Experiencia fantástica: Brian Sinkoff, Owner of Sinkoff Realty, listed and sold our deceased Mother's long time home in Niskayuna earlier this year. We are extremely pleased with the work he did for us. Brian is the consumate real estate professional you want working for you. He delivered top-notch service throughout the entire process. We found Brian through a referral whom he had worked for in a simliar situation (needing to sell a home no longer needed by a family member). Our initial meeting with Brian included myself and two other family members/siblings. In that meeting, Brian took the time to explain how he would approach this sale given our situation. The home was older; our mother lived there a long time; she accumulated a large amount of "stuff"; some cosmetic work was needed but mainly the home before going on the market needed to be cleaned out and prepared for sale. Our schedules did not allow for that to happen quickly. In stepped Brian. Once given the green light, Brian had a team of people in the home and in one day they emptied out basically a tractor trailer worth of furniture and many other items that needed to go. Like I said a lot of stuff. It was emptied out with no issues and left broom swept clean. He then had the home professionally cleaned. We bore the costs for this work and they were extremely reasonable. The folks who came took a lot of care in their process and even cleared out the driveway and walkway of snow to help keep the home clean and the work site safe. His photographer was up next and took a series of professional pictures and videos that really showcased the home properly for our listing. Within 7 business days, Brian had all of this done AND the home was publicly listed for sale AND THE HOME WENT UNDER CONTRACT ABOVE LISTING PRICE! Incredible! Brian's work was not done at that point. This might be where I appreciate his work the most. Brian stayed on top of everything post sale- making sure the contract was executed, deposit paid, etc; furthemore arranging, attending and participating in the inspection; then, working with us on follow-up items and guiding the sale to closing. There are a lot of small but important steps in this process- especially with NY real estate sale rules- involving multiple parties lawyers/agents/etc. and Brian took the lead at every point. The sale was completed as planned and flawlessly executed because of his hard work, knowledge and professionalism. I can not stress enough after 40 years of owning, selling personal and investment real estate you need a full time serious player on your side. This is what Brian represents. The sale of our mother's home was very important to us but frankly was not a large sale, you would not tell that in dealing with Brian. He gave it his full attention and was there for all of us right away when we called or texted with a question or any other matter. He had to work with three different personalities as well (and sometimes our spouses!) - something not easily achieved in any situation. If you are going to be looking for a home to buy or sell in the Capital region I strongly recommend Brian Sinkoff!

I was told the property already had two offers and was asked to sign in, which I did immediately. As I was filling in the form, he yells at me from across the room, "You need to fill that all the way in, don't leave anything blank." I was taken back by his abruptness and smiled while I continued to fill out the form. He then proceeded to chastise me, saying "The owner needs to know who was in his house. Wouldn't you want to know who was in your house?" I told him I had heard him. There was no reason for him to have been so rude and condescending. He really needs to reconsider his manner toward potential customers.

My fiancé and I were looking for a home for over two years, but we ended up with either not liking the property or being told that the sale was already pending. We were trying to go at it alone in a very crazy and hectic house market and kept finding ourselves struggling to find the right home. After being outbid on yet another house in March of 2022 (and might I add that this house held a lot of sentimental meaning to me) I became very frustrated and vented to my family. Brian was very professional and sat us down to list the main priorities of what we were looking for in a house.
