Fantastic experience: UPDATE 2025: Just completed my second home purchase with Dave. My husband and I really feel he has our best interest in mind. Fantastic experience: Not sure how unique our situation is but we were relocated and needed a relocation realtor. The company allowed us to interview 2 realtors. Fantastic experience: Dave was an excellent realtor. I had always subscribed to the thought that Realtor's get paid way too much to do way too little. This was not the case with Dave. He always answered our questions and concerns with, promptness, respect, and patience. My wife and I are cut out of different cloth, she likes all communication via texts, I save and file everything and like communications via email. Dave was able to satisfy us both without ever excluding one of us from the process. He had great contacts (inspectors, finance, property managers, title companies, repair companies) that were able to make the process much simpler. He met the inspectors at the home on multiple occasions, always answered our texts (even if it was simply an automated reply because he was spending important time with his family). Dave was also in it for the long haul, we actually contacted him years before our purchase and he showed us a few properties we were interested in....they were not right for us at that time. Dave exerted no pressure to buy something that wasn't best for our situation. When the situation was right, he went to bat for us and got us a much better deal than we anticipated on a property that fit all of our needs, with sound advice and solid stats to back up his reasoning. I could not recommend someone more highly. He has even been in contact multiple time AFTER the sell (and after he got paid) to check up on us and make sure everything is going well. Dave just cares about people and the real estate takes care if itself (but don't worry, he knows the real estate business inside, and out).

Fantastic experience: We just wrapped up selling our home and Dave Maltby with Summit Sotheby’s was our realtor. He’d been recommended by a couple of family members that had used him and after our initial meeting, we felt like he was the right man for the job. When I say we could not have gotten through the process with anyone else, I mean it! Not only did he get us a MUCH better sales price than other realtors had told us to expect, but he was so on the ball with every bump that popped up along the way. Fantastic experience: Four years ago Dave helped us buy our first home. He was recommended to us by our mortgage officer and man was that a great recommendation. He worked with us to get us into a great home and since then has helped us and some family members with any kind of real estate related randomness that pops up just because he's a good guy. Even though his job was just to help us sell our house, he went out of his way to help us in the process of designing and building our new home with his vast network of connections, recommendations on designers, timeframes, gotchas to watch out for, and anything else we could have dreamed up. Fantastic experience: Dave Maltby was referred to me by my daughter in law in 2011 when my husband and I were looking for a home near his new job in South Jordan. Dave took us to look at several properties but we ended up buying new construction without using his services. Undaunted, Dave kept in touch. Every year we would receive greetings on our birthdays and major holidays. Even out of the blue we would receive phone calls from Dave just checking on us, just being a concerned friend. My husband referred a work colleague to him who was able to buy a home with Dave’s help. After a few years we were looking for an investment property and Dave helped us locate and purchase one on a 1031 exchange. A few more years passed and we needed to sell the investment property and use a 1031 exchange to purchase another property in another state.
