Experiencia negativa: Very unprofessional, extremely disorganized; somehow they never received my application, management could be a little more professional. Beth Godman the Manager should be held accountable for lack of organization managing all the properties.

Experiencia negativa: Very unorganized and rude office staff. Constantly gave the run around and even mixed my application up twice with someone else’s, then denied the mistake and wouldn’t call me back about the issue until I showed proof. They also lost my application multiple times, so either they are extremely unorganized or dishonest; maybe both. I just went somewhere else and I’d highly recommend that anyone else do the same. They just seem unethical and that’s not a business I want to be to be relying on for my housing.

Experiencia negativa: The property I moved into was dirty and had a lot of damage. I documented all of it in writing and photos. None of my repair requests were answered until a month before my lease was up so I told them to wait until I moved out. Now, they are trying to charge me for these things. There was also an issue with them not informing me about having to transfer the water into my name or pay that bill and then months in they suddenly wanted me to pay the water back to before I even moved in. They are only in it for the money. Completely no responsive to their tenants and to the owners as far as I can tell. They would rather have the house fall apart and charge you than to address your requests to have things fixed. Now I’m moved out and I received an email that they are sending documents and photos to me via their App, which I no longer have. I’ll update as things move forward, but after dealing with them for the past 13 months the, I wouldn’t recommend renting through them at all.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible communication they lack professionalism and they keep their units inhabitable they break the law and they just had a settlement. They’re impossible to work with. I would highly recommend going elsewhere won’t be seeking a property from them

Experiencia negativa: Frustrated with the lack of communication with this management company. From when they took over the place I lived in to when I moved out, it has been a struggle to get a response. I will give them credit for maintenance, every request was taken care of quickly but the property has gone downhill and I’m glad I left. I disputed my security deposit refund and have been going in circles about it, with no resolution. I still go to the property every day for carpool and there’s always trash everywhere and the new tenants I’ve seen have off leash dogs and there seems to be no oversight.

Experiencia negativa: I hired them to manage my property. They selected tenants based on their rental criteria and I approved them. Soon after, the tenants stopped paying rent. I had to evict the tenants and Coldwell was no help at all. When the tenant moved out and I went back to inspect the home, it was in ruins and despite the security deposit, I was out several thousands in repairs due to Coldwell’s poor choice in tenants for my property. 0/10 experience, will go with literally any of the other property management companies next time.

Experiencia negativa: Review of Coldwell Banker Redding: Unjustified Security Deposit Deduction I recently ended my tenancy with Coldwell Banker Redding and was deeply disappointed with their handling of my security deposit. Despite my best efforts to leave the apartment in excellent condition, they unfairly deducted a significant amount from my deposit.Firstly, they charged an exorbitant $450 for cleaning, even though I had thoroughly cleaned the apartment before vacating. This charge seems completely unjustified given the condition in which I left the premises. Additionally, I had been proactive in maintaining the apartment during my stay. This included regularly changing the AC filter. I even left three new filters for the next tenant as a gesture of goodwill. Despite this, I was perplexed to find a charge for an AC filter in the deductions. The carpets were another point of contention. I hired a professional cleaning service to ensure they were in pristine condition, and I shared the receipts with Coldwell Banker as proof. Despite this, they did not acknowledge my efforts or the expenses I incurred in professionally cleaning the carpets.In conclusion, I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of transparency and fairness in Coldwell Banker Redding’s approach to handling my security deposit. This experience has significantly affected my view of their professionalism and ethics in property management.

Experiencia positiva: Our tenant was always late with rent. Traci was very diligent in collecting the rent. We finally evicted the tenant and have just competed a major udate to the house For the most part it went well…They quickly found us a new tenant Glad to have them involved

Experiencia negativa: Coldwell Banker was the worst property management experience I’ve personally experienced.I rented at a location in Redding.There was a lady who was not on the lease and staying with her boyfriend and aggressive to us to the point of almost physical violence to us who we’re paying tenants over parking spots at our location.They basically thought they were entitled to all 5 out of 10 parking spots.We contacted the management about the issue and they informed us she was not supposed to be on the property because there has been many domestic disputes between the couple.The management refused to evict them even tho she was not allowed to be there..I felt uncomfortable at my own home and there was constant tension with the neighbors.They would constantly antagonize me and my spouse.Coldwell Management refused to do anything about them and basically told us to move.I will never recommend or deal with Coldwell Management again.

Experiencia positiva: Be very careful before you sign the lease. I would go check out the property and make sure the people living next door are neighbors you'd get along with. Don't be afraid to walk away it think there isn't better. I lived at 1030 N court street and had the worst neighbors. The walls there are paper thin and you can hear snoring literally from underneath you in the bedrooms. I know it's an apartment but from what I've heard this level of noise is not normal. You will not have much privacy here. Just like any rental company it basically only cares about its bottom line. Tracy seemed alright but in the end her hands are tied by what the company demands. Read read read and re read that lease too. It's not fun but that's the way it is these days.

Experiencia negativa: Geez. I applied for a small apartment. These people were quick and kind enough to take my background check fees. However when I called a couple of weeks later to check up on my application, the lady that answered the phone was so rude and demeaning that she almost brought me to tears for even asking. I work in the funeral industry and in these times we work our behinds off to honor and respect the people in our community and help them in any way we can. I did not deserve that sort of behavior.

Experiencia negativa: Not happy that lady on phone told me you have to have a credit score of 550 and then we apply and pay $120 for credit checks and then say oh your score has to be 600 or higher. Don't Recommend!! Just take your Money!!

They are non obtrusive, and always respond to any maintenence request I submit within the same day. I can truly say I know they care about me as a tenant and want to provide me with the best living conditions available. I am highly impressed with this company and recommend them to anyone that is rental searching. They are 10/10 getting a Christmas card this year!

Experiencia fantástica: We had rental property that had been vacant for several months in spite of our efforts to market the property to prospective tenants. We ultimately decided that going through a property management company might be more productive and would ensure that all the legal requirements of renting would be met. We ended up speaking with Traci Young, Branch Manager, who IN A DAY had the perfect tenant for us! She was able to negotiate a one year lease vs. a month to month rental, got us the rental income we were asking, and took care of all the paper work. It was a seamless experience. During the tenancy an issue arose that required Traci’s assistance and again, it was satisfactorily resolved the same day to include a follow up afterwards to make sure everything was OK. We couldn’t be more pleased with C&C Property Management and highly recommend Traci and her team.

It took awhile to sell but not due to Misty or Coldwell Banker. From start to finish Misty was with us answering any questions and doing all the hard footwork. She's professional, friendly and knows the business.

Experiencia negativa: Ive seen this conpany take advantage of a few family members of mine since it was thier first place since moving from home, they would have an attitude whenever we would ask questions about the area, the apartment we moved into was un complete. Had mold on the windowsill in the bathroom, the trim was never completed in the house. The AC unit was damaged and never fully repaired. They had to deal with a large scale fire and someone shooting at the residence. Codwell never offered to help or to see if any of the tenants were ok. Unfortunately this company cares little about you. Amd if you have a pet. Forget about finding a place. Truly disgusted by this company

Experiencia negativa: #CAUTION Regarding: Caldwell Banker C&C PROPERTIES This happened to me. When I gave notice I was sent a letter which included detailed instructions for getting my deposit back. It included a check-off list of instructions for cleaning. It was extensively but easy to follow. My daughter helped me. We followed it to the detail including the baseboards, the window seals, and light fixtures. My daughter cleaned and sterilized the bathroom and vanity area including the walls and floor. I cleaned the kitchen area. I took the appliances and hood/fan apart and cleaned each piece. I cleaned the tops, the front, the sides, and the floor underneath. The unit was extensively cleaned. I signed and returned the check-off instruction sheet and returned it to the office along with the keys. They charged me $100 for 4 hours cleaning!!! I went into the office and spoke with the office manager personally. I had to go in there anyway because she neglected to sign the refund check. I explained everything to her. The office manager told me: 1) "I check every unit myself." If she did she would have seen it was already cleaned. 2) "4 hours of cleaning is a minimal amount. It Usually takes 6 hours or more." It is a tiny 2 room studio. I am elderly, I live alone and I am a very clean person. There is no way it took 4 hours to clean an already cleaned tiny 2 room studio. 3) After hearing all her excuses, she finally told me. "Well, really, the only way you could have prevented it was to have it professionally cleaned yourself." If that's true the letter they sent with the check-off instruction list should have said that instead. I was treated unfairly by Caldwell Banker, C&C PROPERTIES of Redding CA. Experiencia negativa: Oh my Lord talk about being given the run around with the entire process. Told we were approved after a few days no problem but they gave away both the places we were looking at away a few days before telling us if we were approved or not. We checked online a week later and they still had one of the places open and when we called, we were told the person we needed to talk to was busy and we'd get a call back. So we waited and never ended up getting a call back for a few days until we called again and got told she's busy again and told to wait a little longer. Finally get to talk to whoever we needed to talk to and then we were told we were not approved for a place we were approved for a week and a half before. Hmmm.

Experiencia fantástica: As a homeowner and client, I can honestly say that hiring CC Properties Mgmt was easily money well-spent. Deborah took care of everything and my house still looks great after all these years. This house was special to me and there hasn’t been a problem that Deborah hadn’t previously experienced. So, I was very comfortable letting her deal with any tenant issue......which is probably why I always had long term tenants. When I win the lottery, my life will become like a Monopoly Board and CC will manage all my properties.

Experiencia negativa: slumlords they don't fix anything that you ask them to fix my kids can play in the backyard for two years because they refused to fix the fence that was already dictated on the ground we moved in there was garbage all over the back yard sewing needles pins all over the carpet upstairs in the rooms the broken toilet see what it repair we lived there three years will they evicted us they told us it was because they wanted to upgrade the townhouse but told everyone else we do face their property by putting in a brand new fence for them because my kids could play in the backyard and fixing toilets which we had a licensed professional come out they left us without any way to cook for 3 weeks don't go through them

Experiencia fantástica: I met the owner Steve Craft and his wife one day as they were leaving the company, and I must say they are such amazingly nice people! My realtor there was so friendly and always attentive and on the ball. The home they found me was amazing and costed far less than I was willing to pay, which told me they were out to find me what I wanted and at a good deal. NOT just in it for the $$. Thanks Coldwell Banker! I will come to you guys again when I buy my next home, and reccomend you to all my friends when they need real estate service.
