Fantastic experience: Where do I even begin? My family had been trying to move from California for almost seven years. We never thought homeownership was possible for us, at least not anytime soon. Our original plan was simply to move to North or South Carolina and rent, and we were on a very strict timeline because we wanted our son to start school at the beginning of the school year instead of transferring in halfway through. Then we met Paul. From day one, he made what seemed impossible become reality. Even though we were in California and he was in South Carolina, the entire home-buying process was handled virtually. The communication was seamless. Despite the three-hour time difference, Paul was always available to answer questions, explain every step of the process, and make us feel like we were his top priority. We purchased our home using a VA loan, and our journey definitely had its challenges. Our credit wasn't perfect, and we had to jump through more than a few hoops with the lender during the approval process. Instead of letting those obstacles stop us, Paul worked right alongside us every step of the way. He even went above and beyond by connecting me with a job opportunity in South Carolina, which ended up being exactly what was needed to secure our final loan approval. As if that wasn't enough, Paul negotiated an incredible deal that gave us a mortgage payment lower than what we would have been paying to rent. We trusted Paul enough to purchase our home completely sight unseen. That's not something we ever imagined ourselves doing, but Paul earned our confidence throughout the process. The home inspector he recommended was incredibly thorough, documenting everything in detail, and the few issues that came up were addressed before closing. We were able to purchase a beautiful home in Cane Bay in Summerville, South Carolina, close on time, move across the country, and get our son enrolled in school a full week before classes started. What once felt like a dream became our reality because of him. I truly cannot say enough about Paul and his team. Their professionalism, communication, dedication, and willingness to go above and beyond are second to none. If you're looking for a realtor who genuinely cares about his clients and will fight to make your goals happen, look no further. We will be forever grateful for everything Paul did for our family.

Fantastic experience: Chris Ward did an amazing job as our realtor. Before we moved from MD to SC, my husband reached out to him and he set up an entire day of house viewings when we came down to visit. He was a trooper as we went from house to house. We unfortunately didn’t land on one with that visit (found 2 potentials but they didn’t work out) but that didn’t deter Chris, he kept in touch with us when we returned to MD and continued on the house search for us. We eventually moved our family down and continued with the house hunting. He was always available and was willing to go the extra mile for us (even sought the opinion of an arborist for us about a tree in front of a house). He has incredible patience and always a positive outlook as we continued our search. Once we landed on the one, he negotiated the price to our favor along with other caveats. If you’re in search for a realtor, 100% recommend Chris. He takes a stressful process and will get you through it with such ease.

Fantastic experience: Sometimes you meet the right people at just the right time. We decided to relocate down to the Summerville area August of 2024 from the south Jersey area. we lived in the SJ area almost forever but it was time to look for a new home. We had the pleasure of meeting with Austin from the Paul Smith Office, and after a good conversation decided to use them to help with our search. We felt very comfortable with Austin and she knew the area extremely well. Based on our needs gave us places to check out and some to stay away from. Austin would send weekly updates on current listings and we spent multiple weekends going to open house's and looking at New construction as well. We finally decided on the Canes bay area, we were lucky enough to find a great lot still available we jumped on it and went with the new construction. After we finally decided on the home, Austin really became an even bigger help. She helped us navigate and understand the differences with home building in (SC VS. NJ) and was hands on with the entire process with us. Austin attended every walk thru, and helped us with pointing out a few things the builder need to address, the more eyes the better. Austin met me at the construction site several time to ensure the builder was on task and took the lead with contacting them when needed. with her local contacts she helped set us up an home inspection with a private company, that did an awesome job and found a few things that the builder needed to address. During the building process, We were fortunate enough to meet most of the Paul Smith team and I can honestly say they were all extremely friendly and helpful along the way. We would highly recommend Austin and the entire Paul Smith Real estate team they were all a huge help with our relocation. And yes, we love the area, so much to do.

Fantastic experience: Working with The Paul Smith Team to sell my home in Goose Creek while I lived in NYC was an exceptional experience! I was not able to be there physically for any of the selling process. The team has incredible communication and diligence which helped everything proceed quickly and smoothly! I could not have done it without them. There was an Issue with a refrigerator that could have caused a lot of issues if persisted and the team took care of it flawlessly.
