Fantastic experience: I needed to sell my parents' home when they moved into assisted living. Their home was filled with the life they lived for the past 53 years. There were a thousand decisions to make, but Odalis was there to help me with every single one! She had contacts for painters, clean out crews, estate sales. You name it. They were all excellent. The one time I used my own contact for a roofer (an arrangement made before I met Odalis), it nearly cost $29K in unscrupulous overcharges,but Odalis came to the rescue. She reached out to a building inspector and one of her contractors and - voila - the matter was resolved. Odalis is phenomenal. She is multi-tasker extraordinaire: organized, calm, and always smiling. And of course she got us multiple offers and the house sold for over asking price. I am so grateful to Odalis for everything and highly recommend her!

Fantastic experience: We just sold our house in Waldwick and having Odalis as our real estate agent made this big step in our lives go so smoothly. Odalis is very knowledgeable, honest, responsive and incredibly strategic. What really stood out was her pricing of the house and marketing strategies. We ended up selling our house for significantly more than we thought, which of course exceeded our expectations. She guided us through every step from getting the house ready for a showing to navigating multiple offers. She made the process of selling our home less stressful for us and everything went smoothly. I would also like to address the negative review incorrectly made towards Odalis. Gu Feng Zhu was not her client but, was one of the people who wanted to buy our house. My husband and I, only, made the decision to go with another offer after verbally agreeing to accept their offer. However, we were not comfortable with his offer, so my husband and I made the decision to back out of that offer and follow our instincts. We were more comfortable and happy with another offer and went with it. So there is no blame to be put on Odalis because in the end we are the owners and we make the decision as to who we want to sell our house to. I know that Mr. Zhu’s feelings were hurt with the outcome, but the blame and negative review should not have been directed towards Odalis, and would appreciate it being removed.

Negative experience: We had a very disappointing experience with this listing agent. After our offer was verbally accepted and we were led to believe the deal was moving forward, the agent continued to entertain other offers and ultimately went with a different buyer. The biggest issue was the lack of clear and honest communication. We submitted all requested documents promptly, increased our offer, and acted in good faith based on the agent’s direction—only to find out the situation was not as straightforward as presented. While we understand sellers want the best deal, the process should be handled with transparency and professionalism. Setting expectations one way and then reversing course without clear communication creates unnecessary stress and confusion for buyers. **Edit** I stand by my review as an accurate reflection of my experience, including the communication and handling of the offer, which I believe falls short of the professional standards expected at the brokerage level.

Fantastic experience: I would like to first start by saying I do not write reviews to anything but I really had to do this for someone who changed my life with my selling experience. I am so grateful Odalis had totally helped me from start to finish with selling my home. After seeing a few of her listings, I called her to see if this is something she would be interested in listing. I explained that my husband and I were going through a divorce and wanted to sell our house, without any hesitation she said absolutely. Odalis came over the following day with print outs of listings on the market so that we could compare prices and see would be the perfect list price would be. After our conversation, she set up pictures for the following weekend and gave me a timeline of the next steps. Odalis constantly was checking in: “How are you? How are you guys doing? If you have any questions, please let me know.” As well as updates on what’s to come. There was always an open door with communication and we knew we were secure. This was a stressful and upsetting time for us, but after putting this in the hands of Odalis selling our house this was the least of our worries. Our house was immediately up online within a few days. We had a large list of private showings scheduled for the week as well as an open house the upcoming weekend.
