Fantastic experience: We used Jill and her team to help sell a rental property. It took a long time, but not because of Jill or her team. There was a lot line dispute after we listed the property. Jill and her team were beyond patient while we got everything resolved. At first, we thought Jill was unreasonable with her suggestions about improvements we should make prior to listing the property. But, we completed the list "as assigned", and it made a very positive difference. Listen to the professionals! The house was empty when we were ready to sell. They staged it. It was nothing like anything that was previously there, but it made the house (on a lake) feel much brighter and contemporary. Jill has a good team. At times, I was frustrated that something I'd told one member didn't seem to be conveyed to others. But, there are also positives to having multiple team members. Darci was fantastic about coordinating everything. We have no reservations about recommending Jill and her team to our friends and neighbors. We'll use the team again ourselves.

Negative experience: Dysfunctional. Unresponsive. Unprofessional. My wife and I filled out the contact form on the website, which included that we are selling our house, our address, a message, and our preferred method of contact (email). Later that day, we received a cryptic text message asking for our address with no identification of any sort so we naturally ignored it. Later, that same person followed up so we asked who they were and they said Alex with the Jill Armstrong team. He also said he was only able to see part of the inquiry form we submitted (apparently not the part with our address or preferred method of contact). So we gave him our address and that was the last we heard from him. Six days later, we received a canned email from Darci asking if we have any "questions about the current market, are considering buying or selling, or simply want to explore your options". So apparently Darci did not see are inquiry form, either. We responded to her saying we're searching for a selling realtor and would like to set up a call to discuss next steps. We then received a reply from a third person who asked for some days and times that work for a call. We responded to that the same day and have not heard anything since. So, we filled out a form saying we're selling our house, we then were contacted by three different people, none of whom read our form and it's now been two weeks and we haven't heard anything additional from them. Overall, an awful experience and I can't imagine how poor they may be during the actual selling process (despite others' positive reviews).

Fantastic experience: An efficient, knowledgeable, and communicative team with many many connections in the area. Couldn’t ask for anything more in a realtor team. We used them to buy our house 5 years ago and used them to sell our house this year. Due to the skills of this team our selling and buying process was quick and easy. I highly recommend.

In 2025, when it was time to sell, it was a no brainer as to who to use to sell it. Jill and her team know the market in this area exceptionally well. Fantastic experience: Jill Armstrong is an incredibly professional, knowledgeable and successful realtor. We had listed our house earlier for 6+ months and were not successful selling it. Jill was our listing agent the second time around and we had multiple offers and sold the house a couple of days after listing. We knew we need to make so minor tweaks to make our house attractive to buyers. We were interviewing other realtors and Jill provided a punch list of items that needed to be fixed. We went with Jill since we saw her listing were staged the best and she does her own staging. The changes involved repainting the kitchen cabinets and all the baseboards and door trim to white color. She was in for several hours initially helping choose a color and then reviewing the work and identifying finishing updates that were needed. Once we choose Jill we were expecting someone in her team to do most of the discussions with us. On the contrary she was hands on making sure everything was coming out the way it should. Once her staging furniture arrived it was a multi-day process to set them up and make sure it was appropriate. Once done, the house looked completely transformed and we know it would attract buyers. I cannot say enough about how good she is at staging. Once the house was listed and offers started coming, Jill was in the middle of the conversation. She would call several times with updates and advice. This continued post sale as the inspection reports came in and house fixes were underway. She was simply the best. Positive experience: We used the Jill Armstrong team to buy our house in Cedar Rapids area. Professional and very responsive. We didn't live in the area and only could come up on weekends so they were really great about organizing multiple showings to fit our time constraints. Once we got to putting in an offer the negotiation process, we ran into some confrontation with our realtor. We were consistently told we didn't have any negotiation power and made to feel that we had to take the seller's price and Home condition as is. Conversation made it seem that our realtor was advocated more for the seller than for us. Not sure if I would work with again.

Next there is Neil Armstrong, Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day, Louis Armstrong, Antony Armstrong-Jones 1st Earl of Snowden, Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences David Malet Armstrong, the composer Craig Armstrong, and finally...the boxer Henry Armstrong. Fantastic experience: I met Jill in 2008 or so, again in 2013 and this year she sold our house. She's one of the hardest working agents in the Iowa City/Coralville/North liberty area year in and year out, for a good reason. She's not lazy. Straight shooter, no BS, listen to her advice and she will not steer you wrong. We had a difficult situation with a tenant in place and she managed the whole thing beautifully. And you get 5 people on her team, so someone will answer you email at 3am on a sunday and it will be accurate.
