Fantastic experience: I first met Damian at an open house when I had just started looking. I actually tried to buy that house, but it didn’t work out due to there being a better offer which I could not beat. Still, I was impressed by him (and by the lender he works with, Mac, who I also met that day), so I decided to keep working with him. From there, Damian stuck with me through the long haul - and I mean long. He took me to see well over a hundred houses before I finally found one I wanted. Along the way, there were plenty of bumps: the next house I found and made an offer on didn’t go through because of custody issues on my side. Later I fell in love with a house that was contingent on the sale of my own. When the sale of my house fell apart at the last minute because of the buyer, Damian didn’t just disappear. He helped me navigate small claims court and win the deposit of the original dishonest buyer. Then he helped me find a new buyer. All in all, it took 16 months from the day I met him to finally close on my dream home. Through all of that, Damian was patient, steady, and never pushy. In fact, he actually discouraged me from jumping on a few houses he knew weren’t right for me. That’s how I knew he wasn’t just in it for a commission - he really wanted me to end up in the right home. He kept communication open and honest the entire time, and by the end of this journey, I don’t just see him as my agent - I considered him a friend. I’m even planning to invite him to my housewarming next month.
