Fantastic experience: My parents were being forced to sell their retirement property, which they had worked hard for all their lives. It was devastating and very stressful at their age. They hoped to pass it to their grandchildren. I tried to comfort them, but I needed someone to come in and deal with this mess. Linnette took charge. My parents didn't want to sink money into it, but it had been a rental since the 1970s with little remodeling. She made minor improvements, staged it, and the property sold quickly at a good price. Linnette takes time to figure out what you want and what the strategy will be to achieve success. Rather than be reactive to the market when you are searching for your home, Linnette is proactive. She aggressively seeks out the intelligence needed to be the winning offer on a home that is on the market and/or finding potential off-market deals. She takes the time to really craft what a winning offer will be. In the bay area housing market, the name of the game is often speed; speed to find a home, speed to do the due-dilligence on what a winning offer looks like, and speed to communicate as a team in terms of when/how an offer will be made, as well as what the negotiation strategy will be if the situation becomes a counter-offer. I appreciated that Linnette and her team were basically available 24/7 to answer questions, provide critical information on the decision making process, and strike with the offer at the perfect time to make the deal happen. Slow reaction times can kill deals. Fantastic experience: I worked with Linnette Edwards to buy a home in the Bay Area, and I am very pleased with the place I ended up getting! Believe the other reviews: she is knowledgeable, proactive, a master negotiator (I got my place under asking price), and has a lot of helpful connections and references. Rather than repeat what everyone else is saying in their positive reviews (all of which I agree with btw!), I wanted to focus on one thing in particular, and that is Linnette's amazing ability to adapt to complications and work behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly. After agreeing on a purchase price with the seller, I hit a snag with my lender, and we had to further work out the details of my loan. This resulted in me having to repeatedly push the closing of my loan to later and later dates. I was concerned that the seller would get nervous this was taking too long, but Linnette took on this obstacle like a champ. She was in constant communication with my lender, the selling agent, and me, ensuring that nobody got cold feet and the deal would eventually go through, and as quickly as possible, given the circumstances. I actually never heard any complaints from the seller or their agent, and I firmly believe that if it weren't for Linnette, the deal would have collapsed and I wouldn't have the great home I have today. As much as we all want the home buying process to be smooth and stress free, it's important to be prepared for the unexpected, and Linnette is more than capable of handling any of the unexpected obstacles you may encounter on your journey to finding the perfect home for you!

Fantastic experience: The most recent surge in Covid cases across the US caused me to adjust my life in many ways. It hastened my decision to retire (now) and it further encouraged me to change my living circumstances.
