Fantastic experience: I worked with Adam to find our first home. Adam start to finish (and even afterwards) took very good care of us. This is the kind of realtor you want working with you. He has a great sense of leverage and uses it, but also understands that there's a person on the other side of the deal. I feel he was able to work out some challenges that otherwise wouldn't have happened without that. I really like that he has a team around him, both within his firm and outside of it, to take care of things quickly (mortgage, roofers, handymen, etc). His relationship with these people accelerated quite a few things and resolved issues with the house quickly; some of which would have been very costly if not taken care of during negotiations. From the first casual mention that I might be able to buy a house over lunch in January to the close 2 days ago when Adam handed my wife and I our front door key and a bottle of champagne, Mr. Sloat has been a level headed and expert model of everything I imagined I would need from a realtor and so much more. He responded to every communication we initiated quickly and empathetically, he walked us through every step - setting up every showing we requested, helping us to get clear on what we were looking for, making offers and negotiating the hellscape of Colorado real estate (where buyers make crazy cash offers over asking that we could not compete with), and moving smoothly through an amazing negotiation on our first home that ended up respectfully and thoughtfully addressing every item on our inspection that we asked to have addressed. He even connected us with a rock star lender that came through ahead of schedule on everything we needed despite our complicated financial history. At the end of the day everyone deserves a realtor like Adam Sloat. We’d use him again if we didn’t think we might have actually found our forever home thanks to his tireless efforts. Fantastic experience: We had such a positive experience working with Adam. He is knowledgeable, reliable and available whenever we needed information or guidance. We were moving from out of state, and although a little familiar with the area, we were unsure of exactly where we wanted to land. Adam was always ready and willing and even excited to show us new areas and homes that might be a good fit for us. Being a very nervous home buyer, Adam was there and readily available to give me advice and help me relax. As soon as we found the home that I wanted to make an offer on Adam was on top of the game.
