Fantastic experience: Mark helped me with the selling of my parents home. His knowledge of the area (Flat Rock) and real estate in general was a blessing. His assistance with the tasks necessary before even listing was invaluable. Not to mention it sold in less than a week for over asking, this one might have been at least in part due to the market at the time but still kudos to Mark.

Negative experience: BEWARE!! The absolute most unprofessional people I have ever worked with. Our agent, Mary Rosecrans, did not do an estimated net sheet so we were going in blind and it caused issues with our end numbers, she said she don't do numbers. She lied to us about being in a bidding war causing us to pay 11k more than asking for no reason. She bribed the selling agent to take our bid. She conned us into skipping a personal inspection to win a nonexisting bidding war only to find the house was in dier disrepair under all the coverup beauty. And she didn't turn in the payoff request in time. Then their inhouse title company, TurnKey, made 3 major accounting mistakes ($50k) that I had to point out and then said that it was no big deal. BEWARE before using this company.

Suzie addressed all of my concerns, as well as his, any questions we had she immediately contacted the seller immediately while I was do my first walk through the home.. Negative experience: Realtor Suzie Chesney is awful and has a crazy temper. She will start yelling at you and having a temper tantrum for no reason. So unprofessional! How she is still a realtor is beyond me. Read the encounter she had with someone at Re/Max on the Boulevard and apparently I'm not the only one she's lost it on, and probably not the last.

Fantastic experience: We had an emotional sale and Mark was kind, courteous, patient, and very helpful through the complete process. He gave us some good meaningful advice on improvements that we could tackle on our own and recommendations that we might want to consider having the professionals perform. Everything he recommended was spot on. Our home had two great offers within two days and was sold to a young family that we are sure will enjoy the home as much as we did. We had some hard work to do, but it was well worth it. We got more for the house then we ever imagined and the buyer has a home that has all those little things taken care of. Thanks Mark. Negative experience: Doesn't deserve a star. Only reason I went thru them was because my family had previously used them. They are unprofessional, they ignore texts and email, they give false information, they don't listen to what I want. They leave lights and fans on and doors unlocked. I could go on but just wanted to say it was the worst decision I made going with them. Lost my father and didn't need all this extra stress and grief. I really feel I have been taken advantaged of because of being a woman. Just want to be let out of my agreement but they won't agree!! Just beware! So, what does this sound like to you? I contacted Alex to lower the price on the listing and he never contacted me back. The next week I asked Jan on Monday to do it never heard back. Texted her again on Tuesday and she said it would be done. Everyone told me it was too high. Even Jan said the price was too high. I found out that Alex didn't want to lower it until after a showing on Thursday. I know what this sounds like to me.

Negative experience: WARNING!!!!!!!! This is gonna be a long post... The house we was waiting to close on fall thought. We are not getting that house, We did everything we was ask to do. if it wasn't one thing it was another... I was told that we would be closing on the house by this Friday. I was told that last week by my realtor Mary Roscrans who never seem to know what was going on.. I looked for all the house and would share with her so she could book a showing.. I did all the work all she did was let us in and tell the seller realtor what we wanted.... This modular has a tag serial number issue and was a issue in the beginning that made My husband and I wanted to back out. I even ask Mary if we could continue to look at other house but she didn't have time for us ( my impression ) I didn't know the tags would be a problem so late into the process because i was told that was taken care of no problems..Then i was told on Friday By My leader, not my realtor i still haven't heard from her besides in text, that we can't get house because of tags and i cried so hard.. i was losing my dream home so i thought,,,,, Then i wiped those tears and was on a mission to finding our forever home first thing i did was fire Mary. Mary seem like she didn't have time to give us and we was on a time limit for our loan we have to a couple moths to find a home and we did.. On our own..... We went today to pick up “Earnest Money Deposits.” and she took 500.00 out of it.. you didn't do anything besides drive a few miles and it cost us 500.00 knowing we need everything for our down payment.. You are stealing from my family.... this can't be allowed to happen. i will be doing my research on this matter.....

Fantastic experience: WOW!!! As they say... First impressions do make a huge difference! Mark has most definitely had done that when he made a return call to me and had left a very clear and concise message of how he was able to help me. I returned the call the next day and sure enough, the person that left the phone message to me the other day was exactly the same individual with the same pleasant personality and in a very, very professional manner. A vast difference from a horrid experience from another Realtor I had spoke to briefly a few hours before Mark. I felt as if i was being attacked and pressured into doing business on something I did not want to do and of course led to my being hung up on. Yes, you know who you are!!! Who would've thought, right? Had I stopped there.. I wouldn't have run into this gem of a Realtor, Mark!! So.. Mark... KUDOS!!! To you and great service to the community!! Tsk.. tsk.. to the other... Besides, just by that other Realtor's first impression... I wouldn't have wanted to do business with him anyway. Most definitely will send referrals Mark's way!! Fantastic experience: I was a first time home buyer with no knowledge of where to even start. I had tried a different real estate company and my search for a home was not that agents priority. I then went to Google and did a search based on reviews...it was there that I found Mark Higgins and he took my urgency to find a home seriously. I was coming up from Virginia to look at homes and he would have a line up of houses for me to see each day while I was in town....and talk about patient! I was picky because I knew I didn't want to move again, and in the end, I found a home that checked ALL the boxes and I couldn't be happier! Mark is so knowledgeable and I never had to worry about the whole process even though I was back in Virginia while all the paperwork was being done...GREAT service!
