Fantastic experience: Joni and Bridget seem to make a great team. They were easy to work with, easy to get ahold of, and were always willing to make changes when we asked. They communicated well throughout the entire process and seemed to be at the top of their game. Their staging team was very professional and did a great job making our home look its best. They also worked with us while we still had a renter living in the efficiency portion of the house, coordinating open houses so we could give our renter plenty of notice. When our renter eventually moved out, Bridget even brought over a piece of her own furniture to help stage that part of the home. We were very satisfied with Joni and Bridget’s services and the job they did selling our home. They seem to really know their stuff, and we would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, responsive, and hardworking real estate team

Negative experience: In real estate, reputation is built on more than sales volume and numbers, it’s built on relationships. This agent’s approach was dismissive, entitled, and arrogant from the start, with communication that fell well short of basic professionalism and respect. There is always a way to engage with kindness, and that was notably absent here. In a tight knit community, this behavior is particularly surprising. In real estate there will inevitably come a time when relationships are all you have to carry you through. And the way you treated people when you were riding high will be obvious in who is willing to work with you.

Fantastic experience: We gladly recommend Kimmel & Young of Windemere Real Estate. They have a wealth of experience in the Kitsap area. Our family has used them for multiple home sales. They do a deep dive into pricing, tending toward realistic pricing based on market conditions. They provide references for skilled crafts to handle needed repairs as they participate in which repairs should be done. They recommend top of the line inspectors to recommend needed maintenance. (In our case the buyers waived their own inspection due to the quality of the one we hired). They keep the process moving forward in a timely manner. They are responsive to questions. They handle the staging and picture taking which is included in the fees. They are encouraging. In our case, our preference was in selling quickly at a decent price. The market wasn't great due to high interest rates and political situation, and we noticed that many homes on the market were lowering their asking sales price. As it turned out, we sold our home in six days at the full asking price.

Fantastic experience: Mathematically, I can't give a 10/5, however, 5/5 doesn't add up either. They truly are the best. Personally, we have known Bridget and Joni for over 45 years. Trust and integrity are two values embodied in Bridget and Joni. Professionally, they have helped us for 25 years achieve our real estate dreams. Buying and selling can be stressful; however, with these two, you know they will not add stress but will bring solutions. They will help you with services like staging your home to make it look beautiful and not add work to your already busy plate. They are communicative and will be straight with you to manage your expectations; they won't give you lip service and give you unrealistic numbers. They are closers who will find a way to work ethically and efficiently with your sale. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend working with Bridget, Joni, and team! We did a pre-inspection, they helped us find a handy man to fix a couple of things, they staged the house (it looked amazing), and we received 3 offers within ONE day of listing the house in January 2025. Working with them is so very easy. They have been in real estate for a significant amount of time and know what works for Kitsap County. Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience from start to finish. I worked primarily with Bridget. The few times she was otherwise occupied, Joni stepped right in without missing a beat. My house was definitely not perfect, but these pros helped focus my efforts and resources for maximum impact. If you listen and follow their lead, you’ll get a lot out of your selling experience - and I’m not just talking about profits. They stopped by at one point because “they were in the area.” I could tell this was a ruse concocted by caring people who genuinely wanted to lift my spirits in what is truly a difficult process: packing and prepping a home. Fantastic experience: When we decided to take another run at selling our house and property, four of our neighbors said there was only one group to consider for the listing. That was Kimmel and Young Windermere Real Estate. They had sold four homes on our street and they would be very prepared to represent our house. After a number of conversations and after considering their sales approach and documents we decided to go for it. Fantastic experience: We worked with Sheenah Hellmers to find our dream home and she was nothing short of fabulous! We moved here from out of state and were worried we’d be waiting a long time to get a home in this crazy market, but that was definitely not the case with Sheenah on our side. Fantastic experience: Working with Kimmel and Young to sell our old house and buy our new house was the best decision we could have made! Joni & Bridget met with us, reassured us, talked us through every aspect of putting our house up for sale in this aggressive market! They were professional, down to earth and caring through every step. The "play-book" of things to do when getting ready to sell our house was a treasure trove of information. Fantastic experience: Kimmel and Young is the best real estate team in Kitsap! We recently sold our home in Poulsbo while living out of state. Bridget and Joni handled every detail from staging to paint to minor repairs and even lawn care. We did not have to worry about a single thing. The house hit the market in pristine condition and with a well thought out sales strategy that brought us four above asking offers in less than five days. Communication from everyone on their team was excellent. Marleen and Veronica were a joy to work with and kept us informed every step of the way. The entire sale was absolutely flawless.
