Negative experience: Current resident at 27 west st and this property management is horrible, no central air for the building the heat is always broken, the management takes almost a month to reach you and when you present your issues that make it livable they complain on the phone, horrible customer service, horrible management and you pay almost 1300 for a studio with no ac (that you have to get yourself) and during the winter your cast iron radiator will not work 90% if the time, then as an option management will say why don’t you just get a portable heater! This company is horrible and if I could give negative reviews I would! I won’t be renewing due to your lack of decency toward tenants! Wish I could swear at you here that’s how horrible you all are! I hope your company goes under leaving you all jobless! That’s for screwing me over for a whole year

Fantastic experience: Moving in to our Worcester unit was nice and the unit was freshly renovated and in pretty good condition, Racheal made the move in process smooth and easy, for which we are very grateful.

She has been considerate and responsive to my needs in the leasing process at varying hours of the day and is overall a delight to have involved during the nerve wracking process of finding a new home. Maintenance requests are handled promptly and I overall have had a great experience with management and my apartment. I will post a more thorough review once this lease term has concluded. Fantastic experience: Cristiane Kripalani is hand down the reason I moved in to this place. I had to move from Arizona to assume a job offer and had to move quickly. She was quick to respond and able to prepare all docs for signing 3 days ahead of schedule as I was on a tight timeframe. The apartment is great no issues so far, accommodating for a service animal, and made sure I was satisfied with the property during the thorough walkthrough! There was full honesty and preparation every step of the way. There is an online portal for making payments and before I left the office she made sure it was clear on how to use this. As a first time resident of MA overall. This really gave me a great first impression.

Negative experience: Stay away from this property manager! Just awful and so unprofessional. I coordinated weeks in advance to see apartment for my college student son 2 blocks from WPI. We arrive at PM office and wait for agent who proceeds to ask about my son's income and his roommates income. I explain they are all college student but I will be responsible for the rent as either a Co signer or guarantor. She insists I have to be living there to fo that (wrong!). Then all of a sudden there is already a deposit on the apartment and a waiting list. She gives us adress and say she will meet us there. We leave and get a call 5 minutes after that they wont show us the apartment because we dont meet income standard. So rediculous!!! An apartment in college neighborhood that expects all tenets to have full time jobs and income... the whole way this was handled was completely unprofessional and rude given we drive over an hour for this showing. Stay away if your a tenant or property owner!

Negative experience: You couldnt even get fresh air by opening a window, it would be strong cigarette smoke and pot smoke the kind of smell like there was an ashtray full of 100 cigarrettes and it would burn your eyes, there was not one window that gave you fresh air. It was so icy in winter and no plows or salting that mom slipped and broke her arm. When I stood at the kitchen sink an overwhemling fear used to overtake me, just in that spot, right at the sink. I never understood why. I still drank the tap water and I got a swollen esophagus and Im still having trouble four years later I need to see some specialists and im really dreading what theyre going to tell me. My blood work is starting to be off and now my throat hurts every minute of the day. During that time the cat got mouth cancer and had to be put to sleep, and mom developed a throat ulcer as well, and now kidney stones and bladder cancer that is spreading. Bedrooms have serious bed bug infestation worse than ive ever experienced and even if you move out youll still suffer from them, bringing them to new place unless everything gets thrown out. Trash issues all the time where you (whole building) will be threatened a huge fine for trash the neighbors left outside and they do it constantly. Cellar door just a board. Old Old delopitated houses with terrible breaking up foundations in need of repair with probably lead paint. They increase the rent every year higher than anyones pay would increase, so its not sustainable, after a while, the rent becomes too high, and honestly they are slums. Chirping fire alarm batteries in multiple other units they are just helpless to replace because tenants wont let them in and they wont assert any authority. Very noisy, loud bass music, slamming doors etc. Miserable and dangerously icy in winter. When it gets cold they tell all their tentants to keep the water running all day and night so the pipes wont burst because theyre old and not insulated and no heat in the cellars. Does the city have enough water supply for that? I really cannot fathom that being ok if every of their thousands of tenants kept the faucets on all night. Fire hazards, etc. I get it, alot of people are desperate and this is their only option so theyre so happy to get anything, and it starts low, they simply must leave a 5 star review, but people deserve better for their money, this trend of gladly accepting slum apts for high rates is rediculous. People need to have higher standards or nothing will improve, prices for slums will keep rising. Is there any lead paint disclosure for these units? Are people content with their children being lead poisoned and poisoned from the old water pipes and black mold because of the housing market? Sad. Still never a lack of people gladly paying thousands a month to live in a slum that could kill you, in all those ways, let alone they are just simply firehazards and a death trap due to that. Dying to pay thousands to live in a slum and give them 5 stars too. Amazing!

Negative experience: I do not recommend dealing with it because I sat for about two months trying to rent an apartment from them, and they did nothing to treat me in a disrespectful way, and they lie to me every time and force me to take a new appointment without any reason.

Fantastic experience: I lived in one of their apartments for 18 months, while I was there they were very quick and responsive for any maintenance issues I needed help with. They were prompt with their responses and quick with all repairs...circumstances led me to have to vacate my lease and they made the process easy and fair. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for an apartment

Negative experience: I rented an apartment here and would not recommend it to anyone. The management and owners show little to no concern for tenant safety or addressing any issues that arise. I ended up leaving within just a few months due to how poorly the place was run.

She was beyond patient with us, took the time to explain the application process, and really listened to what we were looking for. Negative experience: O pior lugar que já estive em toda minha vida , não indicaria nenhum apartamento dessa companhia nem pro meu pior inimigo, finalmente meu contrato de aluguel acaba agora em agosto , e estou me mudando , fiquei um ano em um apartamento deles em Worcester e foi a pior experiência da minha vida , no inverno o aquecedor nunca funcionava e quando funcionava quase nos matava de tão quente , já cheguei a ficar 4 dias direto no inverno sem água quente , ratos não consigo nem contar quantos , era uma infestação e demoram bastante a tomar providências sobre , entra vários e vários outros problemas que tivemos nesse um ano. É de um desrespeito enorme , eles não se importam com você e sim com o seu dinheiro, se você está lendo isso e está tendo os mesmo problemas vá atrás dos seus direitos

Fantastic experience: Northeast Properties made their entire parking lot at 27 Waldo Street in Worcester, MA available to my wife and I for our wedding and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how it turned out! Both of our families had to travel long distances by car to our wedding, and having a dedicated, personal parking lot for over 100 cars available to them in the city meant that all 200+ guests were able to arrive and park comfortably. We would absolutely work with Northeast Properties again!

Negative experience: The manager is so unprofessional All they want to do is show u the apartment but when it’s time to go through the application she lied and said she tried to call our job to verify She couldn’t verify it. come to found out she’s lies about it and she rejected our application 0/10

Negative experience: Rented from them for about 4yrs and can I just say these people were the worst nothing was done right and by that I mean all they care about was the rent payment and they don't know how to properly fix anything they do nothing but bootleg fix things and with the personal expensive and memorable belongings they don't care or reimburse you on it when it gets taking also they are nothing but rude and disrespectful people and the prices that they put on the apartments are not nearly as close as it should be to just rent them everytime you mention court they go and hide would never rent from them again and would never refer anyone to rent from them

Negative experience: I do not rent from northeast properties but i live across the street from one of there properties (old church not being used) i called them and asked if i can park my car's there in a winter storm.(parking lot is empty) 4 time's i called and 6 email's.not one person can call or email me back.i was thinking about moving to a bigger place but if this is how they deal with things i will not be calling them for a rental.keep in mind i offered to pay for parking
