Fantastic experience: Jason at Caldwell Bank really took all the hassle out of homebuying. My wife and I were looking for not only our first home but a home to start a family. A few things we knew we wanted were 3 bedrooms, at least 1.5 baths, a large backyard, and within 30 minutes commute to downtown Columbus. Fantastic experience: I made a purchase a few years ago using a different realtor and company and they left kind of a bad taste in my mouth for real estate and realtors. I was not really looking forward to the experience this time around until I started working with Jason. I explained my situation, my perceived budget and timeline. Jason allowed me to work at my pace and gave lots of great recommendations on finance companies to work with and get preapprovals from. This time around things were clearly explained, a time line was given with important dates to remember, and I was informed of every step of the process.  While reviewing some of our choices Jason provided information about entertainment, restaurants, walking trails, and other things the area had available and went up to bat for us at negotiations and got us all the important things we asked for. Just before closing Jason reached out and provided all the utility contacts we need to switch the utilities into our names (My other realtor definitely didn't do that). Then after our walk through when we discovered the sellers had left various items around the house including a trampoline in the back yard, Jason was able to arrange for the trampoline to be taken apart and removed. I really appreciated Jason's help and expertise.

Negative experience: Jason was my good friend’s realtor and his experience was awful and very unethical. I wish there was a zero because 1 star is far too much. Jason disregarded every request of my friend for his own gain. There’s not enough space to write how disingenuous. Jason is. My friend is out of a home with no place to go because Jason set the move out date despite being told that my friend was moving out of state and needed more time and to please include that in the contract, but Jason didn’t and said the Buyers were expediting their possession….NOT TRUE. He continues to push my friend out although the possession date isn’t even here. PLEASE make sure your realtor discusses and receives consent before just offering up handouts at your expense. Shame on him!

Negative experience: I had a friend who used Jason Brewer as his realtor. WORST experience EVER. He cared nothing about his client. He was only interested in getting the deal done as soon as possible so he could get his commission. He lied about so many things . He gave concessions that the buyers didn't even ask for. He included all appliances which he was not supposed to do and said that the seller,my friend would pay 5000 dollars in closing costs. He also said that the buyers wanted a quick closing and wanted him out of the house ASAP. The buyers realtor Courtney came by and showed text messages that confirmed none of that was true. He was the one rushing things! He is a TERRIBLE realtor , avoid him at all costs! I could go on and on . The buyers wanted an inspection but we're not expecting repairs he told the seller that all repairs had to be completed. Since he rushed the closing, the seller and lied about the buyers wanting him out so quickly he currently has no place to live. He should have his realtor license taken away!!

Fantastic experience: Ours was a unique situation: selling an inheirited property in Columbus, Ohio while living in Tampa, Florida, with 1 week a month visits for 8 months. The thought of hiring a lawyer, realtor and contractor in a week seemed impossible. Combined with moving the entire contents of a 3 bedroom house 2hrs away, we felt overwhelmed. Enter Jason Brewer. Recommended by a long time friend, Jason may have been our only candidate for realtor but from the start and for future deals will be our only choice. (Over Memorial Day wknd, I realized at the airport going to Tampa that I left my phone at the property. This was the 1st time Jason went above and beyond his realtor duties and shipped it back to me.) Throughout our absence in Ohio, Jason, who not only helped us find our contractor, also acted as project manager with constant checks on the progress of the renovations, any setbacks or triumphs, all with photo updates, usually before the contractor. Without his diligence, important mistakes would have gone overlooked, which we are very grateful for. I know he did way more than I can account for and deserves more adjectives like trustworthy, thorough, indispensible. But you get the picture. Then came time to put it on the market. With every what if still lingering, we read reviews and feedback from Tampa. Our nerves were shot. But after 3 days & $41k over asking, the last 8 months were suddenly worth it. All thanks to Jason Brewer, realtor extraordinaire.

You will be real mad and I will tell you why… Jason Brewer had sold my friends’ home and helped them find and purchase their beyond-their-dreams home. They raved about the time and effort he invested in their success. I can now say that their reviews were on point because I would say that Jason was like a terrier with a tube sock working to make MY transactions happen! When I saw the marketing flyer for the sale of my home, I knew that retaining Jason had been the right move. The day we listed my home for sale, we had SIX showings scheduled in the first TWO hours! Jason successfully navigated multiple offers and escalation clauses to get me the best purchase option. As if that wasn’t enough, within two days of going into contract on the sale of my home, Jason managed to find me the perfect home!
