Fantastic experience: Jesse and his team really know how to sell a property. They guided me through how to best get the property in shape for sale. They then did a superlative job posting public notices in a way that brought large numbers of potential buyers to the property during the open houses. Offers were much higher than we expected and we accepted an excellent offer just a few days after the property went on sale. Finally, Jesse kept us informed of progress daily right up until the sale was officially recorded and the funds distributed.

Fantastic experience: If you plan to buy a house, do yourself a service and hire Jesse. I make snap decisions, I found a house online and wanted to make an offer immediately. Jesse helped me pace myself…he spent an hour with my husband and I, walking through the property helping us make a list of pros and cons. He encouraged us to continue our search even after we made an offer. He wasn't interested in making a quick commission, he wanted to help us find the right home! We did end up making an offer and it was accepted. If that were the end of the story, I would say that Jesse is a wealth of knowledge, he addresses all aspects of a house (not just the aesthetic), and he is more interested in helping you make the right decision than a quick decision. Unfortunately, that was only part of the story. The current pandemic slowed our loan and the number of mistakes made by our mortgage broker were beyond frustrating. The seller could have walked away. If it were not for Jesse's vigilance, I am sure he would have. If you want someone that has your best interest in mind, choose Jesse. Buying a home isn’t about luck, it’s about the person you choose to represent you.

Fantastic experience: Jesse made the home buying process so incredibly easy without any hassle. He answered my calls at night and on the weekends. He was always available to me. I was nervous and anxious throughout the process and he put me at ease. He worked so hard calling the agent directly to try to get my offer accepted and he walked me through everything step by step. I have already recommended Jesse to my friends and family and will absolutely use him again!

Negative experience: Jesse Salas was referred to me by Harcourts Auctions. After Jesse raved about how amazing he was with relistings I decided to give him a chance. The first sign was I asked if he could pay the $250.00 auction fee. Not because I didn’t want to pay, but it just seemed like a unneeded charge. He refused to. Which didn’t sit well with me. He said because the last time he did that the seller cancelled their listing with him. And so he was out the $250.00 (He has the potential of making $50K-$100K in commission with my house and he is concerned about a $250.00 investment to not come back to him) Umm ok. Once the listing went live Jesse kept showing up in a older suv that kept leaking oil all over my driveway pavers. We had an offer come through with our previous agent. He didn’t want me to even respond to the offer in fear that he would lose out on his commission because the commission would go to the previous agent. He agreed with me that it was a low ball offer. ($200K under current comp value to be exact) But then once he said he had another buyer, that offer was only $20K more then the previous offer, he then was encouraging me to accept it. We kept our house available for him everyday. The last 4 showings, 3 of them cancelled. Ok if that was the buyers fault then ok. But 1 of them shows up at our doorsteps and wants to see the house. Our house is 5,300 sq ft. It is not easy to just get it ready for showings. It takes 4-6 hours to clean it. Plus we are a family of 5 so it takes a lot for us all to just leave the house. These buyers came from Orange County. Our house is in San Diego County. So of course these buyers wanted to see our house since they drove so far. Jesse said they cancelled but the buyers showed us their phone texts with Jesse and they never cancelled. Jesse lied. Then Jesse forced us to show the property even though it is not ready. He even had me do the tour instead of him coming to the house. Very unprofessional. The buyers were very mad that Jesse did not show up. The last straw was when Jesse yelled at me over the phone today and said that he has to be on egg shells when he talks to me and that our house is very hard to sell and we lost many buyers because I told him I could not show the property 1 day, yes only 1 day since it has been listed. And because of that we lost all of these buyers. The bottom line is that Jesse does not care about his clients time, he is very cheap, and he is a big liar. I caught him in so many lies I lost count. He also is unethical. I would not recommend Jesse Salas. Also the Harcourts Auction is just a little game they play. They rarely go to auction. It is just a way for them to have the seller list their property for 70% under current market value. Then you get all of these people come into your house that cannot even afford to pay market value or that think they are going to steal your property by only paying 70% of market value. Just list it normal. It also makes your property look bad. Like everyone kept asking what is wrong with the property. You do not need to be doing an auction. Especially in this booming market. He of course will not agree with any of this to keep up his good image and blame everything on me. But I didn’t write a negative review on the last 2 agents that listed our property. I actually have never written a negative review on any agent with any of my properties. And I am a international real estate investor that has dealt with a ton of agents throughout the last 20 years.
