Fantastic experience: Jodie was very professional in all matters regarding the sale of our home. In a moderately soft market, she was diligent in generating potential buyers using multiple resources in advertisement. In summary, we were very pleased with the entire process.

Negative experience: WARNING: THIS COMPANY WILL NOT DISCLOSE THAT A SELLERS HOME HAS NO HEAT WHICH IS ILLEGAL IN N.C.!!!

Negative experience: BANKS AND BUYERS BEWARE: Dallas Crisp was the listing agent and told my husband a bold faced lie to his face, saying the heat had been working. HVAC professionals said there is no way the heat ever worked, because the unit had never been converted from Natural Gas to Propane. Was also lied to when told we just had to transfer the warranty on the new unit to our names. Blueridge Furnaces and HVAC systems don't allow transfers on warranties. So we, as buyers are screwed because Dallas lied to our face. He didn't know if that unit ever worked, but said it did. Expect to hear from our attorney. And he better hope my husband doesn't find him. BANKS ARENT SUPPOSED TO GIVE MORTGAGES ON HOMES WITH NO HEAT. IT IS ILLEGAL.

Fantastic experience: We had an exceedingly positive experience with Andrea as our selling agent. He had the house staged and on the market within 10 days of us contacting him and was present for all on-site visits and tours. He was quick to respond, communicated clearly, and was very open to adjusting to our suggestions and preferences. We are grateful that the selling process went as smoothly as it did.

Vivien was very knowledgable about the housing market where I live and helped me arrive at at a asking price. I proceeded to prepare the house for showing and Vivien posted the house for sale in a short time. The house sold on the first day it was placed on the market, at a higher than asking price! Fantastic experience: A neighbor of ours was unable to sell their house with the assistance of two other realtors, until they found David Ide of Beverly Hanks who not only sold their house, but got them top dollar a few years back in a slow market. Knowing that, I stopped in to meet David and decided that day that he would be a good realtor for us too and he was. The qualities that stand out with David are professionalism, knowledgeable, hard-working and positive. As soon as we gave him the go-ahead, he got right to work with our marketing materials. He used a wonderful photographer who showed off our home so well. He communicated immediately whenever he had information he thought we should know, never leaving us wondering about anything. He also communicated really well with showing realtors. It's a hot market, obviously, but we had a big house to sell with a swimming pool which is not what everyone is looking for but David never let that get in the way. In less than a month we had multiple offers and we sold our house for a nice profit. We would definitely work with David again for future real estate needs. There's probably not a house out there that he cannot sell!

Fantastic experience: RE: Lauren Rippy Buying a home long-distance, sight-unseen is a harrowing thought. To do it is crazy! But we did, and with the assistance of our incredible realtor, Lauren Rippy, we came out looking anything but! We’d met Lauren and explored the area - Hendersonville/Flat Rock for several days - even tried to make viable offers to two sellers (to no avail). Upon returning to Texas we continued to watch the listings as they appeared on-line. When the home we DID purchase showed up we were several weeks away from any hope of a return trip to the area to see a property. Lauren did a video walk-through for us. We made an offer, unsure if it would be accepted, and waited a day to see if we’d have to consider raising the offer, and VOILA! We had a house! Lauren is professional, thoughtful, pays attention to client wants and needs.

Fantastic experience: Janet Gregg was an absolutely phenomenal agent in every sense from beginning to end. From walking the very first home we saw back in July 2019 to our closing and move in at the end of September 2019, Janet went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were comfortable, understood everything going on, and could juggle pregnancy, a move, and two full time jobs. Janet acted on our behalf to ensure everything was done for our own home sale and for our new home. She even went so far as to take our dog on walks during walkthroughs when neither of us could get back from our jobs in time. She even offered (and did) help us clean our house during move out! Honestly, we could not have had a better experience buying our second home, and 95% of that was having Janet Gregg and Beverly Hanks on our side. This is the second time we've used Beverly Hanks, and we'll continue to recommend them to anyone who asks!

Negative experience: The interactions we had with the realtor Vivian Fey were at best shady, dishonest, and misleading. We caught her lying to us about repairs that were supposed to be completed but were not and had to get a re-inspection for them to actually do the repairs. They then said the repairs were completed by a licensed contractor; I looked him up and he was not a licensed contractor. They then said the repairs and fixes would be completed by the closing date We checked and they appeared to be completed. The very first time we tried to use the bathtub that appeared to be fixed, it failed. They literally closed on the house, took our cash, would not give us the keys until the end of the day, and now are not willing to follow through on the contract. We contacted the seller and were told that everything was fixed, so too bad. We were told to wait a while to let our home warranty kick in and make a claim. There is a contract that states these repairs are mandatory. I suppose contracts are no longer of value with them.

Fantastic experience: If anyone needs to buy or sell a house please don’t hesitate to call David Gregg with Beverly Hanks!!! This guy should be the model for all realtors!! He is an absolutely amazing realtor and person!! He will break his back for every client to make sure they have as smooth as possible transition into selling or buying!! He was a dedicated agent on our behalf and a fabulous tour guide as we traversed much of five counties searching for our permanent home.
