They're kind and responsive, and they seem to genuinely want to do right by the tenants as much as they can. Most concerns I've raised to them have been addressed swiftly (often same-day), and the ones that haven't been were largely reasonable delays or not on them. Lucy, Stephanie, and Jasmin all do their best and are always patient and kind.

Negative experience: Lease is almost up and I won’t be resigning. The amenities in not only our unit but our neighbors units are constantly breaking like the AC, washer/drier, and the back parking lot gate. We’ve had to spend hundreds of dollars of Lyfts/Ubers and miss out on other opportunities/commitments because the gate would get stuck closed with our cars inside. We sent tons of requests for maintenance but they don’t respond unless we call over and over and over again, and have even marked our requests completed when they haven’t been addressed by the management. The entire time we lived here was frustrating and inconvenient. Excited to be moving out.

Negative experience: This review is for Willow Gardens homeowners association which is managed by Carnahan Dexter. Luci, a "manager", doesn't care about maintenance requests and only sits there for her paycheck. She got very disrespectful and raised her voice on the phone with me when I said that my roof was damaged, leaked during rain which damaged laminate floor in the house. She ignored my emails and calls until I said I will complain to her supervisor. The board members do not let the owners freely speak at the HOA meeting, they do not want to hear the owners expressing their opinions and speaking about maintenance requests at the meeting. At the last meeting that I attended, about 7 owners showed up and every one tried speaking about their maintenance requests they submitted but never heard a response from the members. The board members just said to contact Luci. They told everyone they will only look into major maintenance requests as the budget is scarce. In my case, they said I made the problem up and everything is fine. Months after, they didn't get back to me regarding this. Sadly the owners cannot trust the board members and are expected to be quiet and live as is.

Fantastic experience: Mr. Dexter and his team manage all my income properties, even though the properties are located in various cities. Burbank ( near the studious), in the heart of Toluca Lake (Three Commercial Building Complexes – including a restaurant – an apartment building and a single family residence), North Hollywood (near redevelopement areas), and Canoga Park (retail stores on Sherman Way). I’m not sure how he does it, but he manages them all extremely well.

Moving in was very easy, not a ton of paperwork like some other management companies in the area. Not a huge security deposit was required, and the monthly rent is more than fair for how nice the place is.
