Negative experience: I had a frustrating experience with this property management group. While their mandatory inspections may be legal, they create an uncomfortable and distrustful dynamic with tenants. At move-out, they seem to look for any reason to keep as much of the security deposit as possible—I was charged over $300 for “damages” even though the property was left in great condition (it was regularly professionally cleaned as an Airbnb, and the only change I made was minor TV mounting holes). On top of that, they added a $70 charge to my rent without clearly communicating it beforehand after I asked about trimming a large palm tree. Overall, their lack of transparency and communication feels sneaky and unprofessional. I would not recommend renting through them.

Fantastic experience: I used Heather and her team first for property management then as my sales agent. She is excellent! She truly managed our property by handling all repairs and upkeep to my higher-end property with a pool. She handled our difficult tenant with respect and kept us always in line with rules and regs. Her communication skills and knowledge of the industry are top notch. That is why we continued using her for the sake of our property. Wow! Did she knock it out of the park! She coordinated all repairs after the tenant left, handled my pickiness with quality of repairs and my vision for the house, was spot on for pricing the house, got two offers on the house on the second day, negotiated favorable for us, stayed on top of all of the inspections and items that needed to be done, and helped us close early. She is a tiger for her clients and is someone you should want to represent you! An absolute rock star!!!

Fantastic experience: We live in San Diego and were looking to purchase a rental property in Yuma in July of 2022. On 7/1/22, Jared drove us around to see several houses. We put an offer in for one a day or two later. We signed escrow and had our keys to the house on 7/29/22!!! We are currently looking for another house in Yuma to purchase, which is not an easy task the way the market is today - and is even more challenging to do from another state!!! Jared has made himself available at ALL times either by text or calls, providing us with any/all information we have requested. Just last weekend we last minute asked if he was available to just drive us through "desirable" areas, so we would be familiar with the location of properties as they become listed for sale. He spent over 3 HOURS on Saturday, driving with us through SEVERAL neighborhoods and patiently waited as we walked through 2 model homes. He knows exactly what our "must have" and "no ways" are, which gives me peace of mind, knowing that should something come on the market and having to move quickly, he would be able to advise us to "never mind" or "come out now"! Thank you Jared for working with us so diligently once again! Thank you Heather, for having such great staff to work with! Jared is a true gem!

Negative experience: This is not the business. Very unprofessional and waste of time and money. I felt like I was scammed.

Negative experience: Would not rent with company. Be prepared to lose half your rental deposit for cleaning service upon move out. I lived there for just over a year. Upon move-out, the house was professionally cleaned and landscaped. They waited a week to conduct the move out inspection where they charged 200 to clean the house, and 80 to landscape the yard. I disputed the invoice returned with what was left of my deposit with Jared (property manager). He showed me a picture of an overgrown lawn. I explained that on my move out date it was landscaped, but of course after a week of no one living there the lawn will be overgrown again (they also told me to keep the sprinklers on). He blew that off. I showed pictures of the home, where it was cleaned…he blew that off. Now it will be disputed with an attorney. I would not trust them. Rental companies will find any excuse to hold on to YOUR money. Snakes in the grass.

Negative experience: I am not pleased with how my application was handled by Heather's property management team. I would not recommend this company to others. Heather thank you for your response,however, I'll pass on working with your company. I decided to lease elsewhere. I have the email verification that I was approved for one of your properties, however, did not feel comfortable leaving a deposit without seeing the interior. Per your response on Google. I called your office to ask for a refund of my $90.00 app fee since my application was "not processed". Melanie stated that my application was processed and that no refunds are given as your company used a 3rd party. With constant miscommunication between your office staff, Im glad I leased with a different company. Instead of asking for a refund (good business practice) I'd rather be informational to others. Fantastic experience: I was able to make a very well informed and comfortable decision buying my first home with the help of Jared Cerda. Buying a home is not easy for many reasons but he gave me good information on things I did not know about and was able to guide me in the right direction. Any time I wanted to look at openings he was available to go with me and if I was unable to go due to work he went for me and even FaceTimed me. Customer service is one of the most important things to me when purchasing and Jared’s customer service towards me was beyond what I expected. Fantastic experience: I was truly lucky to rent a property through Heather Heiligenthan Realty Executives. I moved from Los Angeles to Yuma in November 2020. The process to get approved was easy and fast thanks to Jared. He helped me get everything done. He went above and behond to accomodate me based on my situation and schedule. Even after the approval, Jared has continue to assist me anytime i have questions, even in case of emergencies. The payment process is really easy with their ability to take online payments and option for automatic deductions. Im beyond impressed and thankful with the attention provided. Truly exelent service. I would definitively recommend anyone to use their services.

Negative experience: Never had any issues while renting from them. That is probably because there was hardly ever anything we needed to get ahold of them for. However, when it came to us moving out I am extremely disappointed on how everything was handled. We were told several times that we would receive move out paperwork to answer any questions we had on the move out process and what we needed to do, it was never sent to us no matter how many times they said they would do it. So that left us with having to call to get ahold of anyone with any questions we had regarding move out... we were told to leave a message almost every time we called, which was NEVER returned. Bottom line they are absolutely impossible to get ahold of and will never return your calls. The next issue was getting our security deposit back. It states in our rental agreement that it will be returned to us in 14 business days. Well after waiting almost a month from move out for it to come in the mail, multiple calls and messages not returned...we finally decided to just go down to their office. Low and behold it was just sitting in their office. This was extremely unprofessional of them in my opinion.

Negative experience: This is a horrible property management company. They never return calls and expect their tenants to pay for stuff that is their responsibility. I would never use them and don’t recommend renting from them unless you want problems.

There was nothing available for us immediately but Jared stuck with it stayed in communication with me about properties coming available & found me exactly what we needed! Fantastic experience: Heather is like a loud barking Chihuaha in heels.... which is a GOOD thing because that's what you need when being represented in a real estate transaction. She represented me in the purchase of, and manages one of my rental properties. This was a transaction I made from out of town. She was persistent in holding the builder accountable, found a tenant rapidly, and best of all she is VERY EASY to reach and communicates well. You can stop looking for another realtor/property manager now. Gone ahead and call her.

She picked out a color scheme for new paint and carpet and ran with it. I was really busy getting my new home set up. I trusted Heather to get the job done. She had multiple offers in the first 24 hours of listing and the house closed in less than 2 months from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: Heather managed my rental property for quite some time. I observed her first hand when she dealt with a unreasonable tenant immediately preventing a situation from becoming a problem. I was deeply impressed with how she masterfully deescalated the situation. Moreover, when it came time to sell the home I did't need to lift a finger. Educating me along the way and ensuring all parties did their jobs and stayed on schedule I was able to sell the home and cash a check within a month. The former British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher earned the nickname, the Iron Lady. I am here to tell you that if you want peace of mind and have someone to look after your best interest then you need to hire an "Iron Lady" like Heather.

Negative experience: I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! If I could give 0 stars I would. Working with Heather's team was by far the worst experience of my life. My roomates and I were looking for a four bedroom home to rent and came across a property that best fit our interest. Upon reaching out to her and obtaining details and costs for the rental, my roommates and I decided to complete the application ($40 each) in addition to two co-signers (another $80). Few days and weeks go by without hearing back from the team. I would call every other day and could not get a hold of Heather. Two weeks later Heather answers just to state that one of our roommates was missing a signature. A signature which took them weeks to notify us about. The roommate fixed it and sent it back as soon as possible. Once again, we did not hear back from Heather. I would call almost everyday and left voicemails. Heather finally calls back and states she will follow up with me the following day to discuss our application status. I did not receive the call until about 3 days later just to find out that the house was already being rented. The team's lack of communication and lack of professionalism encouraged me to write this review. I am extremely disappointed. I would not recommend and will not be using their services again.

Fantastic experience: Heather was referred to me by a co-worker In 2016 and to this day we gave a great working relationship . I wish all real estate agents worked with her level of energy, passion, knowledge, skill, and professionalism. When I was looking for a home in 2016 Heather would pick me up ( offering to bring a Starbucks drink to my liking) to and take me to listings that matched my criteria. We must of looked at about 20 homes in the yuma area then she found the home that had everything I wanted. But then due to my greedy landlords wanting so much rent for breaking the lease she acted quickly and saved me from a deal I wasn’t financially ready for. Then waiting a few months later we looked at more properties and right when I was giving up hope she found the perfect home for me. The deal went smoothly and I was very happy with her services. Then life happened and I needed to leave my new home that is when heather was able to help me through her property management business. And so far it has been a huge success! She kept me away from sketchy tenants and to date the place has always had a tenant. Repairs are made on time and monthly statement are clean accurate and consistent. She is always readily available and answers text messages frequently. Overall I am extremely happy with Heather! One thing I admired about her service when I was looking to purchase a home was her authenticity during viewings. I never felt like she was trying to “sell” me a home (which I later found out when I worked with another real estate agent in another state) she Kept it real and let me decide with just the facts. I referred heather to my other co worked and she was extremely happy with her service as well. Heather by far is the Diamond Standard when it comes to reality not only in Yuma but I feel she could excel in any market she was working in.

Fantastic experience: Moving is always tough. Stressing about finding the right place, keeping contact with the property managers, and hoping everything would go smoothly. Realty executives did just that. Branden, went above and beyond to help make this move fast and efficient. I’m happy with my new place, I’m happy with the app they have that lets us communicate with payments as if we have any issues at the property. Overall 10/10 with service and customer service.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional. I have reached out to this Realtor and her staff multiple times in the last week in regards to becoming one of their tenants. I have left voicemails , replied to emails answering "qualified questions", also spoke to a gal and left those "qualified Question" answer's and I even had one showing. Heather's assistant, Brandon, was there to meet me with another potential renter to view the same home at the same exact time, not 10 mins later but literally walking in the same time. I asked for an application after viewing the home, he said he didn't have any on hand. Um, are you not prepared for your potential renters?? So he said he would email me the application, and to just text him my email address. So I did, at that moment. Four days later, still no application! Even after I have called their answering service requesting one. I understand a sale is more important then a rental tenant but if you want the business, maybe you guys might want to seem more interested in your potential renters. But Im sure if I was buying, things would be played out much more differently. Too bad, they would never find out.
