Experiencia negativa: This women Anna and Chanel, along with the entire company behave rude, snooty and unsophisticated. Their company is partially owned by a woman named Cindy and her husband Jerry works as their plumber. Jerry tattle taled to Anna that I was rude by hanging up on him. The call was over and like a normal person I then hung up. Yes. I hung up when the call was over. This sparked multiple attempts to start eviction with my family We paid our rent throughout covid and have done more good to the property than damage but they keep citing paint on walls as damage. They also lie about their behaviors and procedures. Anna acts like she is a gift from heaven and talks like she has a really really large stick up hers. As she makes up all the claimed damage, my electrical and door access both front and back were compromised for 6 months. The roof over a year now requiring 1/2 of it to be replaced and numerous flood cleanings. They are the worst in the area and if I were one of the women that worked there I'd be so embarrassed, I would be miaerable if I acted like they do.

Aim Rental Properties

Hello Jill. First and foremost we want to thank you for your review. Its a shining example of what COVID protected in California. You and your parents (licensed contractors) lied to secure a rental in Joshua Tree. Shortly after we found out exactly what was going on and by then COVID hit. During your tenancy you destroyed a home owners house, had convicted felons and sexual offenders in and out of the property not to mention the drug issues. There was no attempt at an eviction. We were successful and EVICTED you for holding a property hostage. The plumber had nothing to do with you being evicted. You allowing people to tamper with wires in the electrical box and cutting wires to a new water heater, breaking windows and all the other nonsense that was endured led to you being asked to vacate. You chose to hold a home hostage which resulted in an eviction. Nothing was made up or exaggerated, we have time stamped photographic evidence, videos from your neighbors and multiple police reports that all confirm everything listed above. I AM PROUD to work for AIM! They are a fantastic corporation to work for and they pride themselves on the contracts they hold. You are an adult who signed a lease agreement and felt the rules don't apply to you. Don't be angry we enforced the lease you signed and treated you like the adult that you are.

Experiencia fantástica: Rented from AIM for 2 years. I rarely heard from them, except once or twice they told me to clean up my yard because of weeds (spring) no biggie they referred me to landscapers that took care of it. Besides that they were very easy to work with. Anytime I had a maintenance issue Ana always took my calls and someone was out within 1 or 2 days or atleast called me to schedule. When I moved out I gave a 30 day notice, did a move out inspection walk thru so I knew what they would charge from my deposit and what I could try to take care of and then when I turned in my keys I got most of my deposit in the mail within a couple weeks. I’m in Texas now but if I ever go back to yucca valley I will rent with them again.

Experiencia negativa: As a renter for the past 3 years, lack of communication for work orders was the most time consuming. From things like leaking swamp cooler, a light switch that continuously shorted out, or a hole in the wall caused by a leak upstairs would take weeks and several phone calls or in-person visits to get the service man to make an appointment with us. I wish I could call the repairmen directly, but that was not their process for work orders. When we first moved in, there was a broken screen door, and we reported it kindly to their receptionist. After 4 months and many phone calls the screen door was fixed. Our miniblinds in the living room broke one day that first year while pulling them up. We reported the damage and AIM told me they would not replace them until we moved out. That we can choose to toss them or repair them. We choose to put up a simple curtain. The last week in the apartment we had a move-out inspector come visit and we were told we needed to replace all the broken mini-blinds. Not only did we take multiple trips to Home Depot to get the right size and have them cut to fit during a very busy week but we were enraged that we had to replace them at all. If we had been told back in the first year it was our responsibility to replace, we would of then or planned accordingly. But the conversation during the first year was they would replace at move out. The receptionists told us that it is common knowledge that miniblinds are a tenant’s responsibility. The mini-blinds were not listed in the contract about appliances or items that we were held responsible for. We replaced the miniblinds and spent many hours cleaning the apartment. We wanted to leave the apartment dirty, like it was for us when we were given the keys. We choose not to because we don’t want to bring frustration and a bad start to the next tenant, they deserve a clean apartment. We desired to leave the apartment a messy black hole because AIM has sucked out so much of our energy and money. I highly do not recommend this company.

Hi Ryan. sorry you were placed on hold at 2:16pm today while I was on the other line. We take all calls in the order they are received and go as quickly as possible from one line to the next. Our phone is always answered and if for some reason you reach our voicemail you have an option to leave a message. I see where I have responded to multiple emails answering your questions. Our listings are updated on Friday afternoons. Due to the housing shortage our listings are in short supply and go rather quickly. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you

Experiencia fantástica: I have been renting from them for almost a year and never had an issue with them. The house has had a few problems but all it took was a phone call to them and they had someone out to fix them. Since they use professionals to do the work it might take a day or two for someone to come out but I can guarantee they won’t leave until the problem is properly fixed. I look forward to staying with them till I retire.

Experiencia negativa: Very dishonest business. They bait-and-switch me. Showed me a nice apartment and gave me one with huge stains on the carpet. Due to time constraints I had to take that apartment. When I had a rodent stuck in my wall they told me that was due to Nature and they would not help me with it. They refused a final walk-through with me and then took my deposit. Stay far away from this business if you can.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible people to do business with find someone else to rent from. Do not trust these people They denied me because of our previous landlord but down on his paper he wouldn't rent to us again even though it showed we paid our rent on time every month for over a year. So I called him to find out way he said it was because of our oldest son that he got complaints about him not because of us. But AIM didn't bother asking us why or him. They just assumed it was us. Our son was living with us at that time and he had girl friends coming over. They were much worst things going on in that place. But AIM didn't even bother to ask. They just denied us.They just seem to try and find any reason they can so they can keep taking apps. To get more money. Find another property management that has better reviews.I also see they have had to lower their rent on their properties I wonder why? Are people starting to realize what type of people they are?

Aim Rental Properties

Hello Peggy. You were told prior to submitting your application what the rental qualifications are. We ask tenants gross three times the amount of the rent being asked, no prior evictions, good credit and good rental references. Unfortunately, you did not meet the qualifications needed to rent the home you applied for. We wish you the very best with your future endeavors.

Experiencia negativa: When I moved in the place was not too bad some things here and there but I didint think anything of it. When I moved out I made sure to clean everything get the carpets professionally cleaned. When they did their walk through they docked me for things that were the same as when I moved in. If renting from them I would make sure the place is spotless and everything is in working order and take pictures of the place when you move in.

Aim Rental Properties

Good morning Nathan. You viewed the home prior to your move in and seemed to be very happy with not only your move in, but your entire residency at our property. We emailed over to you your move in checklist you turned in on 10/28/16 and the photos of your move out inspection showing the reasons you were charged $120.00 for cleaning (not the additional $275.00 in wall washing and window washing that was needed, which you were not charged for), AC filter, bedroom screen and blind wand with slats. You will see that what you were charged for was not on your move in checklist.

Experiencia fantástica: Aim has been professional and accessible in every interaction we have had with them. The property is well maintained, and when we have had problems, they have been fixed quickly with no questions or hassle. We have mostly worked with Mandy and Maggie, but everyone in the office has been personable and respectful, and I recommend them strongly.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible customer service!!! Constantly were rude, took forever to do any maintenance, definitely do not recommend renting from them!!

Aim Rental Properties

Hello Alexis, We are sorry to see how your mom has now involved you in this matter. When ever maintenance was called in it was handled by licensed professionals in a timely fashion. We have always been respectful and in turn we are constantly hung up on and cursed out when your mom does not get her way. Just today alone your mom has called twice and screamed at my staff regarding her move out procedures and rent due and then hung up. We are sorry to see you are upset due to the 60 day notice being served to vacate the home, but we hold tenants responsible for the lease agreements they sign and their actions thereafter. Unauthorized animals, constant late rents, and visible damages to the property are just a few reasons you received notice to vacate. Good luck with the move into your new home, I look forward to receiving my keys on Monday :)

Jordan Figlioli Publicada en Google

Experiencia negativa: This property management company is HORRIBLE to rent from. Just to write a short list, when we moved in there were rats, rat poop on the cabinets, cockroaches, our cabinets/counters were filthy, our dishwasher and sinks were leaking, light bulbs were either missing or broken, our thermostat and heat were broken, there were holes in the walls (where rats were getting through), there was trash in the front and back yards, and there were several broken outlets and cable ports. Further, it's now been 90 degrees for the past two weeks and they still refuse to turn on our A/C. They are unresponsive and hostile to their tenants, and don't care about anyone but themselves and their needs. If you're coming to 29 Palms or Yucca Valley, DO NOT purchase/rent a property managed by them.

Aim Rental Properties

Hello Jordan and Susan! Thank you for your review as you have now made good on your threats/bullying tactics from this morning, per your conversation with our residential manager. Your unit was professionally cleaned three times and carpets were professionally cleaned twice, as well as touchup painting done throughout the home and landscaping, all performed by licensed and respected local businesses. We went above and beyond and held the unit for over a month (without additional fees) to assist you with your relocation into the area around the New Year, so there was bound to be some dust and dirt blowing into the unit and trash blowing into the yards with the winds we are known to have. The previous tenants who had lived in the home, who were also that of military, never reported any sort of rat/rodent issue, plumbing or electrical issues. However, we did respond quickly and sent out licensed contractors to handle all requested repairs in a timely fashion. Now as I stated earlier to both of you, swamp cooler lists have already been given to contractors assigned and they will be making contact with you to open the cooler, most likely within the next couple of days. Unfortunately, we do not own your home, nor do we own the contracting companies assigned to open swamp coolers so we don't have the authority to just tell a contractor what to do and when to do it. We order a service and have to wait our turn like everyone else. However, the hostility, threats made (bad reviews, word of mouth, etc. until we open coolers) and the disrespect displayed to our management staff this morning was uncalled for and completely unacceptable.

Experiencia negativa: The women run this business treat their tenants like they are trash. Only the owners get respect.

Aim Rental Properties

Hi Lisa! You came to our office needing a home. We get you into one. You started damaging your home and then turn around and file for bankruptcy to avoid an eviction for non payment of rent, but we were one step ahead. You were evicted and caused damages to our unit. So please tell me where that earns respect? We respect our homeowners and our tenants, trying to ensure that a tenant gets quality living and a homeowners investment is protected. Thank you for taking the time to review and letting our homeowners and future tenants know we will protect our properties and uphold lease agreements signed.

Experiencia negativa: This place is horrible! Dont expect to get anyone with a brain in this office, including and mostly the agent that makes the decisions. I spent several weeks trying to rent a property from them. I applied before anyone else did and i had to send my application fee in the mail because they dont accept it online. In the meantime, they accepted TWO OTHER applicants before my fee arrived in the mail. I had already filled out my application and they knew my fee was coming in the mail. so i called to see if they recieved my fee and they told me that they were working on two applicants BEFORE ME. so i had to wait to see if one of them was gonna be approved. i waited and then called them back a few days later and they told me that one was denied and the other pulled out. iT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE if they would have called ME and told me that the other applicants fell through. they shouldnt have accepted these other applicants before mine anyway! and i was up front about a credit issue i had, THAT I HAD PROOF that it was a fraudulent collection. I told them i was receiving cash aid BEFORE hand and the agent says that i didnt have enough income and she said that it was because they didnt count the cash aid cus they didnt know if i would still get it when i moved to their county, WELL DUH, OF COURSE I WOULD STILL GET IT, i would still have all of the same qualifications when i move there! and lastly, she said i didnt have a rental reference! WHAT?? I HAVE THREE YEARS at my current address of PERFECT RENTAL PAYMENTS!!! what do you mean i have NO RENTAL REFERENCE??? i emailed these people tons of times and didnt get responses to many questions. I called them continuously and told them things and asked them questions and never got straight answers. I asked them if my portion of the application was good before i sent them another thirty bucks for my daughters application and they said i was good. I was misled for THREE WEEKS and they waited till the last day before their Christmas vacation to tell me that i was denied for UNFAIR AND UNTRUE REASONS! TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL! And to top it all off, the agent didnt even call me to clarify any of these reasons that i was denied. Just take your money and deny you, thats what this company did to me! DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

Experiencia fantástica: I have nothing to say negatively about this rental management office. The ladies that run it are very professional (and understanding) and have provided nothing but a timely and well preformed service for myself and my family.

Kathy Berardino Publicada en Google

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT USE AIM DO NOT EVEN MAKE CONTACT This management business obviously does not have any concern for property owners who entrust them to manage their properties. BEWARE IF YOU ARE A TENANT. I discovered that the female employees at AIM had begun to not only discuss my personal business with the rest of their staff but became involved in my personal life. I never even had any personal contact with anyone from their office until I received a call from Mandy. She began to accuse me falsely of coming to their office and calling them threatening them. She sounded like a crazy psycho, so I got off the phone with her ASAP. I Came home a few months later to all of my belongings being moved out by movers! My rent has never been in the rears and I've never er received any complaints. The police stopped the moving of my belongings. They had told the police I had abandon my apartment. I was told I had to go I to their office and find out WHY?? MANDY said that she had given my roommate a 70 day notice to vacate. I never had been served a notice. Although a 60 day notice to vacate premises does not require an explanation, Mandy was all to eager to give me her reason as to why she did this and in the presence of others in the office and my neighbor, began to falsely accuse abuse me of crimes of violence and other crimes of moral deviance. This is undoubtedly the most horrible thing I can say has happened to my life in many years. I couldn't stay in my house, my belongings weren't there for the most part and I was afraid of AIM employees. Now locks are changed and I'm staying with a friend trying to resolve this legally. One thing on my side, they tend to forget that when you lie, blatantly, and with malice it tends to catch up with you. As I read from reviews all over the Internet, this isn't their first rodeo. How can their company consistantly receive the lowest ratings possible? Because you can't give a negative five! Complaints of personal nastiness and violations of the law? If you have been victims of AIM I urge you to report this to the legal authorities and complain to every real estate organization to call them out on their ethics. Or rather their extreme lack of ethics.

Aim Rental Properties

Hello Kathleen. Yes you were served a 60 Day Notice to Vacate as required by California Law and at the home owners request due to the extreme violence taking place in your unit between you and your roommate (police report records will reflect) as well as the harassment on your end of the home owner. 10 days after the notice was personally served to your roommate you came into the office and received another copy of the notice as well as your lease agreement and then proceeded to harass the entire staff. After the home was surrendered possession of (with some belongings still in place) our office spent 3 weeks making one appointment after another with you, all of which you didn't show up for until we told you crews would be disposing of the items left behind and your "neighbor" removed all of your belongings. My staff never touched your belongings. Then the items sat in front of the property for an additional 3 days. When trash out crews showed up to remove the items scattered on the property you called the police and the officer responding instructed you the belongings and your vehicle should have been gone yesterday. There was no malice, and the performance of A.I.M. Rental Properties was 100% legal and done by the book. We are a company that is diligently doing their job by protecting a home owners investment as well as the well being and safety of the other tenants in place.

Experiencia negativa: Find any reason to give you notice to move out

Aim Rental Properties

Hello Demarius. There were very specific reasons as to why you were served notice to vacate. As previously stated the large amount of trash and debris that you consistently have in your back yard, the damages to the interior and exterior of your unit and the unauthorized animals on the property all played a factor as to why you were asked to move. We do wish you the very best with your future endeavors.
