As first time home buyers and soon to be home owners, my fiancé and I felt we had support every step of the way with planning, education and guidance. We went out twice to look for houses in different areas With plenty of coaching, tips, and most of all suggestions From pure honest experience. When we did find the house we were the most interested in, Erica wasted no time and offered to write us an offer that night at about 10 PM just before a day where she had to travel due to a family emergency. Even still, she remained dedicated, followed up with us the next day, and worked with us diligently, even in the midst of a family crisis. While there are many reasons to share, I think the one stand-out quality that Erica has is patience. I was ready to list my property and photographers were coming, and I changed my mind. A year passed, and I then I was ready again. Erica was extremely patient with me. She also was very keen in understanding that I have very little to no knowledge of the real estate world. She was clearly and concisely able to explain things, sometimes many times and in different ways, to help me understand various concepts and decisions that I needed to make. While living in GA, my wife and I started working with Erica to find a home in MN so we could transition to our post-military life. Before we even started looking at potential homes, Erica took the time to get to know our needs, requirements, and desires. In doing so, there was less of a feeling of looking for "a needle in a haystack". When looking at lists of homes, Erica never tried to sell us any particular house; in fact, she was good about pointing out both the good and the bad details. When we had narrowed down the list of potential homes, my wife and I were initially very hesitant about doing video tours. However, Erica again exceeded our expectations by being very thorough when touring homes. She pointed out features that were difficult to capture via video (especially home scents) and she remained non-biased when assessing house quality. After going under contract, Erica provided us with a digital rolodex for points of contact with mortgage, home insurance, utilities, and gas & electric companies. She also walked through the house when the home inspector performed the inspection. When a roof issue threatened the closing timeline, Erica remained firm and coordinated with all applicable parties to ensure repairs were made on time. Overall, Erica has made our experience as stress-free as she possibly could. She is quick to answer questions, and her network of contacts is very useful. She is HIGHLY recommended.
