Exp Realty LLC - Celeste Barr | Real Estate Agent | Luxury Listing Agent | Buffalo Grove IL | Lake County Illinois

Experiencia fantástica: I had a fantastic experience working with my realtor Celeste Barr at EXP Realty. I first spoke to Celeste about 4 years ago when my mom was thinking of selling her home. Mom changed her mind for a couple of years and reached back out to Celeste last year. Mom ended up selling privately and Celeste suggested an attorney ( Tracey Lundgren) whom help my mom with her sale. When it was time for me to sell, I knew that I would be contacting Celeste for my sale. Celeste's knowledge and expertise is on a scale of their own. Her suggestions on how to prepare my home for showings were outstanding. I received multiple offers and received full asking price, and closed in about 6 weeks. I highly recommend Celeste for all your real-estate needs Thank you so much Celeste Mike R

Experiencia fantástica: Celeste was great and very hands on with the whole process. She helped me in not only the selling of the unit but also fixing things up and moving on from my mother’s passing. Helping me with donations and actually fixing up my own home for the future. This wasn’t just a job or a payday for her. She cares about what’s going on in your life and what you are going through. I’d recommend her to all my friends and would work with her again in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: Celeste is committed to delivering concierge-level service to every client, and I experienced that firsthand when I worked with her. After attending an open house in my neighborhood, I wanted to show the property to my daughter. I contacted the listing agent three separate times and never received a response. Frustrated, I called Celeste for help. Within 15 minutes, she had secured a showing appointment. From that point forward, Celeste truly shined. She engaged with the listing agent, gained valuable insight into the seller's motivation, and prepared a comprehensive market analysis that helped us understand the property's value. She guided us through the development of a strong offer and an effective negotiating strategy. Once our offer was accepted, Celeste continued to provide exceptional support. She used her experience and expertise to guide us through the home inspection and mortgage processes, ensuring that every step moved forward smoothly. Celeste is clearly an experienced real estate professional who genuinely cares about her clients. She is attentive, proactive, responsive, and an excellent communicator. Her advice is always clear and concise, and she consistently returns calls and messages promptly. I highly recommend Celeste to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, dedicated, and client-focused real estate agent.

Experiencia fantástica: We met Celeste Barr of EXP Realty at an open house. Celeste knew we would not be putting in a bid on the house we were looking at but went out of her way to try and help us. We were impressed at Celeste's obvious desire to help even if there was nothing in it for herself. She gave us great information and help in our search to find a new home. A short time later we saw a listing for a home we wanted to see and contacted Celeste. She bent over backwards to help us see the property and it was obvious that it was just in her DNA to help and serve. We knew we wanted her as our agent and let me tell you she did not disappoint. It had been almost ten years since our last new home purchase and we were surprised by the changes in the real estate market. It was amazingly different so we were very happy we had chosen Celeste as our agent because she walked us through the process and guided us every step of the way always making sure we understood what was going on. She prides herself on helping and educating her clients. We often asked Celeste for help and recommendations and she always had fantastic recommendations joining us with other professionals who had the same service gene as she does. Selling and buying a new home is a chaotic endeavor. I can highly highly recommend Celest Barr of EXP Realty she undoubtedly will do as good a job for you as she did for us. She possesses next level marketing skills and as I said excellence is in her nature and she will not disappoint.

Experiencia fantástica: Choosing Celestial Barr at EXP Reality to assist with selling my home of 52 years is the best decision I made. Not only is she a consummate professional, she is a kind and compassionate person. She understood what I had to experience to leave the home I had personally added so much to over the years to meet my family needs. She provided gentle guidance to present my home in the best way that would result in another family appreciating all it had to offer and the result was exactly what I had hoped for. Not only was my home sold within 24 hours of being on the market, the price I received was more than I could have imagined. It’s with much gratitude to and for Celeste that I now have the means and peace of mind to enjoy my retirement.Butch Magrini

Experiencia fantástica: One of the most impressive qualities Celeste brings to the table is her transparency. She approaches every interaction with honesty and clear communication, which builds trust and confidence for her clients and colleagues. Her ability to identify and strategically market the unique features of a property or niche neighborhood ensures her clients receive the best possible representation. She has a deep understanding of not only current market trends but also the nuances that make each property and neighborhood unique. I'm an appraiser who has received a few of her listings and I've seen multiple situations where her knowledge and proactive strategies maximized opportunities for her clients other agents often overlook.

Experiencia fantástica: Celeste assisted us with the purchase of our home. She is friendly, professional, and takes the time to listen to your wants and needs. If you are buying or selling a home she is the first person you should call. Experience, knowledge, and communication matter and Celeste is the best at all of them

Experiencia fantástica: I hope I can write how great my experience was without a word limit. My mother passed suddenly and my siblings and I were new to the process of selling a home completely. Celeste treated us more like family than clients, every step of the way she was there with all of us to make sure we stayed informed. There was not a moment where I felt like I was alone in the process. Celeste went above and beyond what the average realtor would’ve done to make sure the mission was accomplished. For anyone looking to buy or sell their home I recommend Celeste Barr as your agent, she was never pushy, we always had a common goal. An angel on earth is what I would call her. During our time of grieving she stepped up and showed us that someone else cares just as much as we did. If it wasn’t for her I do not think we would’ve ever got the job done. Celeste deserves 10 stars for my experience with her and to anyone reading this I promise you can’t go wrong working with her. Not only was she a great realtor, she also became a good friend at the end of things.

Experiencia fantástica: I took a class at my Realtor Association - NSBAR (North Shore-Barrington Association of Realtors) in which Celeste taught a class in "Google Business" page. It was very informative and she provided a 7 page hand out to reference later. I truly liked her method of teaching and would take another class at NSBAR from her. Its a great learning experience when Realtors from different brokerages collaborate their expertise.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently worked with Celeste to purchase my home. She provided the best experience and was awesome to work with. She is very knowledgeable about the market and provided great advice during my search which made the buying process simple and easy to navigate. If you are choosing a Realtor, I highly recommend Celeste for the best experience possible.

Experiencia fantástica: "Celeste is not only an agent but a friend, from the moment we met her, we knew there was something different about her. She is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to buying and selling a home. My cousin and I were so lost before we met her. You not only get a woman of integrity, strength, and loyalty, you get a sense of family. She never steered us wrong and we were able to sell my cousin's home in 1 day and purchase another within weeks. Celeste is authentic and crisp in her approach and we would not have had it any other way. We wish her continued success, all of our prayers were answered, and that's when you know God's hand was in it every step of the way. Thank you, Celeste, we appreciate you beyond words."

Experiencia fantástica: Celeste was wonderful, she is prompt (actually early), prepared and knowledgeable. She did the work to understand the area and arrived with a binder full of things for us to consider. Together we made an educated decision as to our asking price and the house sold within weeks. We were out of state sellers and Celeste made that possible, she met all challenges with speed and confidence. I highly recommend, Celeste Barr, she is extremely responsive, knowledgeable and will put in the work for a successful listing.

Experiencia fantástica: Very knowledgeable and professional. She never pressured us into buying a house and taught us things to look out for when touring houses that would be potentially problematic or good. As a first time homebuyer, I strongly recommend her.

Experiencia fantástica: We can’t say enough great great great things about Celeste Barr’s realty work. We found Celeste through a Google search as we were looking for a house in the Long Grove area. Although our search started [admittedly] very early – 6 months out – guidance from Celeste began from the beginning. She was very patient with our search start and always available for questions as we considered the area. Once our search began in earnest (February 2022), that same patience continued. We must have seen near 30 houses in a 5 week period and never once felt pressured to make a decision. Celeste’s guidance upon each home visit was exemplary as well. She educated both me and my wife on areas of the house we wouldn’t have noticed – floor splits at the walls, window seals, roof shingles, yard pitches and septic problems. She really knows her stuff and again, we never felt pressured or ‘educated upon’. We put in 7 offers, working with Celeste until late at night at times. When I apologized for the long hours, her response was “This is expected. Don’t apologize!” When we finally found the home of our dreams, Celeste handled all seller communication (it was a FSBO), secured us a great lawyer and made the purchase process extremely painless. We couldn’t be happier with the entire process. Through it all, we now consider Celeste a friend and not our ‘agent’. We highly recommend Celeste Barr for your next home sale or purchase!

Experiencia fantástica: My experience talk with Celeste is that she's a true Rockstar in her field and she explains things with such details that it's easy to understand. I truly appreciate all she's done. I'm sure you'll be extremely happy with her as your realtor!

Experiencia fantástica: Celeste is easily one of the most knowledgeable real estate agents I've worked with in over a decade in this business. She always goes above and beyond to make sure that her clients have all the information they need to make an informed decision about one of the most important purchases of their lives. She is an advocate and a consummate professional. She comes highly recommended!

Experiencia fantástica: Very detailed- oriented, thoughtful, and makes sure the job gets done.

Experiencia fantástica: Celeste is the best. She made all the right calls through the sales negotiations.

Experiencia fantástica: Celeste is fantastic! She was recommended to my fiancée and I by a coworker. We were looking for a rental and having no luck. Didn't even consider seeking out a realtor for a rental but beyond happy we did! Celeste set us up with numerous walk throughs and helped us throughout the process. I whole heartedly recommend her, and hope to have her in our corner when it comes time to buy our first home!

Experiencia fantástica: Celeste helped me sell my home and buy another over the past several months - as well as purchase my first home back in 2013. I can't imagine working with anyone else; Celeste takes all the anxiety out of the process and is unfailingly thoughtful, insightful, and compassionate in everything she does. Her good advice and dependability got me into my dream home with a minimum of hassle, despite the pandemic. I couldn't recommend her any more highly!

Experiencia fantástica: There are soo many great things I want to say about Celeste. Her timely response, her knowledge in the field and her ability to deflect any situation with ease and grace helped us get our home. Thanks Celeste and looking forward to working with you again.

Experiencia fantástica: Celeste is fantastic to work with. She helped us buy and sell a home in this crazy market. She marketed our home so well that we had 61 viewings and 30 offers!!! I cannot recommend her enough. She made the process so easy and kept us on track with checklists and timelines. No guess work involved. Thank you for all of your help and hard work Celeste!

Experiencia fantástica: Celeste was very helpful for us in finding a great home during this hot housing market. She was very flexible and responsive on new homes and was able to show us all the positive and negative aspects of a home. We would have missed different things that lead us to finding the right home and she did amazing during the negotiations! We will be recommending her to anyone else looking for a home in the area.

Experiencia fantástica: We knew from the moment Celeste met with us that she understood exactly what we needed. We were selling and buying so there was a lot to navigate. She was there to answer our constant questions. Never felt that we were bothering her. We ended up in several pricing wars and she was so helpful with many different suggestions of how we could improve our offers. Very satisfied clients.

Experiencia fantástica: When it was time to put my home on the market, I returned to the broker who helped me find my home 15 years ago. Why? Because I knew Celeste knew the market better than anyone and would do her homework. I was not wrong. They key thing about Celeste is her ability to research EVERYTHING about your home. She created a thorough binder of every aspect of my home and we carefully selected a price. She pushed me to list it on the MLS before listing it on the market and, because of her thoughtful research, my house sold at asking price in about 2 days after a few showings. I never had to put it on the market. At the closing, she was ready at the drop of a hat to help as I was working. I was so incredibly pleased and recommend her without hesitation.

Experiencia fantástica: Celeste truly treated us like family. Her attention to detail, follow through, and communication helped make the process smooth. She provides her clients with a wealth of knowledge, and makes the process of buying and selling easy to understand. We can’t thank her enough- and would highly recommend her.

Experiencia fantástica: We have been working with Celeste for years. She is very professional and so knowledgeable, we felt comfortable asking her any questions regarding our first home purchase. She is very responsive and was able to show listings to us right away. She helped us through the entire home buying process and made it so easy. She is amazing at her job and we are lucky to have been able to work with her. I would recommend Celeste to anyone!

Experiencia fantástica: Celeste - Elizabeth and I would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the splendid job you did in guiding us through the maze that is selling a house these days. We could never have done it without you! When I think of all the things that could have gone wrong in a transaction of such complexity, I shudder. What would have happened if we had had a realtor who lacked your enthusiasm, motivation and uncompromising sense of professionalism? You always had a crystal clear idea of the good in mind, and an equally clear idea of how to bring that good to fruition. You may rest assured that we will be delighted to recommend you to anyone seeking the services of a top-notch real-estate professional. Thanks a million!

Experiencia fantástica: I was a first time home buyer and working with Celeste was a breeze. Her use of integrated apps and calendars made signing paperwork and viewing scheduled items very simple and stress free. She is very responsive to texts and emails. She works with a great team of people and has incredible knowledge about the local areas and the home buying procedures. Celeste will give you honest opinions on the properties you are looking into to guide you into your best decision. Celeste cares about your well being and I would feel no hesitation reaching out to her for advice or recommendations on future home projects. Overall I am very pleased with the experience and happily living in my new house. Thank you again, Wade S.

Experiencia fantástica: Celeste has been a pleasure to work with. She set me up with an email listing of homes in the area I was interested in looking at. She has a wonderful network of reliable professionals to work with if needed. I would recommend C eleste highly to anyone looking to purchase a home in the area.

Experiencia fantástica: Celeste was a great realtor to work with. She met with us right away, and then worked with us to help us find exactly what we were looking for within our price budget. She found us the perfect home in under a week. Celeste was also available day and night for any questions we had, even after closing she was there to answer questions. Being a first time home-buyer, this was very helpful. She made sure to connect us with great people, to help us get through all of the tasks needed during the buying process. I would recommend her to anyone I know looking for a new home.

Experiencia fantástica: Celeste is the hardest working Realtor I know. Whether you are purchasing or selling a home you need to call Celeste Barr

Experiencia fantástica: We worked with Celeste 4 years ago when we were looking for our first house. She did a great job finding us a perfect house. Before starting the search, my husband and I had different views on what we want and we were disagree on everything. Celeste was very patient with us and helped us to find a house that both of us loved. Last year we needed to move because of the new job and were selling our house, called Celeste again. She was very nice and gave us very good advises about decluttering and staging the house, so we got an offer on the second day the house was on the market! Celeste worked with us the whole time and made process of selling the house easy for us. We would definitely recommend Celeste to all our friends and acquaintances.

Experiencia fantástica: Celeste as far as im concerned, went above and beyond for us. She must of shown us 15 plus homes. And she had so much patients with us. I would recommend Celeste to anyone who is serious about buying a home. If it wasnt for Celeste we probably wouldnt have found our beautiful home! Thank you Celeste for all o f your hard work.....

Experiencia fantástica: We got terribly lucky finding Celeste when looking for our first home. She is on top of everything, makes a timeline, keeps everyone informed on the daily, and makes it a fun and exciting process rather than a tedious one. We value as much information as we can get, so her method of showing is perfect for us. From the first couple of houses we looked at, she walked us through pros and cons, made us aware of potential problems we wouldn't have even though about going in, and made us feel comfortable and really great about our first meeting. We never felt rushed, rather she took her time listening to us and asking questions to be sure we were moving in the right direction. In fact, we noticed she got excited when we started finding what we liked! She knows what good customer service is about, and everyone she's recommended for us to work with holds themselves to such a high standard. It feels like we have our own personal team at our backs! We are incredibly lucky to have found her.

Experiencia fantástica: I've worked with Celeste on dozens of transactions over the last few years. She has consistently been a knowledgeable, caring steward of her clients and their best interest. She really cares about getting her client the right home, and always has excellent advice for any aspect of the transaction. I would highly recommend her services to anyone buying north of Chicago.

Experiencia negativa: I called her up to schedule a showing. She asked me a few questions regarding how much I was pre-qualified for. I told her how much I was pre-qualified for, and she responded by telling me, "You are too poor for me to work with. I am not going to waste the time on such a small commission." Celeste then promptly laughed and hung up the phone. I have never encountered someone so unprofessional in my life. Terrible person, terrible realtor!!!!
