Fantastic experience: I came to Kimberly for help with understanding an atypical type of financing, after my realtor couldn't provide us with any answers. At this point, I was already feeling defeated and frustrated as our realtor told us it would be negligent of her to allow us to put an offer on a home we really loved because she believed the sellers of the home wouldn't be willing to negotiate. After talking with Kimberly, it felt like a huge weight was immediately lifted from our shoulders; she knew everything about our atypical financing and even had a game plan for getting us into the home we really loved. Two days later, we were under contract on that home and even closed at 34k under the original asking price. The same month, Kimberly helped us list our home for 41k more than what our first realtor wanted to list at. Less than 24 hours later we were under contract with an offer that was 6k over asking price. The math is simple, if we wouldn't have found Kimberly we would've missed out on a home we loved and left 47k on the selling table!!! If you're reading this because you're looking for a realtor or because you're doubting if your realtor has your best interest in mind, do yourself a favor and have a conversation with Kimberly; it will be life changing!!!

Negative experience: Seriously, STOP. Stop responding, stop contacting, stop lying, stop trying to play victim. The cops did not come to my home. There was and has been no form of harassment, no one is or has been contacting you or your business or anyone in between. …Since I can’t respond to Kimberly’s condescending reply I’ll just post it here at the top. This was our experience dealing with YOU. I see you want to insult our realtor, who is an amazing woman; professional and extremely knowledgeable. There was no lack of contractual knowledge (this wasn’t my first rodeo), there were no threatening emails to the builder, there was an email in which I told what we were asking for and said if the responsible party did not provide it then we would follow up with litigation, which was true as a matter of fact, I had an awesome and direct conversation with the builder (after you sent an email providing the contact info and permission to reach out to them). Which is how I found out they didn’t provide what we asked for. The repair was completed after the agreed date which you put down in the repair addendum, which last I checked is a breach…I don’t know though, maybe I need to talk to our realtor and brush up on contracts. However, I’m not here to get into anything in a google review though so I digress… This was our experience as a buyer and Kimberly represented a seller who owned a home we put an offer on and thankfully made it to close. To say the entire process was extremely difficult and stressful would be an understatement. From the moment we sent an offer, Kimberly called our realtor screaming I WONT ACCEPT THAT, I WANT THIS AND I WANT THAT. She was speaking on behalf of her client of course without a power of attorney. Which is illegal. That was just the beginning of what turned into an entire nightmare experience. She breached the contract multiple times, spoke on behalf of her client multiple times, lied to folks throughout the entire process multiple times. She screamed at and belittled our realtor regularly, she purposely ignored our requests during due diligence, shortening the time, she tried to bully us and our realtor. What I am saying in the review isn’t just out of emotion, we have proof as she did these things not only on phone calls but also in emails and text messages. It was so bad that we were ok with pulling out of the contract, losing our due diligence and earnest money. We even consulted an attorney to go the legal route. I have left out a lot of specific details and instances of what exactly happened because I am not here to ruin anyone and I hate that I even feel the need to leave this review, however, I feel people need to be aware of what they could possibly get themselves into and the position of being sued due to the negligence of the realtor that is representing you as a seller. ***just to give an idea of the type of business this is, I asked for our address to be taken off of the business social media outlets due to privacy concerns and I was promptly blocked.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend the Kimberly Magette Group. Professional, yet personal, patient and kind. We closed in 30 days and moved in the day after our final walk-thru.

Negative experience: Strongly advise against using Kim for your real estate needs. Please don't make the same mistake we made!! Long story short, she was just not the right fit for us and when we kindly asked to be released from the agreement, she refused. We asked again, she refused. We are now FORCED to stay in this agreement longer when we have no intentions of purchasing with her. We were kind and amicable. There was no clause in our agreement that stated anything about a termination and we were told if things aren't working out, it's fairly easy to terminate an agreement. If you sign with her, you are locked in. So just read what you are signing. She made our agreement 6 MONTHS. I haven't heard of other realtors making it that long. We should have been more careful and diligent signing documents and that is on us. A few other things...before we signed , she told us she has sold houses in the neighborhood we were looking but come to find out...she hasn't sold any homes in that area. Early on she said she would send me a list of homes she has sold there and I still have yet to see that list. Also when we signed, she made it seem like our budget was reasonable given what we were looking for. Then after a showing, she told us it is unlikely that we could find what were looking for under our budget. Confusing! Then we started to lose confidence and just feel pressure. This is why we wanted a realtor who had experience selling in the neighborhood we wanted. ZERO pre-market listings were sent to us and knowing the neighborhood, you kind of need someone who knows the ins and outs and knows of a few listings that may be coming. My husband and I were the ones who were finding all of the houses ourselves and doing the research. Secondly, she started bringing an intern to our showings without asking us ahead of time. She was very nice, but it wasn't really a value add for us. It would've been nice to have been asked ahead of time. We have filed a formal complaint and are shocked that we are still in this agreement. We tried working with the BIC and he gave us the option to work with another realtor but at this point we are out on this firm. We can't wait until we are out of this agreement in February and are disappointed we are being forced to stay in this until end of February.

Fantastic experience: Kimberly is who you want for your realtor. We moved from out of state and knew no one and she was a huge blessing as we searched. She helped us find and get a GREAT deal on a home and due to job relocation, helped us sell that home a year later. Her group is super involved in the community and are just a great resource to have locally!

We were so impressed with Kimberly from the first time we met with her to get advice on what our home needed improved or changed if we decided to sell it.
