Experiencia positiva: Everything went well, I did have a bit of difficulty with the lockbox because I had never used that model before but once I got it open it was an easy process. Place was presentable with a few minor things that I’m sure will be taken care of soon.

Our secretary does not have a block feature on the office phone. Guessing he didn't hear what he wanted to hear. LOL

Experiencia negativa: Hello I am new here in California. I applied for unit that has been available for over a month. I followed instructions to pay for application process. They were answering the phone when the application was being set up but after submitting the application no one has responded to any of my calls. I am still trying to rent the property and the agent that showed me the property said he would like me to stay there. But no one will answer my calls to even give me status update. Usually you hear back next day or day afterwards from most companies. Can someone tell me why no one answers the phone and why did you take my application fee if you weren’t going to rent to me.
Hi Chance, I contacted the credit manager and they did not see any applications in your name. To be clear we do not see any applications under pending or archived in the name you are reviewing with. Are you sure you are reviewing the right company? please email [email protected] with your legal name and when you applied and what property you applied for so we can make sure you are accounted for.

Experiencia negativa: Very poor customer service never anyone to handle any issues, and the most disrespectful rude unprofessional, secretary Erika from smartlease is a very poor example of how people should be treated. She is very rude and unhelpful everytime. Tried to ask for a manager and she says I am all you get nobody else here
Hi Amanda, quite the opposite. We understand you're upset that we have rules you don't want to follow. The problem is when you call up and start calling the staff names. There is no reason we need to tolerate verbal abuse. Erika is advised to hang up when the name calling starts. Please learn to be more respectful when making a request.
Experiencia negativa: Attempted to contact regarding a viewing of a home. I received text with a link to apply for a self viewing. The link then took me to an address that asks me to upload my ID, a selfie, and my credit card. I am unwilling to upload any personal info if I have not yet met with anyone. I then attempted to call and schedule a viewing that way, and they refuse to do so stating the only way is through the link. I do not feel this is a legit entity.
Hi Vanessa, many people do not like changes in technology and we appreciate you wanting to protect your privacy. Unfortunately the majority of people actually enjoy the benefits of scheduling a convenient personal showing and yes we do require ID before you go into any of our properties. This is for our safety. Our system has been used for the last 6 years and people love it because they can shop at a convenient time of their choosing. In fact, it is a great tool for happy shoppers and the unhappy shoppers we would prefer not to work with anyhow.

Like a bully in the play yard, you don't get your way and you beat up the messenger. The owner has every right to ask you and Alondra to leave. She already put a negative and like we told her this has nothing to do with us... They listed the house with an agent has nothing to do with us! Good luck to the next manager if this is how you treat people I hope they see the truth.

Its one thing to have a legitimate excuse to be angry, but to lie Alondra is quite another. When your next landlord reads this public post they will know that you’re dishonest. We have each phone call and email documented and already told you that the owner of the property wanted to sell the home you're living in. We know you're mad but this has nothing to do with us! You know we do not control the owner as to when they want to sell. And you also know you don't get your deposit back until you move out. New Landlords watch out for Alondra Garcia, she'll lie and make up negative reviews.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a premier property management. No slum lords here. We have been renting with them for over 6 years and they are a great company. Erica (hope I spelled that right) does EVERYTHING! She works the front desk, does the repair requests, etc. She is always super nice. She coordinated with the owner of the home where we are at now to reglaze the tubs, put in a new dishwasher, fresh paint throughout, etc. I was happy with the initial walk through but they went the extra mile to make the house absolutely gorgeous upon move in. The walls were painted yellow before which wasnt a problem for me but they had the entire home repainted a beautiful fresh white and it was stunning! They managed the home we were previously renting until the owner sold it and they coordinated a move into the lovely townhome we live in now. It's cute, it works, and I'm so glad we are renting with them again. I actually rented the townhome prior to doing the walkthough and put down a deposit having only seen pictures because I trust them and they did not disappoint. I had no worries about anything. Heidi is a great lady, she's so nice and works with you. As a tenant, you can avoid most problems if you just communicate to them whats going on. My mother had a stroke and heidi allowed me to pay rent a few days late. It wasn't a problem and she totally understood. Justin is a cool guy, he really worked with us on the move out of our previous home and gave us an extra day to finish moving. He came out on his day off to do the move out which helped out tremendously. We were running behind due to issues with the moving truck and we were not moving fast enough and Justin really saved the day. Paul is a nice guy too, he came to do the pre move out inspection. Everyone there is great, we get treated like family. But then again we don't send harassing emails to the management, we keep to the terms of our lease, we don't trash the place, and we pay rent. Really simple. Doesn't take much to be a good tenant. All in all, I could not say enough about the property management. We intend to stay with them as long as they'll have us. :)

Experiencia fantástica: This is a review from a home owners side. I have been with Mysmartlease since 2010. My experience has been very good even with having to deploy to Afghanistan and no communication for weeks at a time. Never felt the need to change to a different management company. Very dependable on keeping my home in order and tenants happy and if there was a problem, I was informed. Their experience and solutions to issues has made working a full time job and renting out a home possible. I can speak on my interactions with Holli, Richard, Chris and most of all Erika. They have been very professional and easy to get a hold of. Would definitely recommend if you like not having head aches with the HOA.
