Fantastic experience: One of the best parts about working with Jeff and Janette at Candler Vidal Real Estate is having two real estate agents, so they are always available. There were times I was like, are we the only ones they are working with? That is how quickly they would respond to us. We were introduced through my wife’s coworker who had worked with them, and honestly, it was such a relief after starting with another realtor who just was not being very encouraging or helpful. Both Jeff and Janette are incredibly knowledgeable about the local real estate market, and what really stood out was that Janette actually owns investment properties herself. She is not just selling homes to people, she is buying houses too, so she understands the financial aspect and has great resources. As first-time home buyers, we put an offer on one house, did inspections, and realized it was not the one for us. I thought that could be frustrating for real estate agents, but Janette was perfectly fine moving forward to look at other houses with us and handled all the paperwork to cancel that deal. They did not act annoyed at all; they just wanted to make sure we were happy with our home purchase. We saw seven or eight houses over about three months, and having two realtors made life a lot easier. I would definitely recommend Jeff and Janette with Candler Vidal and use them again for any future real estate needs.

Fantastic experience: Jeff Candler is one of the most honest people I've ever met, both professionally and personally. His integrity is unmatched and he does everything by the book with no shortcuts. When we wanted a second home in the North Carolina mountains at Nantahala Village Resort (about an hour and a half from our primary residence), I was initially skeptical. We actually lost out on the first property we bid on, even though we offered above asking price. Instead of giving up, Jeff took incredible initiative. He reached out to EVERY cabin owner in the resort and sent letters saying he had interested home buyers. Because of this extra step, we found our perfect vacation cabin that wasn't even on the market. His sense of urgency and availability to answer questions was fantastic. Working with Jeff through Candler Vidal was a great experience. He was always one step ahead, whether it was connecting us with local utility providers, providing information about high-speed internet options in rural areas, or acting as a liaison with the seller. Jeff was very professional in all his correspondence with us and everyone else involved. We're absolutely thrilled with our mountain getaway, and it wouldn't have been possible without Jeff's initiative and dedication.

I was dealing with a complicated home sale with higher needs than normal, and from the very beginning, they made everything easy, helping me navigate the real estate process while always being on my team and ready to go to bat for me. Selling my home before buying another added a whole new layer of stress. Janette and Jeff made sure I was taken care of the entire time and helped me find a home I could realistically afford. Even when Hurricane Helene hit our area, right in the middle of my house hunting, they remained completely dedicated, available & happy to help. Janette's own home was affected (they lost their bridge!), but even then she showed up 100 percent. They're a great team too & one (or the other) was always ready to help schedule a showing. I went from feeling stuck to moving easily and pretty stress-free through what could have been a nightmare. They were there every step of the way. I've worked with other real estate agents before who were great, but Janette and Jeff were next level. Just genuinely honest, caring people committed to their service. I would recommend them hands down to anyone!! I couldn't have asked for a better real estate team.

From selecting a home to answering every single one of my questions quickly and knowledgeably, she ensured that I was able to purchase and move into my new home with minimal stresses (well, with as minimal stress as purchasing a home can have anyway!). I’ve dealt with realtors who are only in it for the money (and it’s their job, I get it) but it’s nice to have someone who cares about the work they do and finding the right home for the right person. I had such a great experience with Janette that I’ve recommended her to three other friends and family members who have all loved their new homes and had an easy drive up there thanks to Janette.
