Experiencia negativa: I am very unhappy with how I was treated during my interaction with Anna Steuer. I reached out to inquire about listing two land parcels I legally acquired at a county tax deed action. Because I live out of state and the properties were purchased at auction, she immediately dismissed me, treated me like a scammer, and refused to work with me, despite my offering proof of ownership. It has taken a lot of hard work and research to acquire these properties, and to be treated with such hostility and disrespect as an out-of-state property owner was completely unacceptable and deeply unprofessional. I would not recommend working with her!

Thank you for your feedback, and while we take all client feedback seriously, we feel it
important to clarify several inaccuracies in this review so that the public has a complete
understanding of the transaction.
This client chose to work with our team for both the purchase and subsequent re-sale of
their property, reflecting the level of trust shown with our experience and reputation.
There are several important details that provide extra context for this transaction and are
happy to provide additional documentation to support the details.
The property was listed on December 22, 2025. Despite it being the holidays, the property
had the first offer accepted prior to 30 days. That purchase fell due to a difficult inspection.
Although the seller felt she was entitled to the earnest money, the buyer wanted it released
because of this unacceptable inspection. The second offer rescinded it prior to the offer
being presented. The third offer closed the first week of March. We are proud of multiple
offers and a closed transaction in 90 days despite it being the holiday season.
There were in fact temporary coverage adjustments within the team due to scheduled
medical procedures, but continuous support was provided throughout. In fact, the
broker/owner met you in person immediately.
This sale involved multiple time-sensitive challenges, including required electrical repairs
that could have jeopardized closing.
Our team not only found a reputable electrical contractor but negotiated a deal with him
that was far below the “going rate.” Mike does not “promote” any contractor. He has a list of
contacts and relationships that have been built over decades. After doing the first round of
work, the electrician decided he and the seller were not a good “fit” and decided not to
proceed with any further work. Our team then had to find another electrician that was
willing to deal with the seller and but also match the original price. That level of
coordination and urgency is not typical, but it was necessary to protect the sale.
Despite these challenges, the property closed successfully, and the seller received more than
originally projected. That outcome required active problem-solving, a strong list of contacts,
negotiation, and persistence behind the scenes.
Real estate transactions can be highly charged and stressful, and are not always seamless,
particularly when unexpected issues arise. Our team worked diligently to navigate those
challenges and deliver results. In this case, the transaction was completed successfully with
a strong financial outcome.
We stand by both our level of service, professionalism, responsiveness and results that our

Experiencia negativa: Jamie Garcia is one of their realtors and she is probably the worst realtor I have ever come across. She consistently talks bad about properties and tries to steer clients into more expensive home so that she can get larger commissions. The companies they use for inspectors are just as bad as she is. They put down stuff on inspections that are not correct and they do not k ow proper codes and regulations. Then she gets quotes for repairs from ever shadier companies. Seems like she is just trying to make fake work for friends. Kind of like a quid pro quo. So please stay away from her and find any other realtor in the area to work with.

In this case, because you also left a review on the inspector. It was not difficult to determine that we in fact did NOT represent you. We represented the buyer.
Jamie has been an agent for over 10 years, and this would be the first complaint that she has received. Which is why we investigated it so closely.
We understand that real estate transactions can sometimes be highly stressful and emotionally charged. Especially in these situations. We have found, that with inspections, there are often a handful of items that can be extra concerning for buyers… flags on septic systems, roofs, and foundations can be especially concerning. As I am certain that you would understand, just because something is “code” does not mean that it is working to the level expected. For example: an outlet may be “to code” but when something plugs in, it trips or does not work at all. Often the seller may not even be aware of this. However, with your bigger ticket items, those buyers who may be willing to overlook smaller items may not have the money put away for these expensive “potential” future problems.
In every real estate transaction, the ultimate goal is to get the property to the closing table, but sometimes this just does not happen. But at the end of the day, it was Jamie’s sole responsibility to represent her client (the buyers) best interests. And I am sorry that upset you.
With all of this said, given that you were not her client, we are surprised that you would ANONOMOUSLY attempt to destroy someone’s business and the reputation that they have worked extremely hard for a decade to build. We are sorry for your experience and wish you luck in the future.

Experiencia negativa: Do NOT touch them with a 10 foot pole. They’re notorious in NW Indiana as being shady. One of their agents represented buyers for a home I was selling. They switched their financing on an accepted, signed offer WITHOUT TELLING ME FOR WEEKS. This caused a different appraisal checklist, without me knowing. All I got was an “oops! It wasn’t a big deal though, right?” IT’S A BIG DEAL. Buyers were working on a void contract, completely unbeknownst to them and me. I lost a ton of money when I could have re-listed during the good season. These people are working with YOUR hard-earned savings. Do NOT trust them with that. They’re negligent and my attorney had to get involved.
Experiencia negativa: Anna Kenney was our realtor. This was our first time buying a home. It was an awful experience. She was not qualified to sell the home we were buying. There were other items that we wanted to make an offer on along with the home, but Anna told us things didn’t work that way. She messed things up for us. She told us to make our offer high but didn’t want to try and make a deal on the house and other items. Her concern was with her commission and not for us. We wanted another item along with the house and Anna told us that we can’t do that. We then find out that the other realtor on her team was the one to get us the item because Anna didn’t know how. There was also an incident with an appliance replacement in the home that should’ve been handled by the agent, but instead had to go through the broker of the firm. We couldn’t trust her to do the right thing. She only cared about making money on this deal. She also told us that she fired a client and was very proud of it. I would not recommend her. This was our first time buying a home and Anna ruined it. She is not experienced enough.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm commenting on the 1 star reviews that were posted today. This client refuses to understand that there is a process required prior to earnest money being released. Both parties in the transaction must sign a Mutual Release and they must agree to which party will receive the earnest money. If the parties do not agree, then there is a legal procedure that must be followed. Mike Tezak cannot overrule the law and release earnest money to either party. Mike runs a great office and represents all parties equally. This client needs to get the facts straight and making threats and attacking the reputation of Mike Tezak and Realty Executives Premier is uncalled for.
