Fantastic experience: We just sold our home of 30+ years with Nick and Kate of the Strange team. They made the whole process stress-free seamless and extremely positive! We sold our house in 28 days after only seven showings when the average is around 10 to 12 we couldn’t have been happier!

Positive experience: We recently sold our home with the strange team, and although we did sell our home which was our end goal we were quite disappointed in the ending of our interactions. Communication was not as consistent as it was in the beginning, didn’t feel like Nick was as responsive, didn’t let us know he wouldn’t be joining us for closing and not even a thank you for the business. Personally, I would not recommend this agency.

Fantastic experience: Worked with Nick on the sale of my home. He did exactly what he said , couple Minor hiccups that he handled professionally and got us to the finish line. I bought my house with the strange team and sold with them 10 years later. Deal with confidence!

Negative experience: Someone from this organization cold-called me asking about if I had property to sell. I have been on the do not call list since 2009. I don't think it's professional to just call random numbers in a geographical area in an attempt to buy or sell property. I consider this a form of harassment.

Positive experience: The Strange Team did work hard at times to sell the home I had in Colorado. There was a struggle around communication at times; however, Alan addressed the situation himself to get things resolved. The only real issue was the length of time it took to sell the house (almost 9 months), which was difficult financially since we were living in another state, paying rent for a house until ours was built, on top of paying the mortgage on the home we were selling, paying utilities for the home being sold, and paying HOS fees. I did not get the feeling like that all of that was being taken into account during the process sometimes.

Fantastic experience: After we sold our business and retired this past June, we realized that another move was in our future as we decided to leave the Colorado winters and move to the Gulf coast. Alan, Kate, Mary and the team who helped us sell the home we bought less than 7 years ago hit the challenge head on and made the move to the Gulf Shores area just 7 miles from the white sand beaches possible. It was a challenging sale with the interest rates as high as they had gotten and our home not being the typical two story, three bed home but Alan and the Strange team got it done and here we are in our new forever home at 77 degrees and blue skies in early March. Fantastic experience: Nick Folkedahl with The Strange Team did an exceptional job helping repeat clients of mine relocate to the North Metro area of Denver. Nick successfully helped get their contingent offer accepted while we helped them sell their current home in Southern California. The results of Nick's work ethic, process and connections speak for itself with another successful closing. Their CA home closed on 3/20/23 and their new CO home closed on 3/21/23. If you're a first time buyer that's already familiar with CO or a first time CO buyer from out of state, you should call Nick. Prior to referring our clients to him we interviewed Nick. He wasn't pushy, asked good questions, offered suggestions and followed up in a meaningful way. What's more important is that when we followed up with our clients they had a very similar response when describing their experience working with Nick. As a result, all of our future buyer referrals to CO will be heading Nick's way.

Negative experience: I am a personal friend of a seller that was consistently contacted by Nickolas Folkedahl as a representative of an interested investor for the listed property. Initially , Nickolas consistently inquired and made offers on the listed property that were respectively declined. Nickolas consistently ignored the listing agent’s private remarks with full knowledge his offers were required to be presented to the Seller. Eventually Nickolas made an offer that was acceptable to the Seller last week, it was inclusive of Nickolas self serving terms, but the Seller agreed to accept. Nickolas agreed to an Inspection and earnest money deposit with an agreed upon deadline. The Seller’s Realtor was concerned with the impending predicted weather report and made several attempts to contact Nickolas to see if he would like to reschedule in an attempt to comply with the agreed upon deadline. Nickolas went silent and failed to respond to any messages. Meanwhile the Title company is making preparations for an expedient closing per Nickolas term of the contract, again Nickolas went silent and failed to respond to the title company. Eventually, Nickolas contacted the Realtor for an extension, my friend ( the seller) agreed. An inspection was scheduled, but it was a No-Show, Nickolas did not respond to messages. Eventually, Nickolas sent a Contract Termination for the property for “failing to meet an inspection” that was “NEVER “ performed. Nickolas avoids communication and follow up with appropriate professionals unless he requires additional information that is conducive to him. His inconsiderate professional and ethical representation have led to my friend’s home being under a pretentious and shrouded contract that inhibited serious offers & contracts, and uncompensated work performance on behalf of the title company due to his negligent disregard and disrespect for moral and ethical considerations on behalf of the Seller and their team. I would not recommend Nickolas to anyone, nor would I trust him as an Agent.

Fantastic experience: I’ve worked with the Team several times over the past 3 years, and it’s always been a good experience. Two years ago after my house had been on the market for over a year without an officer I tried out Adam with the Strange Team and my house sold within 10 days. Recently, Dave helped me buy my new home which I just love and then sold my house very quickly in a rapidly changing market. I would definitely recommend them.

Negative experience: If you’re a bogus buyer who enjoys making multiple offers on properties you have no intention of purchasing, The Strange Team at Keller Williams Preferred Realty is for you. If you appreciate professionalism and communication, look elsewhere. Nick Folkedahl represented a flipper who made four offers on a house we had listed. We accepted the fourth offer. After we were under contract, we never heard from Nick. He did not return calls from our Realtor. The earnest money deadline and inspection termination deadline came and went, and Nick was nowhere to be found. Nick’s client clearly never intended to close this deal and Nick’s failure to communicate wasted our time, as well as the time of everyone else involved in this failed transaction.
