Experiencia fantástica: Great property management company! Every work order I put in is taken care of, the companies they hire are outstanding and always get my problems repaired! Always fast great communication and 100% recommend them from a tenants perspective!
Experiencia negativa: If I could give the owner Dan and the staff Roy / Michelle less than one I would. They are rude and obnoxious unless you’re doing exactly what they want you to do. Find another company that will listen to you and your concerns, they are out just to get your money.
It is unfortunate that this reviewer is so unsatisfied with our service as we have managed his wife’s property for 10 years now, with the same senior tenant we procured in 2015, who has never had any lease or payment issues in all this time. Despite our continuation of the same level of care and service that we have always provided to their property, over the course of the last 10 months this owner, and the reviewer- Mr. Andre Thompson, have begun making unreasonable demands of Management and the tenant, that seemed to be an effort to pressure her into vacating voluntarily, or as evidence to substantiate a non-renewal. They made several statements discussing potential renovations they would perform ONLY when that tenant vacates (they made minimal repairs and improvements during the course of our management) so they could increase their profits with a new tenant that isn't a Senior Citizen with a fixed income.
We had already determined internally that we would be terminating their management service when our tenant's current lease expired due to their demands and statements. The tenant was already making efforts to vacate at the end of her lease term due to their treatment as well, when unexpectedly Management was forced to terminate her lease 3 months early due to major repairs that were critical and necessary for the continued habitation of the property. The owner chose to delay that critical repair (The replacement of a 20+year old HVAC unit during a heat wave when heat indices were 100-115 degrees) for the sole reason of procuring more quotes than were reasonably needed to make that decision, which caused an unnecessary delay that directly exacerbated the problem and made the property unsafe for the resident to remain.
We are so thankful that Mr.Thompson (on behalf of the actual owner- Felecita Cruz) chose to make this insulting and blatantly false review of our staff so we could respond with the truth, and highlight just how horrible they have been to our tenant, and as clients with our firm this year. We have a multitude of reasons why we terminated their management with cause but at a minimum they - disrupted our tenants' quiet enjoyment of the property - failed to make necessary repairs when requested - demanded we perform unreasonable duties in unsafe conditions - and attempted to resolve issues in a way that were not aligned with our company’s values. Mr. Thompson, in particular, has been rude, verbally hostile, and patronizing in every interaction with staff, despite them maintaining professionalism. His offensive remarks about our company and staff, along with their actions and behavior as owner's, do not align with what we would EXPECT of any client that we would continue to represent, so we encouraged them (by terminating their services) to take their property, "money," and attitudes elsewhere, and strongly recommend caution for anyone who may agree to work with them in the future.

No one seems to know who this person is or about the "offer" mentioned.
What we do know is that in the State of Florida, all offers for real property must be made in writing. Further, all of our listing agreements with sellers include language which precludes our agents from presenting oral offers since they are not binding and could be detrimental to the sellers bargaining position.

He was patient, consistent and tireless in the details involved in what had to be one of his most challenging sales. We spent many hours on the phone and doing text messages. I never once got an answering machine when I called him. I think it was 3 months from start to finish and we became friends. I will actually miss his calls. I promised him a lobster when we moved to Maine!! Thanks, Fred.

He always answers his phone, is always able to meet with us quickly, and finds answers if he doesn't already know them. This time around, we needed information from the closing company and they were not getting back to us by phone, so Fred personally went to the office and waited there to speak to them. There were also some items that were missing from the property after closing. Fred contacted the seller asking for the items to be returned, and then followed up to make sure we had gotten them.

Experiencia negativa: I rent an apartment in the same apartment complex and they manage the apartment above me for three months there tents have been extremely loud they have 3 small children in a upstairs apartment very intelligence on the renter from century 21 they dont care because i called and ask if they could speak with them on there extremely excessive loud stomping but it has done nothing but gotten worse so if you do business with them there only in it for the money and not there reputation so i hope this helps shed some light on how they do things
Our company cannot control the behavior of the tenants leasing the properties that we manage. When we spoke with this person we told him we would pass along his concerns but that we COULD NOT guarantee a positive outcome.
These tenants were in place when the property was placed with our company and we have done what we can to resolve this issue.
We recommended that the individual approach his neighbors about these issues and bring about a resolution between the two parties.

Experiencia negativa: Owner Dan Gullahorn unresponsive when we had an issue with one of his agents and one of our deals. Lost money out of pocket. Still waiting for a proper response. Emailed him 3 weeks ago. Nothing. Disappointing. I would not recommend this business and its broker/agents
We did not represent this person in this transaction. They had their own real estate agent but chose to complain to us. Very unfortunate that they do not understand real estate law or be willing to listen when told that we do not represent them.
Experiencia negativa: 10/10 would not RECOMMEND Jane is rude and is usually on about a two or more week response time unless you send multiple emails at once. Also their pet deposit rule is S&*! it doesn't protect the owner of the home renting it out to anyone. They take a 300 dollar deposit from tenant and when the owner renting the home decides to go with a different realtor company they decide they just keep it for themselves. Again 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND - renting from them or listing your house through them. They seem like the type of realtors who ask you for everything last minute.
This review as presented is full of discrepancies.
Regarding the pet deposit, this is a mutually agreed upon matter that is included in the lease. These funds are non-refundable and this is disclosed prior to the signing of the lease. Since the property was only managed by our company, we had no control over the disposition of those funds. That authority rests with the owner and they have those funds not CENTURY 21 AmeriSouth Realty.
Further, per policy all communications with all tenants is handled through our online portal. This is done to insure that all inquiries are handled in a timely manner. Any delays in response time (which were minimal) were due to delays in hearing back from the owners of the property.
Finally, this property is no longer managed by our company. If the new management company is seeking an additional pet deposit from the tenant, that would be an issue we have no control over as we never kept the pet deposit to begin with.
Please keep in mind that within the scope of our responsibilities regarding the management of properties our abilities are ALWAYS limited to the wishes of the owners of those properties.
