Fantastic experience: We were looking for a home that felt right for our baby girl and in a neighborhood where we felt comfortable sending her to school. Our realtor, Giuliana, was incredibly patient with us throughout the entire process. We were first-time homebuyers using a first-time homebuyer loan, which can be very strict and particular about the condition and structure of homes, and she guided us through it all without making us feel overwhelmed. She also went above and beyond by helping us find a mortgage lender who was extremely helpful and made the financing process much smoother. We truly appreciated her support, dedication, and patience from start to finish and would highly recommend working with her.

Negative experience: We didn't feel accommodated and felt like our issues were dismissed. Poor communication that was often late. We worked with Morgan Hollenbeck.

Fantastic experience: I worked with Ivanna when I am buying my first condo. She is so professional, I followed her advice on choosing my lender, inspector and the other services. They work great as a team. I had a bad experience in the past with another realtor but Ivanna calmed me down and explained all steps to make everything clear. Fantastic experience: We used Madison Scully as our agent for the first time ever buying a home. To say she went above and beyond is an understatement. Madison was so responsive, kinda, optimistic, and intelligent in her craft. We definitely wouldn’t have gotten the home we are closing on without her. My finance and I work very stressful jobs that take up so much of our time and Madison never failed to go the extra mile to make process so easy. Whenever we decide to upgrade to a bigger home in the future, Madison will be our first call.

We encountered some significant curve balls in the process, and Joy helped us navigate them successfully. We highly recommend her and are so grateful that she was with us throughout this process!

Negative experience: I had a disappointing and horrible experience with a realtor named Morgan Hollenbeck that I chose to be my realtor. I would tell her what I was looking for in a home and most of the homes she would show me was either not what I wanted or she wasn’t more assertive in putting my offer in as a first time homebuyer. Then she always had somewhere to be instead of there with me looking at these properties which was concerning, then once I found a home and had the home inspection she should of listed in the purchase and sales agreement that the seller pay to have each serious item paid to the full amount of work that needed to be completed. Instead they left $1600 for a $5000 job. Then to deal the deal she never sent me a homebuying gift. I will never do business with her again and tell everyone how she got a great commission off me but service was awful.

Fantastic experience: As a loan officer, I understand that communication and attention to detail are keys to any successful transaction. With recently having had the opportunity to work with Cheyann, I can't give her and the Westcott Properties team enough credit. Cheyann is calm under pressure, sets expectations and has excellent follow-through. She broke things down and cadenced information perfectly so that our first time home buyers were not overwhelmed by the process. Fantastic experience: I’d give more stars if it was an option. Joy Riley wasn’t only a pleasure to work with, as I felt her help was truly a gift. She sets herself aside from everything I know about realtors. She has helped friends (who thought they could never own their own home), find homes, and begin to live a higher quality of life. I thought I’d be renting forever, and a good friend(who she helped buy her first house)pushed me to meet her. I went in so skeptical, and left our agreement owning my dream home. The process dragged on, because she was patient and helped me over hurdles that other realty companies wouldn’t stay on the phone with me for a couple minutes for. She changed my life in ways I couldn’t imagine happening. All this, over the phone, with no personal connection. Her team/coworkers all helped me as well. Fantastic experience: My wife and I rented and purchased through Westcott Properties. We rented between 2017-2020. As tenants, we worked with Melissa for seeing the apartment, and she was our point of contact whenever we needed help after we moved in. Service requests were always timely, and the person who helped (Manny) was great! The property was kept in great condition - outside and inside was well maintained. Handling of security deposits was flawless, which is usually a point of stress as a tenant but we had faith that Westcott could be trusted in this regard. We decided to buy a house in 2019 and worked with Melissa from Westcott for that as well. We were first-time home buyers and Melissa did a great job talking about what to expect, especially when it came to the reality of shopping in a tight market as first-timers. Our purchase in 2019 didn't work out (that's not on Westcott, the sale just fell through for other circumstances), but we picked back up with Melissa in 2020 and closed on a property in East Providence that April. Melissa made the process enjoyable along the way, which says a lot since it's a tedious process! We've been in that house for three years now and still love it. When it comes to renting, Westcott's properties are well maintained and lovely apartments that I highly recommend. If you are a buyer, I can also recommend Westcott to look out for you during the process.

It was an unusual (or perhaps not?) situation having to sell my mom’s house upon her move into assisted living. Bad market timing but Joy was available to guide me through the process of things to take care of, like removing items from the home, cleaning etc. I would not otherwise know where to start. Joy also very understanding of the peculiar situation of my mom, listening to my concerns and offering assurances. I would not ordinarily expect that from a real estate agent.

Negative experience: I'm a tenant renting through Westcott. This is the worst rental experience I've ever had. I cannot believe the lack of professionalism, lack of helpfulness, and unfriendly attitude I've experienced from the staff. The person I unfortunately have to work with has even yelled at me on the phone. My apartment was not clean when I moved in. I even found an old, USED condom on the vents of the floor heater in one room - this place wasn't cleaned at all between tenants! Do NOT rent through them. Run far, far away in the other direction. I'm counting down the days until my lease is up.

Fantastic experience: Joy Riley was a pleasure to work with, a consummate professional when selling our home. She gave us many tips and pointers on how to stage our house for the highest dollar. She did not promise of course, but she did hit the mark and deliver what she said was possible. Very happy with the service she provided and would work with her again!

Negative experience: Do not expect any professionalism from Westcott properties. They had private communications with one(1) singular person on my lease, allowed that person to break lease, and found another tenant to replace that person. Landlord did not inform other tenants, and did not provide a new lease including the new tenant, or having removed old tenant. Landlord then allowed the tenant (with no lease) to stay past the end of the two tenants (who had a lease). I would highly recommend looking to find other lease options, or if you are looking to buy, finding other options.

Fantastic experience: I have to say that Kristina goes above and beyond helping you with the purchase of your house. She shows that she truly cares and makes sure you are going in the right direction towards your goal and she is very nice!

Negative experience: They took over 1 month and a half just to give me back my deposit. They are trying to sell houses in super bad condition. They are liars.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience selling my house with Wescott properties. Joy and her team worked very hard and were always on top of everything through the whole process. Working with Joy was great she has a ton of knowledge in what she does. Joy just went above and beyond to get the job done and make everyone happy with the transition. If you ask my opinion buying or selling a property will be one of your biggest investments in your whole life and personally there is not any other realtor that I would trust for guidance and advice from than Joy!

Negative experience: Bought a building from this company that was advertised as RP (residential/professional) when in fact it was R3 (3 stories of residences). I have had so many problems since then which have cost thousands of dollars to correct the situation. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Fantastic experience: I Personally met Joy, Had Great Conversations with her; i was in one of her real estate classes in 2013-2014. she is so pleasent and always willing to help you!; personally i love her as a person. and now talk about bussiness, shes AMAZING! honestly she was so upfront and direct with everything she does theres no grey when speaking to her or her staff everything is very black and white. i myself AM LOOKING for a home however what im looking for is not on the market esp i want a foreclosure. but a condo is hard to find!

Negative experience: Never answers called her assistant she put me on hold then transferred to joy and was hung up on. I've emailed her multiply times and called and left messages many times. The assistant was surprised when I called back and asked what that was about.(i was on a land line). There are some real issues going on over there and I don't know what it is.

Negative experience: If I could give this company zero stars, it would be one too many. I reported Ms. Riley to the DBR (the saga is too long to recount here but trust me, it was an amazing story) and at least got them to make her pay a fine. Every real estate professional I told about my story was hoping she'd lose her license because what she did to me wasn't out of the ordinary. Hopefully Citibank has ceased using this company to sell their REO properties.

Negative experience: this place is a joke!,they never even tried presented my offer to the ''bank'' owners of the property that i wanted to buy! ,instead they presented another offer from someone else three days later then mine!

Fantastic experience: Buying your first house can be a stressful process, but Westcott Properties did everything they could to make my experience as easy and smooth as possible! The house I fell in love with had a few issues that made it not quite as easy as a traditional sale, but everyone at Westcott was so knowledgeable and knew how to handle every bump that came our way! They never stopped advocating and fighting for what was best for me, and therefore I ended up with the house I wanted and a great deal to boot. I'd highly recommend Westcott Properties to anyone looking to buy a home!

Negative experience: Not at all happy with Westcott. We bid on a property first thing on a Monday morning. A few hours later we received a counter-offer, which we responded to - and accepted - within just a few minutes. We didnt hear anything at all until the following afternoon (even though our agent had left several messages) & when they finally contacted us it was to say that the seller accepted someone elses offer!! We were never even given a chance to outbid whoever "snuck in" & sealed the deal. Very upsetting, especially given the fact that we accepted their counter!! When all was said & done they basically said "too bad, its out of our control". We wont ever again even look at a property with their name attached to it .

Fantastic experience: Bought a house last year in North Providence with Melissa. It only took a month to find the house and a month to close. very easy process! Take the recommendations of loan officers and attorneys. using the right people make the process of buying a house a delight.
