I didn’t do any research on realtors before I began looking in Grand Junction and the surrounding area. I was fortunate to meet Joe at the first house I looked at. Joe was always responsive and he helped me problem solve. One example would be that after closing, we discovered water turned off to a broken toilet. Joe made sure that toilet got replaced immediately. He made some suggestions along the way that I would not have thought about. One was particularly important and will lead to greater appreciation in the long-term. Joe is very well connected in the market and assisted with referrals for everything I needed in the purchase process-from a lender to movers, landscapers, painters, plumbers, etc. Joe has a great personality and is lots of fun to be around. That may not seem important when you’re making such a big purchase. But in retrospect, I realize his good natured personality made everything a little easier. Experiencia fantástica: I met Joe after posting an inquiry about a property on Zillow. Joe called within 15 minutes and immediately answered all of our questions and was honest with my husband and I about everything. We knew we were serious about looking in the Grand Junction area so we stayed with Joe as a realtor. Joe asked about our exact desires, price ranges etc. and set up a website for us to be able to view homes that he fed to us on a regular basis. There was never pressure to go bigger or more expensive - he honored our wishes completely. We happened upon three homes that we were very interested in. Joe was readily available and since we are not local to Grand Junction, he zoom called with us and ensured we were entirely satisfied with each viewing before moving onto the next. He accepted calls well into the evening for him because we are 2 hours behind him so 5pm for us was already 7pm for him - but he was always willing and very receptive. Joe worked closely with us as we made an offer and navigated through a couple of contract addendum’s that were required. Joe’s efforts to keep us on point with dates and deadlines were so much appreciated - he aided in finding an inspector he trusted for us within a day! Joe stayed in close contact with our loan officers, lender, and title company throughout - not an easy task when you have different cities and timezones. Experiencia fantástica: It's taken me a bit to write this as I wanted to have the time to share how great Joe was to work with. We moved to the Grand Junction area from the Denver area (like many folks seem to be doing) and Joe was outstanding. We had been doing research on the area for months, talking to anyone and everyone, reading the local paper and Facebook groups, etc. When I met Joe and he shared the "local" perspective on not only the neighborhoods, the future plans of the area, the various school board meetings he's attended, but also the unique history of individual homes, I was floored. His knowledge and connection in the area is what made us use Joe. Moving to a new area that you can't easily pop in a car and tour homes made things a little difficult too. Joe went above and beyond and toured homes for us, sent us videos, and then gave us his opinion on the home. By the end he had met our entire family (it took a few trips) and knew more of what we needed. At that time, he was able to exclude some right off the bat. In the end, we got a great deal on our home in the Redlands and Joe was able to negotiate the contract we wanted and get it signed. It was crazy easy and this was our 4th home purchase. Now, because our kids had summer commitments we couldn't move in on closing day, but had to wait about 8 weeks. During that time we were traveling, selling our home, and packing. Also during that time, we needed a fence installed for our (almost) blind puppy, and the house needed a few repairs too. Joe was able to work with some great folks to make these things happen before we moved in. This was above and beyond! Knowing that when we arrived our dog would have a safe space to explore was very reassuring. In addition to the chosen fixes of the house, we had a tree come down in the front yard, which ultimately landed across the street. Thankfully it didn't hit anything or anyone. I was in NY and my husband was working. Joe along with the previous owners who were still in the house, were able to help navigate the tree concern. If you are local or especially if you are moving in from out the area, Joe is your guy. His knowledge will surpass any research you could possibly do on your own, he's willing to write an aggressive offer and back it up with honesty and integrity, he's willing and knowledgeable to connect you with all the local service providers you had in your previous home to make the transition easy, and above all - in four home purchases he just did more!
