Fantastic experience: My husband and I had the responsibility of selling my brother's home in Harrisburg. We live over two hours away so we were expecting it to be a very stressful experience. Then we met Cindy who was a tremendous help in relieving our anxiety and stress over our situation. Buying a piece of property can be extremely stressful but they are there to help keep the stress minimal. Cindy's office is what I call a one-stop because, she can do majority of everything at one location. They even have contacts for contractors that can help take care of projects that you want to do. Fantastic experience: Cindy was fantastic. My mother died in Sept and we needed to sell her house. My mother, in her will, requested that we contact Cindy to sell the house. I live about 2 hours from where my mother lived. Cindy worked with me so that the process was smooth. Helped us find places to donate items where they would be of use to others (PAWS, an animal charity was one--my mother loved animals and so it was fitting to donate there). We needed to do some repairs before closing, she found a person who did the repairs well, documented everything that was being done which enabled me to OK each step of the process knowing what was done without needing to travel 2 hours each way. I really appreciated how easy she made this difficult process and that she kept in touch. She went out of her way to make this difficult time less painful. I would recommend her to anyone who needs help. The word I would use to describe her is that she is person of integrity who is honest with you.

Fantastic experience: My girlfriend just bought a house and it hasnt been the best experience. She has been looking for a house for about a year. She went through 3 realtors and looked at what felt like 50 houses or more. I decided to contact Christie Gardner Bellamy for help and the second house my girlfriend looked at with her she closed on. She came to the hospital the same day my girlfriend had our baby to make sure we would have a house to take Ellis home in and made sure everything was done for us. Christie knows the business and she honestly cares about her clients. She is super driven and makes things happen. This house wasnt even on the market yet and she found it for us. Thats what she does! If you are looking for a realtor i hands down suggest you talking to her. Shes amazing!

Negative experience: Our Experience with Cynthia Armour helm the broker for this better homes and gardens was nothing short of a disaster. I would not recommend anybody to do any business with them The office is poorly organized, there is little communication and it got so bad we felt a need to pay an attorney to cover us in our dealings with them. We agreed on a price for our home with our attorney present, as each day passed the money got less and less, on closing day, it got even more outrageous. we sat in a room at their office for 2 hours with zero communication from her even though she was a few feet down the hall..because thousands of dollars was missing from our original contract, it was well over an hour before Cynthia even came in to see what was wrong. Zero professionalism. We ended up walking out because we no longer trusted anything they said...It gets better..Cynthia also switched all our utilities into her name and did not even own our home for a second then canceled it and due to that our basement in the home we were trying to sell flooded because the electric company turned off our service. When confronted about her unethical behaviour and the fact that our basement flooded because she put service in her name before she owned the home she did not apologize or offer to help clean it up.instead she called the police. For your own well being do not hire them to sell a doghouse and spread the word. Doors were also left unlocked, lights left on, windows left open. They have zero regard for your property.

Negative experience: They always threatened to eviction if you are only a couple days late on rent, or another bill. They change late fees for everything! For the price that we pay for rent, we also have to pay for everything else, even when an ongoing drain issue happened, we were expecting to pay for the plumber, $300 for a ten minute job!

Positive experience: I'm not really able to rate this realty company on the way they do business. I am, however, able to rate them on the way they act as an organization. My only contact with Exit was a single, very negative experience with one agent who is no longer with them. Although his actions were not appropriate, they clearly did not represent Exit as an organization. Their management took the time to investigate the matter thoroughly, in order to be fair to everyone involved. They did the right thing in the situation, for which I respect them. Although I haven't had occasion to use their services since then, I find Exit's professionalism to be above reproach.

Negative experience: I was in the process of buying a house through Exit Realty. After the home inspection uncovered some disturbing information about the property, which wasn't included in the seller's disclosure, I decided to withdraw my offer. According to my contract, I was entitled to my deposit back. However, the rules have somehow changed. The last email I received from my Exit Realty agent informed me that I either had to buy the house or lose my deposit. You count on your agent to act in your best interests, and to be your representative in your pursuit for that perfect home. Between the home inspection and the deposit, I'm out $1,350. As a working, single mom, that's quite a financial blow to absorb. I reached out to the broker, after seeing such positive customer testimonials on their website. However, she doesn't seem to be as caring and attentive in my case. I didn't even receive a response to my email. That's been my experience with Exit Realty. There are many real estate companies out there to chose from. Choose wisely!
