Fantastic experience: Melea was recommended to my wife and I by our realtor in Tx and she made our search/purchase of a home so easy and smooth. She was very accommodating, even when we moved our timeline up by months. I've already given her name to friends who are looking to purchase a home, and we will be working with her again if the need arises.

Negative experience: I am writing this review to provide a detailed account of our experience and to caution other buyers. We purchased a property represented by this agent where the listing explicitly stated that power was available. Throughout the process, we were repeatedly and verbally assured of this fact. The agent even used the presence of power at neighboring properties as 'proof.' Based on these assurances, we proceeded with the purchase. After closing, the agent refused to show us the power source's location and directed us to PSE. The power company then confirmed that no power is available and bringing it to the property would be incredibly expensive. The agent has since suggested that we 'low-balled' our offer for the property. We strongly disagree. Our offer was fair market value for a property with the advertised utilities. Given the reality that there is no power, we firmly believe we have overpaid for what we actually received. The price reflects a property with building potential, which this land currently lacks due to the unexpected costs. We are now unable to build as planned. The information provided to us was incorrect and, in our view, misleading. We urge other buyers to be extremely diligent. Do not rely on verbal assurances or even listing details. Verify every single claim independently with the utility providers before closing.

Fantastic experience: Marcie and her team were great to work with! They were patient with us while we got our house ready to list, and then when we were ready they jumped into action and coordinated the bulk of the contractor work that was needed after inspection. It was so helpful to not have to get bids, schedule work, and deal with all of that. They seem to have an arsenal of contractors on speed dial and I was also surprised at the low cost of those contractors. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Fantastic experience: in October 2023 I reached out to Melea Anderson with Martin Real Estate Group. I was in the process of selling my home in MN and hoping to find a home near my daughter in Gig Harbor. My house in Mn finally sold in July 2024. Melea stuck with me the whole time... sending me links to houses online and an occasional phone call. I met Melea for the 1st time in August 2024 when I came to WA to find my home. Melea scheduled showings and when my flight got cancelled she rescheduled everything. In four days we found my perfect house and I was on my way back to MN to start packing. Melea was willing to work with my daughter in Gig Harbor through the closing and has stayed in touch with me. Melea is very knowledgeable when it comes to buying / selling real estate. I have bought and sold 5 houses in my life and will say Melea has been the best agent I have experienced. If I were to be doing real estate dealings again I would use Melea and the Martin Real Estate Group.

My oldest son told me about a local real estate team that he had heard about, and I setup an appointment with them. My first meeting with the Martin Team put me completely at ease. I knew I had made the right decision in working with them. Being extremely knowledgeable in all areas of buying & selling, they had me viewing several homes just two days later. They also worked with my lender, to be sure the whole process went as smoothly as possible. While I was out viewing homes with one, the other one was working on different areas of the buying process. Fantastic experience: Our realtor was Tari Sarviel. We presented Tari with a difficult situation: we had a pretty tight, low budget for our first ever home, we needed the home to be accessible for both an elderly person and accessible to transportation options for members of the household who couldn't drive, and we had a time constraint! Despite these, Tari took us on with grace and wisdom and walked us through a competitive market, heartbreak, losses, and eventually a win in helping us purchase our home! Tari navigated relationships with lenders and the seller's agents beautifully and wasn't afraid to "mom" us when we asked to be "mom"'d. Tari filled that niche and told us how she'd advise even her own family, and treated us like family. After the sale, Tari checked in to ensure we were loving our new home, and wanted to make sure things were as expected. A few months after we closed on the home, my purse was stolen by a thief and I needed to get new ID. Tari offered to be a witness for me to help me get a new ID when I lacked other required documents. Her work didn't stop there, when I inherited another property in another state, Tari did the work to help refer me to an agent in that state near my new property. Tari's love and professionalism is essential before, during, and after the housing process.
