From the moment I first talked with her on the phone I knew she was a good fit for our family. She has a bright, excited personality and a go-getter attitude that gets things done. She had had good suggestions for getting the property ready to sell and told us when our own concerns about aspects of the property were really unfounded. Basically, Christina knows when to spend money and when to hold back, which definitely saved us time, and money on selling our property. Christina knows the market in a large area of central Virginia very well. She is great at suggesting an appropriate price point, and very transparent about what can affect the way people perceive the price as fair or not. She gets lots of photos and information up front, and doesn't necessarily release it all immediately, which proved important in our case after a potential buyer backed out of the contract on basically a pretense. She was able to release new photos and spruce up the listing, so that it didn't look bad to other potential buyers that it had gone off the market and then back on. Christina assisted us through a rather difficult sale with some really un-budging buyers and helped us to understand the state of the market and why it was a good idea to go ahead and make concessions, despite our feeling that there was no give-and-take where the buyers were concerned. We had determined that we would trust her final judgement, as she knows her business better than we do, and it was the right decision. She got us through, even with a hiccup on the night before closing. We loved working with Christina and would highly recommend her to anyone in Amherst County or around Charlottesville. She works so hard for you. She earned every penny of her commission and we are delighted that she was on our team!
