Fantastic experience: My wife and I have worked with Encompass Real Estate twice, once to buy and once to sell. We worked with Nic and Channing, and we had an outstanding experience both times! Our neighbor listed their house for sale at the same time as us, their house had an identical layout. The Encompass team strategically positioned our listing and wisely used their connections to help us sell first and at a higher price than our neighbor.

Fantastic experience: I recently worked with the Encompass Group as a lender on a transaction. The property was an acreage in need of a new septic system and the closing timeframe was under 30 days, so I was bracing myself for a difficult and stressful transaction. In actuality, the closing process was as smooth as anything I've ever experienced. Nic Gulick and Channing Smith were both incredibly knowledgeable about every detail and their communication was consistent, helpful, and organized. Also, their transaction coordinator did an excellent job and was on top of every moving part and piece of paperwork needed. Working with the Encompass Group was an awesome experience and I cannot wait to have another transaction with their team. In 2018: Nic sold us our first family home just in time for our son to be born. I recommended him to my dad and Nic got his house sold in time for him to close on his new home in Florida. Negative experience: My review is based on a personal experience I had several years ago with an individual who currently works at Encompass Realty, Channing Smith, in a completely different professional setting. Based on my own interactions from that time, I formed a negative impression regarding professionalism and integrity. While people can certainly grow and change, my past experience left me with reservations. For that reason alone, I personally would be cautious in choosing to do business here. Others may have had different experiences, but I believe it is fair for consumers to consider past experiences when making decisions.

Not only to help navigate through the insanity but to truly have your best interest at heart and doing so with the heart of a "Teacher". Any Jabrone can put a "For Sale" sign in your yard and plug in numbers to a canned "offer form", but now more than ever it's paramount to have someone who A. Knows the Market B. Has the relationships in the Market and (most importantly) C. Will not "Blue Sky" you and tell you what you want to hear. Nic and Channing found us our perfect home, and assisted with the multiple offer process - after building a relationship with us and knowing this was "Our Home". On top of that ended up selling our current home for substantially over asking within the first weekend. Normally I am not one to write reviews and I don't think real highly of the realtor industry in general( 80% of realtors "Post and Pray" - Post a sign in your yard and pray another realtor sells it ) , but I would recommend these guys 10 times out of 10. They go above and beyond to find their clients their perfect home and maximize every dollar when selling yours. These guys are the real deal!

Fantastic experience: Nic and Channing make a wonderful team. They were always available to help and answer questions and offer advice regardless of the day, date, or time. They were patient as we decided whether we really wanted to sell our duplex and what type of house we wanted to buy and where. They showed us different styles of homes and listened to our feedback so they could update their recommendations/list of available homes that fit our needs and wants. They held open houses every week to help sell our duplex quickly. They were always pleasant and fun to be around and patient with my anxieties about the home selling/buying process and always offered solutions and reassurances. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy/sell.

Fantastic experience: We where looking to move to Iowa to be closer to my wife's family. Through a realtor in Kansas we got Nick's contact. Working out a home purchase remotely can be challenging. Added to that we were not sure where in Iowa to move, our search area was pretty large. It took us a few months but we got it done.. Through out it all Nick was very helpful. He offered helpful input without being pushy. He gave us good suggestions. He offered to do video walk through on any possible we were interested in. We can wholeheartedly recommend these guys and would be happy to work with them again in the future.
