Choosing Akel to represent your real-estate purchase or sale will carry this luck to and through a professional experience. When professional experience and luck team up miracles appear overcoming complexity and difficulty, a real privilege. Selling investment property with a long-term tenant of 15 years who had become family was a highly emotional and delicate process that required a specific buyer. I did not want to sell the property to someone that would have the tenant (family) evicted. Additionally, there were other variables inhibiting the ability to show the property or prepare the property to be sold. More challenges and delays came to fruition once escrow opened. In summary, I had a property to sell that couldn’t really be shown, can’t be prepared to be sold, the tenant could not be interrupted, and their tenancy must be retained by the new owners - after all the tenant is family, oh and closing will be delayed. How do I do this? I don’t, Akel did. It is a privilege to work with Akel while he practices real-estate with a high level of emotional intelligence operating beyond judgement bringing fluidity, balance, and positive outcomes to one of the most complex experiences we can go through. I’ve already recommended my sister while he is currently helping get into her first home as well. Akel isn’t just trying to make money he truly loves helping people to get into a home. Akel worked hard to get the best deal He could for me. This was my first home so I had no idea I could negotiate for a new roof and other things like that. Akel takes the initiative to to do things like that. The best part about working with akel is that he will do everything in his power for you to get the home of your dreams, as well as insure that you purchase a home that is in good condition that will last you. Experiencia fantástica: This review is long overdue! I reached out to Akel on IG on a whim when I randomly seen a condo that I had to have. I messaged him at 8:19pm and he responded thoroughly at 8:23pm with a smiley face and next steps. There are a couple of things that stood out to me during our very first conversation. 1. He suggested I use a lender he's worked with and respected my decision to decline. No pressure at all as he understood my loyalty and desire to work with my lender. They actually worked really well together. 2. His level of involvement was everything. He never pressured or rushed me to do anything, yet he was proactive, thorough, and calm. I've been preparing for homeownership for awhile and have interacted with some realtors who were either extremely pushy or uninterested so his demeanor literally set the tone for the buying process. Akel listens, is very transparent, and a great advocate. He negotiated for things I didn't ask for, know to ask for, but was in my best interest. He never made me feel like a commission check. He encouraged me not to offer too much and was honest that if the buyer didn't accept our offer, it wouldn't be worth it and to look else where. The buyer had other offers, some more appealing than mine, but Akel worked his magic and got my offer accepted with the buyers willing to contribute substantially to the closing costs. Logistically, the buying process went relatively smooth. However it was still an emotional rollercoaster for me. I had lots of questions, some doubts, and maybe more than a few moments of panic where I reached out to him hella late at night, hella early in the morning, and on Thanksgiving. He responded promptly, professionally, and personably. Not an ounce of irritability or urgency his tone. He goes above and beyond. The day he handed me the keys, he offered to help me move. He actually insisted on helping me move and when he didn't hear from me a few days later, he followed up. I actually just seen a post on IG that confirmed he was working with another client at the same time he was working with me but I didn't feel it one bit. His attentiveness is unmatched.
