Fantastic experience: We couldn’t be happier with our experience with this property management company. They truly made owning a rental property from a distance so much easier and took so much of the stress off our shoulders. Courtney, the administrator, was always responsive, organized, and helpful whenever we had a question or needed something. Josh was incredibly attentive to both the house and the tenants. Whenever something came up, he was on top of it and made sure we understood exactly what needed to be done. What we appreciated most was their transparency. When something broke or needed to be replaced, they clearly explained the options, the costs involved, and the differences in materials and quality. When we needed to replace appliances, they even provided helpful recommendations so we could make informed decisions rather than simply being presented with a bill. The lease was also very clear and well thought out for the tenants. Professional cleaning was included as part of the lease, and any damages were properly documented and accounted for against the security deposit. Everything was handled professionally and fairly. Most importantly, we felt like our property was genuinely being looked after. We never felt like we were just another account. They were proactive, communicative, and incredibly attentive to the details. They made our lives so much simpler, and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, professional property management company in Bluffton.

Negative experience: Last week I scheduled a tour with them for today and yesterday the listing was taken down. I texted realtor to confirm that my showing was still on and she did not reply until 30 minutes before the scheduled showing. Unprofessional.

Negative experience: If you're looking to rent, they don't get back to you when you make an inquiry. Even when you follow up. If that's how they treat potential business I wonder how they manage their rentals. Very unprofessional.

Negative experience: ForeShore management has 1) allowed an aggressive dog on the lease w/o my permission 2) dog bit my HVAC TECH and didn’t inform me 3) painted unmatched siding to blend into the house color to save renter money from damage they caused. 4) and is refusing to use security deposit to relieve financial stress due to their squatters now in my house.

Negative experience: Worst rental company ever.

Fantastic experience: Brian, Courtney, Josh and Ben formed a great team to service our rental home and to take care of our tenants. Brian helped find us excellent tenants, handled all the background information and collection of rent. Josh quickly addressed any repair requests, and Courtney offered timely communication. They helped assure us that our home was taken care of. When we moved down a year later, Josh and Ben even offered up a couple hours of his time to help us unload our moving truck due to a miscommunication delay from our movers. I would not hesitate to use Foreshore for your rental management. Excellent customer service.

Fantastic experience: The most affordable and best managed commercial building in South Carolina. Come see all the retail stores and services offered at this location.

Negative experience: I stayed there for several years… always a problem dealing with the management group. I would get an attitude if I brought up any issue. I am now waiting 3 months for the return of my deposit and an overpayment. I have called 8 times already trying to resolve this. The owner of the unit was very nice to me. But the management group has been hell to deal with!!!

Fantastic experience: Foreshore goes above and beyond for their tenants. We have been with Foreshore (Brian) for many years and cannot begin to properly quantify how happy we have been. We were checked-on before-and-after hurricane's; service requests were promptly handled; and questions/concerns were addressed promptly and by professionals. Please take the time to get to know the folks @ Foreshore and you will see what I mean.

Fantastic experience: I owned properties in Bluffton for 16 years and it took me a long time to find someone as professional and trustworthy as Brian and his team. The tenants they approved for me were always top notch, they gave me great advice on needed repairs and always got the work done at a fair price. As a long-distance owner, you are really dependent on your management company and I can't recommend Brian and his team enough.

Fantastic experience: ForeShore managed my house for four and a half years while I was overseas. Despite the huge time difference between where I was and Bluffton, I was constantly kept in the loop with everything going on with my house. Not only did they keep a tenant in the entire time, to include a short term tenant at the end, so their move out day was just a few weeks before I needed to move back in, but they also assisted me in getting modifications done before I moved back in. I've been back in my house for just over two weeks, and my family and I are thrilled with the condition and upkeep. Special shout out to Josh, for going above and beyond what is reasonably expected while taking care of my house. If you need someone to take care of your place, look no further. ForeShore is the people you want.

Fantastic experience: Samantha was very friendly and professional at all times. She quickly responded to all questions and concerns we had. We ultimately did not rent from the company because we finally found a home to buy in this crazy real-estate market. They quickly returned our deposit minus the cancelation fee because we did sign a lease.. If we ever need to rent in the future we would use foreshore rentals. Ask for Samantha to help you find your property she's the best.

Fantastic experience: Where can I start... Brian Tierney and Josh McCoy these two saved my thanksgiving. The week of thanksgiving my stove in my house messed up and it was no way it could have been fixed. I called up and let them know I sent pictures in less then 4 hours he called me back and said we will have you a new stove by tomorrow. They did just that. This company is by far the best in THE LOW COUNTRY!!!!! If I could leave 10 stars I would... I am so glad that I found this rental company... I highly recommend them. They really value their Tenants. Fantastic experience: We highly recommend ForeShore for their professionalism, attention to detail, and honesty. We had to rent a house when we first moved to Bluffton and despite meeting with several property managers, we immediately felt comfortable with them. The property was as described, regular landscaping and other scheduled maintenance happened on time, and our questions were answered in a swift manner. We took excellent care of our rental and got 100% of our security deposit back. They are a class act - and we highly recommend them.

Negative experience: I would not use this company again . We had air conditioning issues the entire time at our Station Loop rental and although they tried to fix the issue 7 times we were always made to feel as though we were bothering them as were sitting in a house in summer with kids and the house is sitting at 85, my sons bedroom was much hotter then that. After moving out they charged us a few hundred dollars for scuffs on the walls in a few spots mind you the paint used in this home is the cheapest flat paint you can buy and even when touched up the paint it didn't cover anything and you cant clean the walls either $300 charge then after using their preferred cleaning company turned around to charge me $125 for dirty fans, inside fridge, oven and cabinet dirty I don't see why I'd be charged for the cleaners they want me to use not doing the job they were paid for, I would think foreshore would have called THEIR preferred company to come back to touch up there cleaning. Jordan is the only amazing thing about this company she is great and easy to work with. That is so weird about the portable AC unit as that is actually what Bill and I did for our vacation renters when the HVAC broke back when we managed 12 cabins in north GA, I even brought this up to Josh In our conversation because no you NEVER brought us an air conditioner nor was that even offered all I got was Josh’s attitude with me when I called after a week of sitting in the high 80’s asking what was happening with the AC you sent another guy and he said it was something completely different from the gentleman before and I would hope when The HVAC isn’t working it’s brought to the homeowner every time, for the money paid for these rentals the air should work, the HVAC was addressed 6 or 7 times and still isn’t working that great in the front bedrooms rooms. As for extending our lease hello we’re paying you money to rent a house you should be happy we extended our lease renter beware they try and make you sign another year lease they won’t go month to month, so yes I was happy to get a 6 month lease and then a few extra months the owners wanted us out by June and we were, you should have been more happy as the house just sits empty a month now. Also my circumstances were different as I moved out of state a week before my lease was up and set everything up the best I could with not being there personally to “walk through” I had plenty of open dialogue about this but no one even gave me a chance to call the cleaners to come back out you just see $$$, charging $10 to tighten a screw, $20 for lights outside on the garage your company has no concept of normal wear and tear. Guess I should have sent you a bill for the water filter that was 100 + days over due and the light bulb broken off in the socket the day we moved in.

Our family is very thankful for the help this past years, I would like to thank immensely to JOSH MCCOY for doing beyond any tenant would wish had help when needed, we have rented from foreshore for 4+ years and continue to do so, we have met the team but Josh has been there for our needs when needed, our security deposits from previous houses we have had it back and NEVER have issues with Josh nor any member of the team, I'm beyond thankful and happy that we continue to rent from them. I just don't know any other company would treat us as fair as this company nor would have another guy like JOSH. THANK YOU SO MUCH JOSH!!! YOU'RE ONE OF A KIND. And if anyone would comment any different is most likely because you didn't respect your end of the contract.

Fantastic experience: Pam and Josh are so easy to deal with! We were looking for a rental while we are building a home in Bluffton. A house became available in the same community we were building which is rare so we quickly contacted ForeShore and Pam expedited the paperwork. We took the rental based on pictures and what Pam told us. We knew if we waited to take the trip down, we are in NJ, the rental would be gone. The entire process took only a few days and we were approved. During the process to move, Pam was responsive and helpful as to utilities, information on neighborhood answering whatever questions we had. Josh is responsible for the maintenance of the house. He was patiently waiting for us at the house even though we were delayed due to traffic. The house was exactly as described. He gave us a tour and provided information we needed. It was newly painted and a new carpet. Later on we found a few maintenance issues which were corrected within 24 hours. Very attentive and easy to work with. Highly recommend using them for your property search.

I know what i'm responsible for and they notify me of any inspections and renewal notices well in advance. No surprises with this company. Negative experience: First I would like to say I am a Veteran and a Gulf war veteran and I have never felt like I have been scammed this bad until now. If I could give a ZERO star I would. RENTER BEWARE... do not sign a lease with this company, they will find ever loophole possible to cheat you out of your security deposit. Rented a house for 3 years at $2,850.00 per month and returned the house in perfect condition (according to them) and it was re-rented to another person before we left and they kept every penny of our $2,850.00 deposit. Now I have to go spend more money on an attorney. JUST DONT DO IT!!!! Don’t take my word only, CHECK THE PAST FEW REVIEWS In response to Foreshore’s reply: I have already filed a BBB complaint and I am turning all documents over to my attorney tomorrow. I did not terminate my lease Foreshore did. I never requested to terminate my lease in writing to Foreshore and officially give a date for termination. I also want Foreshore to reimburse the rent I had to pay for a Condo in Hampton Hall along with damages. You also allowed the owner of the property live in the house during the period I paid for rent and utilities. From this moment forward please communicate through my attorney.

Negative experience: I usually do not do reviews, but I had to go out of my way for this one. They lie and play games trying to pull one over on you. I am giving them one star because some of the people were nice to deal with. They do not give security deposit back in 30 days because they try to find stuff that has been there from previous tenants when you have proof because you know the people who lived in townhouse before you.

Fantastic experience: Brian, Josh and Kirsten are a pleasure to work for. They've always gone the extra mile in helping me. It's no wonder that so many home owners and renters have put their trust in Foreshore!

Negative experience: I have never been so disappointed in staff. I walk in and they just make me feel uncomfortable and that they don't want to see me there. They are late on the maintenance that needed to be done on my apartment. My flood happens shortly after I moved in January. And now we are in august and it is finally getting finished. They never make appointments. The people that they have hired were creepy and stole stuff like old underwear , cheap jewelry and socks. I do not feel comfortable. They never have answers to my questions. I highly suggest to pick a different property management company.
