you absolutely force their hands (i.e. raw sewage backing up onto the front porch while I was 5 months pregnant and had a 3 year old took 4 months and the city getting involved to be fixed). But mostly they're thieves. They'll do anything to make you pay more. Lie, cheat and intimidate the customer. I don't care if they manage your dream home, run away. Run far far far away!

Experiencia negativa: I am a nurse, have been a nurse 12 years, never had an eviction. I looked at a property of theirs and explained to the gentleman who showed it to me that my 20 year old daughter attempted to manage renting a place on her own in January. Just recently my daughter was (evicted) from her very expensive loft downtown. The gentlemen told me to do the application then call and talk to Debbie in the office to see what she would say about that situation because life happens. I submitted the applications, one for each of us online paying $41 and some change for each one. The next morning I called and spoke to Debbie and explained what happened with my daughter. With a bit of an attitude, she said no one in the household over the age of 18 was allowed to have an eviction on their record, ever. That's their policy. I thought to myself and said that I had never had an eviction so I thought it would be worth running the application because my history is perfect. With the tone on Debbie's voice, I said ok then how do I get my money back for the 2 applications I submitted that wouldn't even be run. She said she would talk to the owner of the company and find out. Of course by this time I don't even want to rent from them at all. The next morning she called and said she spoke to the owner of the house and they said they would consider it if my credit checked out... I was livid. I said no. You didn't run the application so don't. Just refund my money. Again she said she would talk to the owner of the company and get back to me. The following day, after 2pm, I hadn't heard back from her so, I called. She again was saying that the owner of the property said to run the app and see. I DO NOT want them running anything of mine. I just want my money back. Debbie said that the owner of Lochhead said no. Mind you they haven't run anything on my background or credit report so do they just pocket that $82?? Not OK.. I told her twice not to run my credit after she told me that noone in the household could have any evictions. If they do, there's a whole different issue to address legally. I will certainly call and discuss matters and get a feel for the ones managing a property before paying for any application online. Lesson learned..
