Fantastic experience: Wow, where do we begin… from the beginning to the end, Trent’s involvement with our real estate transaction proved to be invaluable. As a family, we had much real estate background thinking we could translate it to a residential purchase, but boy were we wrong! We met Trent at an open house and casually discussed what we were looking for in a property. He picked up on it and off we went. We spent several weekends touring all types of houses to figure out specifically what we wanted. We learned about the market in different areas in San Diego. We soon had a clearer idea of what we envisioned, more specifically a property that had a value-add such as the potential for an ADU and/or garage conversion. By the time we got to tour the house we ended up buying, it was clear that this was the one. Then, the negotiations began. There were multiple offers, but Trent was able to advise us and work with the seller’s broker to allow us to make the best offer that the seller would accept. Without him, this deal would not have been possible. What stands out the most to us is Trent’s ability to navigate the entire process with a clear and calm demeanor. When we felt stressed or nervous, he was able to talk us through our concerns. On top of this, Trent was extremely organized and always available to talk and answer our endless questions. Trent answered all of my questions with diligence and advised me in areas I was unsure of. Despite his young age, he grew up in a real estate family and has the knowledge of a seasoned veteran. He's also worked for a mortgage company in the past, so he has connections and a good understanding of the process end to end. His main priority was making me feel comfortable in each step of the process. I was weary of a "salesy" real estate agent, but Trent is the opposite of that. He's down to earth, savvy and he hustles! I am a millennial and I wanted someone who it would be easy to communicate with. I really appreciate that he was always available - weekends, texts, calls anything I needed he was there. When I found a place I love, he helped me negotiate a great deal. He hustled to get the inside information from the seller's agent and advised me on what our best options were. I got an offer I'm really happy with and he even negotiated a credit. After the deal closed he helped me find a plumber to do some minor fixes before I moved in.
