Other family members, also, relocated to Southern, CA, over the years, most recently my mother-in-law. It was at that point, the decision was made to sell my mother-in-laws home. Hal Knopf was synonymous with Nathans, a long established restaurant, back then and still there in a smaller footprint, in Oceanside, NY know for frankfurters, hamburgers, fries and seafood. When the decision was made to sell my mother-in-laws home, I contacted them, little known to me at the time, that Hal Knopf passed away several years ago and his daughter, Cory, took over the business. Although I never knew or met Hal, I spoke to Cory, at length. When we spoke, it was like I knew her and the entire family for decades. We reminisced about the area, the people, the restaurants etc. I/we decided to move forward with Cory, without any hesitation, and it was the best decision we made with respect to selling this home. Fantastic experience: I just wanted to say THANK YOU to Hal Knopf Realty and Cory Knopf with all of their help selling my house (which closed yesterday). Marsha Welikson and Donald Ringhauser are outstanding agents who obviously worked hard to sell my home. We listed on May 2, agreed to a price with the buyers by May 11, were in contract by May 22, and closed on July 23.
